  What a fantasy… Look mate, Dora is a perfume house on another level, with extreme quality and creations that leave no one indifferent. They have collections for every taste and Majestic Amber is my favourite. This isn’t perfume, it’s a sensory experience. An intoxicating, refined and elegant opening with invigorating pink pepper, vibrant nutmeg, a powdery touch of orris, sweet violet and potent saffron. Pay attention because the evolution is intoxicating: the heart of neroli and orange blossom emerges, with the magic of ambergris (one of my favourite notes) giving it a very strange marine touch. A few minutes later, that warm, woody, amber blend settles in, with vanilla, leather, benzoin, cedar, papyrus and moss. Seriously, it’s hard to describe, like trying to explain with words what you feel when seeing a canvas full of colour and shapes… you have to smell it, close your eyes and travel to a world of luxury, sophistication and pleasure. It’s very complex, but perfect in all its complexity. Plus, it’s an extract; you wear it to your wedding and it lasts until your funeral. It’s not very versatile, because this isn’t for everyday wear. It’s for special occasions and cold climates. But mummy… when I put this on… THE WORLD STOPS AND ASKS: ‘WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?’ A 12 out of 10.
