Descripción
Signature Absolue by Montblanc is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2023, this composition was created by perfumer Meabh McCurtin. Upon release, the fragrance unfolds with vibrant freshness featuring pear, mandarin, and pink pepper; the heart reveals the sensuality of ylang-ylang, frangipani, and neroli; while the base settles on the warmth of tonka bean and cedar.

Nothing like the previous one, it’s a whole other world: a yellow floral scent. I absolutely loved it; it smells clean, fresh and elegant. I think it projects better in the heat; I wore it today at 20 degrees and on my skin it leaves a moderate woody note that’s noticeable at a metre. So far, it’s the best I’ve tried, it lasts wonderfully on skin and clothes.
I think it has more power, longevity, and projection than the Signature, but that one is more original and delicate. This one sounded very common and generic to me, with nothing to highlight. It’s rich, so if it were a gift I’d use it, but I wouldn’t buy it.
Top quality, but beware: when you first open it, it smells like nothing. You need to let it mature for about two months. Then it explodes with a powerful trail, perfect for summer and sunshine. It’s a woody floral, featuring ylang-ylang and frangipani that finishes on wood. Sophisticated and elegant; it’s the best frangipani I’ve tried. If you’re looking for vanilla, forget the Signature Absolue.
It’s not at all like the previous one; it’s totally different and a yellow floral. I liked it; it smells clean, fresh, and elegant. I think it projects better in the heat—I used it today and it was noticeable from a metre away. On my skin it leaves a moderate woody note and has stayed very good on both skin and clothes so far.
I own both versions, and this Absolu has nothing to do with the traditional Signature, which is more adult and vanilla-based. This one is softer and more versatile, with plenty of ylang-ylang giving a creamy, clean, and refreshing sensation. I love it, but on my skin it lasts less than 2 hours and the trail is very weak; I can barely smell it, though it lasts much better on clothes.
A tropical aroma that reminds me a lot of Fame by Paco Rabanne, although I prefer that one. In this signature, I notice an acidity that on my skin becomes unpleasant; it smelled better in the bottle, so I recommend testing it first. It works better in the heat and seems suitable for any occasion. 6/10.
It’s a tropical scent that reminds me of Fame by Paco Rabanne, though I prefer that one. I notice an acidity in this Signature that irritates the skin; it smelled better in the decanter, so I recommend testing it first. It works brilliantly in the heat and suits any occasion, but I’d give it 6/10.
I’m more cautious now and don’t buy blind. The previous version didn’t fascinate me, but the ‘Absolu’ is different: it’s an amber floral, not oriental like the Signature. It starts with lots of pink pepper, then yellow flowers where the neroli dominates. The ylang-ylang recalls jasmine and boosts the neroli. On the skin, it leaves neroli, ylang-ylang, and a touch of almond. The trail and longevity are low, but I’ll let it mature to see if it improves.
In the end, I stopped buying blind and made fewer mistakes. The Absolu version is in a league of its own: while the Signature is an oriental floral, this is an amber floral. It starts with pink pepper, then flowers like ylang-ylang, frangipani and neroli explode. The neroli takes charge, boosted by the ylang-ylang, leaving my skin charged with it, veiled by faint almond and cedar notes. The trail and longevity are low, but I’ll let it mature for a few months to see if it improves.
Tropical, yellow floral, citrus, a hint of sweetness is this perfume. I detect the orange, the yellow flowers, pink pepper strongly; as it evolves, it brings to mind ‘Perfect Intense’, probably due to the sandalwood, almonds, it becomes creamier, sweeter, floral, it does not resemble the Signature at all. In this version, the yellow flowers, almonds and neroli stand out more. I like this version, I see it as ideal for summer, it lasts 8 hours, has a very good trail. If you like Perfect Intense or Signature Absolue you will like it!! It is of that style, I recommend it. Scent 10/10, Longevity 9/10, Trail 8/10, Packaging 9/10, Versatility 10/10, Price/Quality 9/10. Would I buy it? Yes.
Tropical, yellow floral and citrus with a sweet touch. I detect lots of orange and yellow flowers with pink pepper. It evolves into something creamy and sweet, like the Perfect Intense, due to the sandalwood and almond. The yellow flowers, neroli, and almonds stand out. Ideal for summer, lasting 8 hours with a good trail. If you like the Perfect Intense or the Signature Absolue, this is your style. Scent 10/10, longevity 9/10, projection 8/10, packaging 9/10, versatility 10/10, and value for money 9/10. I recommend it and would buy it again.
I knew the previous version, bought a decant because I was interested in buying the original at some point but it didn’t suit me. I have just received this Montblanc Absolue because I won it in a raffle, and the truth is I am not much of these scents; it is something completely different from my tastes, but it is not something I dislike, I consider it lovely, very and very soft… a yellow floral that is not sweet at all, rather fresh. I will give it a chance because I won the full set; later I will write feedback on how it went with this scent.
I don’t know why, but this perfume gives me a headache 🙁 It is quite sweet… Although there are sweet perfumes that do not give me a headache… Well, yes, it smells like summer, but it just doesn’t quite please me… To my taste it is cloying, but if it is the kind of scent that 90% of women like…
I don’t know why, but this perfume gives me a headache 🙁 It’s quite sweet… Although there are sweet perfumes that don’t give me a migraine. Well, it does smell like summer, but I just don’t like it… To my taste it’s cloying, but if that’s what 90% of women are looking for…
A nice floral scent where the ylang-ylang stands out, accompanied by sweet mandarin and pear; as it evolves, the tonka bean is noticeable. I know it is not on the list, but in the background I perceive something similar to toasted almond, like in Perfect Intense. On my skin the trail has been moderate, but the longevity is long.
I picked it up at a free shop after returning from Brazil and never imagined I would fall for the Montblanc house; it was a top purchase. It is a yellow floral, warm, balsamic and edible. At the duty-free, while looking at other things, I tried it and it seemed different from what I usually wear, so I took it. I got the 90 ml, what luck. Now the important part: trail and longevity. On my skin, you need several sprays for it to be noticeable; I have read that it has a low trail and that is true, it is very moderate leaning towards low, and the projection is also low. It becomes more personal, of course, if you are greeted people will smell it, but it is not a beast mode. BLIND BUY: Mmmm, if you like yellow florals, something slightly sweet with a caramelised touch but without weight, you can give it a try. USAGE: It is daily and I recommend it for daytime.
This perfume is a yellow floral with a creamy touch from the ylang-ylang; I love it and consider it quite versatile, except for summer when it can become sharp. The price-quality ratio is very good, it works well on my skin, with a moderate trail and a duration of about 6 hours.
An economical perfume of good quality, cheerful, fresh and sweet with a moderate trail. Lasts 6 hours on skin and more than 10 on clothes. The opening is fruity with a slight citrus note, definitely for daytime and spring-summer use.
Affordable perfume of good quality, jovial, fresh and sweet with a moderate trail. It lasts 6 hours on skin and over 10 on clothes. Fruity and citrus opening, perfect for daytime use in spring and summer.
If you like perfumes like My Way, Libre, or strong floral scents, this is for you. I detect a strong opening of yellow flowers and neroli, not citrus. My sense of smell is very sensitive to white flowers, and I notice them from the start. It is not for me; I will have to gift or sell it; I prefer the little white one a thousand times over.
I fell in love with this perfume for its sweet yet fresh opening and bought it immediately. In my opinion, it is superior to the white version. It smells of sweet pears and soft flowers. However, after wearing it for longer, I feel that as it dries down, all the sweetness disappears and it becomes very different. I am disappointed because I love its opening. I will continue to test it.
Smells nice and refined, but I don’t feel like myself wearing it. It has an elegant note that is somewhat inaccurately described as ‘lady-like’, perhaps the ylang-ylang. It might not suit someone looking for something more millennial or Gen Z. It reminds me of the catalogue perfumes my mother used to buy.
