How we choose matches
Selected notes and accords must appear in the perfume profile. Among the matches, the most popular always come first according to their votes and reviews on Parfumistas.
If you start from a perfume, we look for matches from its profile and for perfumes that share enough notes and accords. They are also ordered by popularity. Sharing this profile does not mean that the perfumes smell the same.
The season and time of day correspond to the community’s top-voted options, including ties. If you choose summer and autumn, either can match; if you add night, it must also fit at night.
Perfumes classified as both masculine and feminine are shown as unisex.
