  What will truly surprise you is the golden chain cap closing one of the most elegant fragrances you can smell, and its exquisite composition that slowly reveals itself. This is PEPPER WOOD by @etikk_fragrances: it starts very refined and gradually builds intensity. The opening notes refresh you with a soft yet vibrant grapefruit, which quickly gives way to a lovely, highly aromatic basil; its scent has completely won me over. The citrus moisture mingles with the leaves to elevate that refreshing aroma, surrounding you until you catch hints of spice from the cloves. That spice releases a subtle scent with woody nuances, and its warm heat fills the senses with a spicy sensation. In the heart, the comforting aroma of white floral tea unfolds, offering a charming perfume of imaginary flowers soaked in a warm infusion, blending with black pepper to continue tickling the nose with such aromatic and pleasant tones, adding further depth to the fragrance. The development remains very slow, allowing you to appreciate every ingredient; this perfume is truly classy and has conquered me slowly and in a very pleasing way, not just on the skin but deeper within. The dry down is like the largest diamond in the crown, the one that shines brightest and draws the most attention: cedarwood with its softness and resinous nuances fuses with a darker wood, a seductive oud, slightly animalic yet never losing its elegance.
