  Well, it seems I’m the first to review this perfume, let’s go. It’s an unknown niche, very masculine, with top, heart, and base notes that are almost identical: leather, smoky, lots of wood, and that strong, dark, elegant touch of oud and musk. I like it, but I admit it’s not for everyone; on the website they sell samples at a good price, so better to try before buying the bottle. The top note is noticeable from the very first moment; even if you apply it to your hand, the scent reaches you instantly, it’s strong and very noticeable in the first few minutes, creating that bubble at medium distance. You can already perceive that strong masculine scent with a subtle cardamomo that disappears quickly, making the perfume barely change over time. It stays special, masculine, elegant, and dark thanks to the smoke and the big leather note. I sense something slightly powdery in the base, but very light. It has good longevity; on my skin, after an hour it’s noticeable leaving a good trail, and from 2h30 onwards the trail drops a bit and it’s not so piercing, though you still catch whiffs for hours past, more intimate, close to the skin. On clothes it lasts days, watch out when applying it; it has very good longevity and trail, radiating a lot, so it can bother those around you in those first hours, but on clothes it lasts days and performs well. I think it’s worth it, although for the price there are similar and cheaper options; in the end, this is for personal enjoyment. PS: My girlfriend hates this perfume. In summary: very masculine niche, elegant, leather, smoky, and woody, I find it slightly powdery in the base. Not for everyone, try before buying. Very expensive, there are better options. Good longevity on skin and even more on clothes. Perfect for cold weather, otherwise you can overwhelm people.

  First time reviewing this very masculine niche: leather, smoky, wood, oud, and musk, all the same in top, heart, and base. I love it, although I recognise it’s not for everyone. On the website they sell cheap samples, so better to try them before spending. The top note is brutal; it reaches you instantly even if you test it on your hand, creating a strong bubble at medium distance. The cardamomo is barely noticeable and disappears quickly, so the scent doesn’t change much over time. It stays elegant and dark thanks to the leather and smoke, with a very light powdery touch at the end. It lasts a long time: on skin it’s strong the first hour with a good trail, and at two and a half hours the projection drops but you still smell it up close for hours after. On clothes it lasts days, but be careful with the quantity because at the start it can be bothersome. It’s worth it, although there are similar and cheaper options; in the end, it’s for personal enjoyment. PS: my girlfriend finds it disgusting. In summary: masculine niche, elegant, leather, smoky, powdery in the base. Not for everyone, try before buying. Expensive, there are more economical alternatives. Lasts a very long time on skin and even more on clothes. Ideal for cold weather, in summer you can overwhelm people.

  Bjorn Parfume is a king in the smoky game; their two fragrances maintain that signature essence with a smoky twist that makes them unique. Holy Smoke combines leather, saffron, and oud, and yes, it’s saffron-leather… If you don’t fancy the oud, give it a chance because it’s not that typical animal or faecal kind, but an elegant oud that, when mixed with the leather and smoke, is an olfactory wonder. It’s true that if you’re a novice, the scent might knock you back as it’s potent and challenging if you’re not used to it. In terms of performance, it’s the best in my collection: it lasts literally 24 hours without jokes, and the projection is brutal; I wouldn’t wear more than 4 sprays (and being generous) in my entire life here in Spain. In summary, one of the best saffron-leather scents with oud I know, with that smoky point I can’t quite place from the notes, making it brilliant, but not for everyone. Performance: 10/10. Artistic: 7/10. Versatility: 3/10. Final note: 8.5/10.

If you don’t like the oud, try it anyway: it’s not animal or faecal, but elegant, and mixed with the saffron-leather and smoke it’s an olfactory wonder. If you’re a novice, the scent might knock you back as it’s potent and difficult if you’re not used to it. The performance is the best in my collection: it lasts literally 24 hours and the projection is incredible; with 4 sprays (very generous) it’s enough for my entire life here in Spain. It is one of the best saffron-leather and oud scents I know, with that mysterious smoke that makes it brilliant, but not for everyone. Performance: 10/10. Artistic: 7/10. Versatility: 3/10. Final note: 8.5/10.
