Ad Libitum by Pigmentarium is an olfactive fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2018, this composition was created by perfumer Jakub F. Hiermann. Its olfactive structure unfolds with top notes of aldehydes, citrus, tangerine orange, and bergamot; a floral and woody heart featuring neroli, jasmine, and cedar; and a woody, animalic base with oakmoss, musk, and patchouli.

Not for everyone, but that’s precisely what makes them intriguing. An old-school fougère style, yet modernised: citrus notes that shine like freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning. The jasmine is noticeable, but it retains a masculine vibe thanks to well-blended aldehydes. Literally harmony within a perfume, with an almost perfect balance. Nothing stands out; everything flows naturally, aided by a good neroli and a woody-musky base that makes the dry-down a thoroughly pleasing experience. Longevity and sillage are mid-range, but I already have a new need: to add it to my collection. A mature and fantastic fragrance; I’d recommend trying it if you get the chance.
