  • Top notes with excellent longevity and intriguing nuances, though it does have one small drawback: it features labdanum, amber, and other ingredients that are currently huge in the niche world. Just as we now see old-school pyramid structures with moss, leather, clove, and animalic notes everywhere, in the future we’ll realise that today’s obsession is all about amber :P.

  • A very good perfume with excellent longevity and plenty of nuances, but with the slight drawback of featuring those notes of labdanum, amber or whatever else that are starting to be overused in the niche. Just as we now see old pyramid structures and there’s a craze for moss, leather, carnation, animalic notes etc.; in the future we’ll see that today everything is amber :P.

I started using this wonderful fragrance because a friend wore it when we went out for lunch. I loved it so much that I decided to do the same.

I started using this wonderful perfume because a friend of mine wore it when we went out for meals. I loved it and decided to do the same.

  • Resins, resins and more ambered, sticky and pasty resins, with elemi and benzoin highlighted at the forefront, accompanied by a frankincense that is ecclesiastical and smoky, plus very aromatic and bitter black licorice. In the dry-down, the acidity of pink pepper stands out too much, alongside warm, dark floral labdanum, which further enriches the balsamic composition of the fragrance. A few hours in, a woody oud emerges, finishing with a camphorated patchouli. This is the best ambered and resinous fragrance I have tried to date, a challenge to all the sweet and boring trends currently in vogue; stay away if you’re seeking compliments; this is purely personal enjoyment, being overwhelming, brutal and without limits.
