  • Patchouli On Fire by Afnan: I was pleasantly surprised. An opening that could seem scandalous or strident, but right from that initial kick, it gives way to woods and timber, blending that herbal freshness of the leaf and camphor. It’s a perfectly executed masterpiece, overflowing with class by mixing the singular with the particular and the near with the distant in time. It’s an introduction to the most prominent garden; it smells as Olympus should, an exotic aroma where herbs make patchouli the host. What a splendid, unique fragrance, offering a comforting unease, an olfactory euphoria for men and women who wish to display the beauty of the earth as if it were blue fire and burning freshness. It’s not for boys under 20; this is for people with adult, refined, authentic, and outstanding class. It’s a bold, daring, serious, and authentic aroma. A fineness with enviable quality, one of the best I’ve tried. Scent: 10. Projection: Good. Longevity: Good. Recommended.

  • Don Benjuí

It has completely smitten me. Afnan is still a 10 for me. Without a doubt, the best Arab brands.

It has me completely smitten… Afnan is always a 10 for me; from a distance, Arab brands are better for me.

  • Polydistortion

Last Christmas I received 12 decants as gifts and they were all a success. This would be the first of those twelve I’d buy in full size. If you’re a patchouli lover, consider this wonder as your first choice.

  • Unpretentious, clean, and aromatic. It opens citrusy and dries down soapy. The woods are present throughout; it smells great and lasts a minimum of 7 hours without issues. Good projection and versatile, ideal for daily use, mostly during the day. It’s not that dark, earthy, or chocolatey patchouli many seek, but rather a bright, herbal, and fresh one that stays strong until the end. Reminiscent of some fougères from the 70s and 80s, with a very prominent lavender. Delicious, buy blind; it wasn’t what I imagined but it doesn’t disappoint. P.S.: I’ve been wearing Patchouli On Fire for days and must say there’s little patchouli here; the aromatic notes and spices seem to be the protagonists, but it doesn’t detract at all. It’s exquisite, top-tier, smells clean, and its versatility is incredible; it suits any occasion.

  • It’s a fragrance where patchouli takes the lead, and honestly, I was surprised by how similar it smells to the classic Givenchy Gentleman. That said, this Afnan version is about 80% of the original because it’s lighter, fresher, and more talc-like. You can tell they’ve modernised it, making it super versatile for day or night wear. If you like patchouli, it’s a total hit—very pleasant and personal; I’ve loved it.

  • As the name suggests, patchouli takes the lead, but I was left speechless by how similar it is to the classic Givenchy Gentleman. I think it imitates it 80%, although this Afnan one is lighter, fresher, and more talc-like, plus more versatile for day or night. If you like patchouli, you’ll love it; I’ve liked it a lot because I feel they’ve modernised my absolute favourite.
