  • It’s good, fresh and citrusy for summer days, but it doesn’t last anything… suddenly an hour. It reminds me of TH’s Citrus Bright.

  • I like it. I consider it a fragrance for temperate or warm weather, casual… but not sporty. I suggest being careful not to overapply it, as it could bother people nearby in enclosed spaces. Its main weakness is longevity; in my case it only reaches three hours… if you’re lucky.

  • Tommy Now… No, I think Never. Intense citrus opening similar to a fizzy drink with mentholated touches, and later a slight hint of cardamomo or moss that spices up the previous notes. For refreshing up or coming out of the shower or the pool. I don’t know what else to say.

  • Tommy Now… No, I think Never. Intense citrus opening, like soda, with mentholated touches, followed by a faint hint of cardamomo or moss that spices up the previous notes. Perfect for refreshing after a shower or the pool. I do not know what else to say.

  • Weak, very weak, haha. Rich aroma: the opening they say is mandarin and bergamota smells more like sour orange, accompanied by ginger. Within minutes the mandarin fades and gives way to a more classic scent; I don’t notice much cardamomo until after an hour, what I notice most is the moss. Once dry it’s rich with the moss and cardamomo, giving a dry aroma with a faint citrus touch. On skin it lasts about 4 or 5 hours if you’re lucky. I expected more from this Tommy Now. I wouldn’t recommend it unless it’s at a laughable price. It’s fine for daytime daily use throughout the year.

Well… and that’s it. I like its freshness and how it smells, but unfortunately it doesn’t fix well on my skin and the trail is mediocre. 7 points.

Energising. If I had to define it in one word, that would be it. Upon spraying, you get a well-blended citrus punch that lasts for minutes, just enough to shift your mood and brighten the day. The development is linear thereafter: after that opening, a constant ginger note remains (quite strident or effervescent for the first half-hour) with a cardamomo base that adds a certain, albeit scarce, elegance. I have a particular vision of this fragrance. I imagine it as the reverse of a limited edition from Natura called Humor A Rigor (or rather, that would be the reverse of Tommy Now). What I mean is: in my review of Natura, I noted that the ginger, without being effervescent, stayed in the background without stealing the spotlight from the cardamomo. Here, in Tommy Now, it is the cardamomo that stays in the background without taking the focus away from the ginger. This Hilfiger would be the daytime version, and the Natura one the nighttime version of that specific combination. Do not misunderstand me; they are not similar nor suitable for layering, but rather opposites. The downside is the poor performance. On my skin, it lasts about five hours projecting for an hour, and even with a generous application, only an hour and a half. Rounding up, it is a slightly younger, less mature aroma with generic tints that usually please. Despite lacking much potency in its concentration, it has a lot of olfactory energy and suits daytime better. A fresh fragrance that performs a bit more in spring and summer. Quite versatile without standing out too much. I would not recommend it for dates, formal events, or parties where you want to make an impression. I see it as suitable for daily use, the office, university, or the gym without overusing sprays. The price-to-quality ratio is poor unless you find it for $30 or less; sometimes it goes on offer. Do not buy blindly because the performance is poor; try it first, perhaps your skin will favour longevity or it might last only a moment. Before finishing, I would highlight the atomiser: I find it very efficient; I tend to spray it several times (and on clothes too), and the bottle is not even a quarter empty. I like it. Freshly showered in the morning, it is very pleasant, and that ginger with its zing helps to feel strong and ready to get things done.

Energising; if I had to describe it in one word, that would be it. Upon spraying, there’s a punch of well-blended citrus that lasts minutes, enough to lift the mood and brighten the day. Afterwards, the development is linear: a constant ginger note (effervescent for the first half-hour) with a cardamomo base that adds a certain elegance. I see it as the reverse of a Natura perfume called Humor A Rigor; here the cardamomo is in the background and ginger in the foreground, whereas in the Natura scent it’s the other way round. They would be day and night versions of the same combination, but they aren’t similar enough to mix. The performance is lower: on my skin it lasts about five hours projecting for an hour, and with a generous application around an hour and a half. It’s a youthful aroma, with generic tints that are pleasing, possessing great olfactory energy even if the concentration isn’t potent. It suits daytime better, fresh and performing slightly more in spring and summer. It’s versatile but doesn’t stand out in any way. I wouldn’t recommend it for dates, formal events, or parties where you want to be noticed. Suitable for daytime, the office, university, or the gym without overdoing it. The price-to-quality ratio isn’t good unless you find it for 30 dollars or less. Don’t buy blindly due to the poor performance; try it first, as it might last hours or just a sigh. I must highlight that the atomiser is very efficient; I use it several times on clothes to extend the scent, and the bottle hasn’t lost even a quarter of its contents. I like it. Freshly showered in the morning, it smells great and that spicy ginger helps to feel energised.

  • It’s a rich and energising scent, but unfortunately it doesn’t project beyond 10 minutes and lasts very little on my skin. I’d recommend it for daytime wear, with a shirt in the office, using only a few sprays.

  • I consider it for daytime use in spring/summer. Unlike other comments, it did last quite a bit for me: I sprayed it on clothes and could smell it practically all day, though one must be careful with sprays as they can be overpowering. For casual wear, I quite liked it.

  • Tommy Now is citrusy, spicy, and aromatic. The opening is very fresh with citrus and spices like ginger. It smells fresh yet semi-sweet, easy to wear, though with less personality than others from the same designer. After the first half-hour, it becomes slightly woody, losing its citrus spark but retaining a musk base. It’s youthful and carefree, ideal for daytime, warm days, and informal situations or weekend outings. Longevity on me was short, max five hours, and projection is skin-scent. The aroma is pleasant but very common; although it’s not expensive, there are others that perform better. In fact, I tried the new Tommy Impact Spark, which seems more interesting, but it’s not yet on Fragrantica. Here’s just my perspective, so try it and draw your own conclusions.

  • Tommy Now is a fantastic fragrance. It does fall short slightly on longevity, yes, but on mild days it lasts the whole workday and smells exquisite. It opens citrusy, slightly herbal, then something powdery and mossy emerges. It really doesn’t resemble any other. There are prejudices that because it’s Tommy, it’s not worth it, but if you have the chance to smell it, you won’t regret it.

  • I bought this fragrance and the Tommy Now Girl for my wife, and neither lasts a thing. There’s no sillage; I apply quite a bit, yet I can’t even smell it on myself. I don’t know if it was a bad batch, but I was very disappointed.

  • I bought this fragrance and Tommy Now Girl for my wife, and neither of them lasts at all. It has no sillage; I apply quite a bit and it does not last, not even on me. I do not know if it was a bad batch, but I was very disappointed.

  • It’s similar to the classic Tommy Men with a citrus twist, like a Summer version. The scent is excellent, but the sillage and longevity drop a notch. Given the price, I think there are better options.

  • A fragrance that drives me mad. It’s lovely but imperceptible, even at close range. By the time you think your nose has caught it, it’s gone.

  • Reminiscent of the classic Tommy Men but with a citrus twist, as if it were the summer version. The scent itself is top-notch, but the trail and longevity bring the quality down. For the price, there are better options available.

  • I bought this in 2022 on sale and couldn’t resist. It opens citrusy, fresh, and masculine. As it dries down, the citrus notes fade slightly, leaving that sporty masculine aroma. It projects for an hour and a half before settling into a personal bubble, but it lasts almost six hours on me. It’s the first and only Tommy Hilfiger I own, though I hope to buy the Impact one day. In Argentina, I got it discounted to $40; I love the scent and it lasts normally for an EDT. I see it as suitable for spring, hot autumns, and summer, but not extreme heat. There are better options for that kind of heat that are also cheaper. Recommended only if you can get it with a massive discount; otherwise, no.

  • Reminds me of freshly cut pine; it’s lovely and perfect for heading to work. The downside is that after a few hours, it stays only in your personal bubble. Rating: Scent 7/10, Sillage 5/10, Longevity 5/10. It’s a hit for the office or enclosed spaces; you can reapply, and given the price and scent, it’s worth it. Cheers.

  • MartinElixir

What a shame. The fragrance itself isn’t bad; it’s attractive and masculine, with lots of pine and forest vibes (even if the notes don’t explicitly say so). The problem is that it disappears quickly. After twenty minutes, there’s hardly any scent left, even pressing my nose to my arm. It’s either olfactory fatigue or it evaporates, but it’s useless if you can’t be found later.

  • Lovely! It’s citrusy and fresh. It’s not a beast in terms of projection, but it lasts all day. It sits very close to the skin, making it perfect for summer and daily wear. I gave it to my brother and he absolutely loved it.
