To be honest, I don’t distinguish the notes much, but this fragrance reminds me in a way of Polo Blue. It’s sweet, perfect for summer and for daytime use, at the office or at informal events. Given the price, I recommend you give it a try; very good cost-benefit ratio, regards.
I was gifted a cute mini bottle of Café Iced and I happily accepted it. The first impression was strong, marine, recalling points of Davidoff’s Cool Water, like a clean, cold menthol opening akin to aftershave. After a while, the well-acidic mandarin with the geranium comes through, which is the most significant note, along with the lavender, the spice (cinnamon, herbal) and the strong vetiver. Over time, it settles into a cool and comfortable base, ending in woody and sweet notes. It’s well-made, sometimes marine, sometimes ferny… Recommended.
Seems like a spiced marine water with green ferny notes and geranium florals. The key notes are lavender, geranium, jasmine, mandarin, praline and cedar. It piques curiosity for being neat and cool. It’s fresh, barely sweet, slightly fruity and floral, not intrusive. Ideal for everything, from sports to the office or informal dinners. It reminds me of Adidas Ice Dive.
A marine fragrance smelling of the late 80s: an affordable version that emulates Cool Water very well. Ideal for autumn and especially spring. It’s versatile, unobtrusive and doesn’t stand out at work or in social settings. It smells like those fresh fragrances from the 80s and 90s, so it will be better received by the olfactory memory of people over 35 (or 40). – Scent: 7 – Value/Quality: 8 – Longevity: 3 – Projection: 3 – Versatility: 8
It’s like a less green Cool Water with a sweet dry-down. I keep it in my collection almost unused because it gives me a balsamic sensation that reminds me of Menem baby oil and it bugs me all day. I don’t hate it, but I don’t praise it either. Although, given how cheap it is, it might be worth it for temperate climates. In heat, I don’t think it’s prudent to wear it, despite the adjective ‘Iced’.
