Quentin Bisch is a renowned perfumer who has worked with some of the most important names in the fragrance industry, including Givaudan, Robertet, Carolina Herrera, Mugler and Jean Paul Gaultier. He was born in Strasbourg, France, and graduated from the Givaudan School of Perfumery.
Bisch made his debut in the world of fine fragrances in 2010 with Reminiscence Essence EDP, and since then he has created numerous popular fragrances for both niche and designer brands. Some of his most popular creations include the Delina series by Parfums de Marly, Good Girl and Bad Boy by Carolina Herrera, La Belle and Le Beau by Jean Paul Gaultier, and 1 Million Parfum and Pure XS For Her by Paco Rabanne.
Bisch is known for his bold and creative use of accords, and for his ability to adapt his style to the brand he works with. He has been called a “star perfumer” and is highly sought after in the industry.
In an interview, Bisch spoke about his passion for perfumery and the pressure and expectations that come with being a successful perfumer. He described himself as a perfectionist who is always trying to achieve more and who is constantly creating perfumes in his mind.
Bisch’s most popular range of fragrances, the Delina range from Parfums de Marly, features Turkish rose as a key ingredient. Despite its beauty, Bisch noted that working with this ingredient can be complicated and that over-dosing it can make a fragrance feel outdated.
As he approaches his 40th birthday, Bisch reflects on his career and the importance of being honest with himself and with others. He believes in the power of intuition and hard work to create beautiful, modern fragrances.
