  • A VERY FEMININE, DEVASTATING, DRUNKEN SCENT, A RATHER SEXY SWEETNESS. I WOULD BUY IT AGAIN, I HAVE LOVED IT.

  • It is as if you were mixing the darkest thing that exists with the most gourmand thing in the world. This is La Belle Le Parfum for me. Sillage and longevity in beast mode. When I found out they had changed the bottle, I ran to grab an old 100ml one on Vinted just in case… I have to say I have smelled the new one and it seems to smell the same, but as if you had put it on 2 hours ago; I think the change is that they have reduced the intensity.

When I smell this, the first thing I think is: what a sexy scent. It is sensual power in a bottle. The vanilla definitely stands out, a striking vanilla sweetened with tonka bean and pear. As I have read in the comment by @MBlack, it is very true that it is as if you were mixing the darkest with the most gourmand in a perfume bottle; it also transmits that to me. The longevity and sillage are excellent; it is noticeable a lot wherever it passes. I have fallen in love with this perfume; it seems very attractive, feminine and nocturnal to me. You are sure to receive many compliments wearing it. EDIT: run to get it because after the reformulation it is no longer the same.

  • I had it and had to sell it because of the heaviness of the fragrance, totally cloying and overwhelming. I am more of a princess perfume person, florals with some fruity touch; for this reason, it was unbearable for me. Very gourmand, too much.

  • luciapaula

This perfume captivates me. It is elegant and fresh at the same time due to the pear opening. Modern, sensual. I love it. In my opinion, a good blind buy. I cannot imagine who could not like smelling this.

  • catatioti

It is a very sweet and intense perfume, as the name suggests. Ideal for wearing at night or at an important party. I have received compliments when I wore it; however, after a few hours with the perfume on, I have not received compliments (it does not have such good sillage that it can be felt at a distance after a few hours of wearing). Very lovely, undoubtedly one of my favourites. One must moderate the sprays because you could end up intoxicating the person next to you.

  • ArfenoniF

Definitely it is my favourite perfume, a scent that simply compels you to keep smelling (I believe it is due to the tonka bean), addictive, sensual, sweet and strong. I love it.

  • It opens with a juicy, bright pear alongside a caramelised pear, which gains strength as the perfume settles on the skin. It has a spiced gourmand trail like cinnamon, which soon joins the jasmine, offering a soft musky feeling. It is strong and very sweet but always maintains the slight freshness and sparkle of the pear and the subtle powdery delicacy of the jasmine, which unite with the vanilla and tonka bean to form a charming and rich fragrance. It is beautiful.

  • Oh my goodness, what a perfume!! I have no words, it is delicious. Although I won’t declare it outright, it smells very much of powdered cinnamon, a caramelised pear wrapped in that powder. I don’t know how else to describe it; it is fantastic. Longevity and sillage are beyond question. Whenever I wear it, I receive compliments. If you are a fan of perfumes, you must know this little gem by Jean Paul Gaultier. Step out of the basics like Scandal (which is also very lovely) but which is very common. Give La Belle Le Parfum a chance!

  • La Belle Le Parfum is one of my favourite daughters from Gaultier. Its scent is sexy, sweet, vanilla-infused and delicate, like a soft caress to my nose. It is the perfume with which I have been flattered the most; even it was compared to ‘cotton candy’, proving to me how sweet it can become. Something I seek: delicacy, sweetness and something I can tolerate, as I am a person with a sensitive stomach and senses, something I do not often find in a perfume. Quite different from the original, Le Parfum is much softer and sweeter, but just as sexy. I adore both; they are a love of mine. On me, its longevity is quite long. For me, it is perfect for ‘nighttime vibes’, thanks to how sexy it is. It quickly became one of my favourite perfumes. In my opinion, it is perfect for winter and autumnal weather/climates. I love it; I would buy it again.

  • At first, this fragrance smells of cinnamon, but after a few minutes, a very strong vanilla aroma becomes apparent. I think it could be ideal for a party.

  • I adored it in the bottle, especially because of the tonka bean base, so much that I ordered it for my birthday. Fortunately, before they delivered it, I decided to try it on and had to cancel the order urgently. On my skin, it smells of pear, cinnamon and bleach 🥺🥺🥺🥺; it was terrible, and I thought it was just my idea or the top notes, but that scent lasted for hours (I admit it has good longevity). I recommend testing it on skin; it’s not for everyone, as pH can alter the scent.

  • What a wild fragrance. A sweet, vanilla-rich, enveloping pear. It has personality, it’s bold and sexy; I absolutely love it. The longevity is extraordinary, easily exceeding ten hours, with a powerful trail that can be detected from afar. Simply put, it’s a fragrance that must be in any collection; a guaranteed success.

  • jimmyperfume

I tried it in a shopping centre with high hopes, but left disappointed; there’s not much more to say. It’s too sweet, with an unrecognisable note I didn’t like, perhaps the amber. I would have loved to enjoy it, but it wasn’t the case. Maybe the tester was faulty, as reviews suggest it’s a great fragrance, so I’ll give it another try.

  • Edit: The other day, drinking coffee with cinnamon, I said: ‘La belle!’ That unbearable note I didn’t know what it was, I now know it’s cinnamon 😂😂😂, but they’ve added kilos of it to the perfume. One comment says ‘pear with cinnamon and bleach’ and it’s heading in the right direction. It ends up smelling like iron and blood; it’s weird and attracts my nose. Longevity and sillage are 10, but I don’t think I’d dare to buy it.

  • Churruca4, it’s happened to me too. Two months ago I wanted to buy it, and when it arrived and I opened the bottle, I found myself with the new version 😭

  • alexandravvz

I went to try it due to the TikTok hype. At first, I loved it, I understood the noise: it smelled like sweet, sexy, vanilla pear. But after a few minutes, I noticed a strange note I still can’t identify, and others have the same issue. It literally smells like p*pí. I swore my nose was playing tricks on me, but my friend and my mother noticed too: it’s horrendous! I don’t understand how it can make a 360-degree turn from good to terrible. It’s a shame, because I really wanted it 🙁

  • Smells great, but I wouldn’t recommend it for teenage girls; it’s more suited to those over 30. It’s a sexy, juicy scent, ideal if you can pull off the sweetness. It smells like a woman with character; I like that. For guys, if you’re looking for something to catch their attention, this isn’t it; it didn’t impress them, but it makes me feel like I’m wearing my personality. It doesn’t have exceptional sillage or longevity, I think it’s due to the reformulation, but it’s a good perfume and one of my favourites.

  • Yes, the truth is, it does smell like vanilla biscuits with pear juice on top. It’s also true that the opening is very potent and can remind you of some medicinal syrup, but then the fully sweetened jasmine appears and with every passing hour, it becomes more addictive. It’s for autumn and winter, forbidden in summer. Minimum 8 hours longevity; on clothes, it lasts a full week. When I wore it, I had a silicone watch and it got permanently impregnated, lol, the scent won’t go away.

  • Lorenapicazo

I love it: sweet yet soft, nothing cloying. If you’re not a fan of sweet scents, this is for you. Addictive and super original; I’ve never smelled anything like it. It lasts forever on skin and clothes; every burst reminds you how adorable you smell. It makes you feel sexy and tender. Note: it’s totally winter-appropriate; I wouldn’t recommend it for the rest of the year.

  • I just bought it for my mother for her anniversary and what an exquisite thing it is. It’s a pear candy (very realistic and fresh at the start) with red berries, cinnamon, and vanilla. Obviously, it’s the old bottle: it lasts a beastly amount of time and projects heavily to moderately, but always leaving a trail. What a beauty; I’ll have to buy one for myself since my mother hid the bottle from me, lol, what a wonderful perfume 😀

  • Stefania Gallardo O.

It has a very potent opening, so much so that it gave me nausea, unbearable. Once dry, it leaves a smell of freshly ground pepper, which worsens the initial sensation. On my pH, it’s an absolute NO. I recommend not buying it blind.

  • Melissarinana

I’d heard it was very nice and the truth is, I liked the opening, but the dry-down is terrible. I recommend not buying it blind.

  • obsidian_girl

Reading the notes, I thought it would be a total success and that I’d love it. I love intense, sweet perfumes with a strong presence. I went to the perfumerie and it disappointed me hugely, even after testing it several times on my skin. My mum told me it smelled like olive juice and now I can’t get that idea out of my head, lol. I recommend testing it first, as it differs on each skin. A friend wears it super sweet and sexy, which is crazy to think about how it changes with pH.

  • Mitafragance

I haven’t worn La Belle Le Parfum in ages and today I put it on; I’ve been wondering what it reminds me of so much. I know no one will agree with me because it makes no sense, but it’s the same sweetness, the same vanilla that makes Kissing Burns remind me of Dama Bianca. I feel it, but the final aftertaste is totally addictive and seems very similar between these three.

  • I believe that complicated ‘olive’ note only appears in the opening. Once dry, it’s a nectar of vanilla, pear, and tonka bean. The dense creaminess of the tonka bean gives it depth and darkness, marking the difference from La Belle. Both are beautiful and super elegant, though I find La Belle more versatile and Le Parfum better suited for fresh climates or evening wear.

  • Tatianavargasg

Spectacular perfume. At 25, it’s in my top 3 of everything I’ve bought so far. On my skin, it lasts 8 to 12 hours and on clothes, even after washing, it still leaves a scent. I bought it blind and when it runs out, I will definitely buy another.

  • Delfi Florit

I’ve tested it many times to see if I’d like it, but unfortunately, I can’t stand it, neither this nor its sibling ‘Le Parfum’. On my skin, it smells strongly of olive (I hate that note, lol) and it doesn’t improve with time. I also don’t like Kayali’s Candy Rock Sugar, which people say is similar, so it’s definitely not my profile. What a pity.

  • Brutal and beautiful fragrance. It opens with a juicy pear that balances the dense, creamy heart of jasmine and tonka bean. The dry-down is powerful, almost overwhelming due to its sweetness, but as it settles, the vanilla takes over, becoming enveloping and super sensual. The overall performance is dense, so it’s not a blind buy. Ideal for autumn and winter; it’s too heavy for summer. The longevity is beastly, lasting over 8 hours, and the sweet sillage lingers on clothes until they’re washed.

  • vanny1903

I confirm it smells like olives… but I love it, haha, everyone has their own tastes. Seeing it recommended on TikTok I thought it would be a sexy and sweet bomb, but no. The first thing was: OLIVES (seeing the comments, I wasn’t the only one wrong). That disappointment vanished when I smelled it again days later and found I really liked it; it’s addictive. Yes, it’s sexy (at least for me), with a sweet touch (very little) but with its own charm and style, not just sweet.

  • I don’t smell what they say about olives, haha. What I smell is melted cotton candy with cinnamon. I love it. It’s ideal for a romantic date. It lasts quite a while and stays on the clothes. It’s delicious. There’s no other mist like it; it’s very special.

  • Angela pamela

It’s a fiery perfume, with just the right intensity and characteristic of Jean Paul Gaultier 💖. If you want to feel like Cleopatra arriving on a ship full of aphrodisiac aromas to conquer any male, this is the perfume.

  • To me it smells of sweet pear. The vanilla isn’t very noticeable, but the sweetness of the tonka bean is. It smells super sexy and feminine; I received many compliments from men and women, which doesn’t always happen, hehe. It lasts quite a while, although the trail isn’t what I’d expect for the price, to be honest. A bit pricey, but certainly a good perfume.

  • Jean Paul Gaultier Le Belle Le Parfum defines elegant, sexy, and powerful femininity. Ideal for women over 28. It’s a bomb that invades you instantly: intense vanilla embracing the pear, then softened by tonka bean and jasmine, perfect for winter and nights. If I smell it on a woman I’d ask for her hand in marriage. It leaves anyone spellbound. I tested it as a man and fell in love; it has an incredible trail, you can feel it in every corner without overwhelming everything, and it lasts a ridiculous amount of time leaving a vanilla scent on the skin. Rating: 9.7/10.

  • NewspaceMarta

I keep my 2022 bottle like a treasure: a candied pear with a hint of liqueur, vanilla, tonka bean, and something that seems like undeclared leather or suede. It’s an overwhelming beauty that we lost with the reformulation 🥲

  • TíaSarah77

For me, it’s a gem; it makes me feel noticed. At first it’s a bit sharp but lovely, and that sensation passes quickly, turning sweet with citrus notes that make me drool.

  • Ugh, don’t buy this blindly; I made a mistake. It smells like a potent, intoxicating, and super-sweet bomb. It’s for evening wear, perfect when it’s cold, but on a hot day it’ll give you a headache.

  • Girls, I hate it today 😭 I bought it blindly because of social media and then read it smells like olive. When it arrived I tested it and that’s all I could smell 😭😭😭😭

  • Relief that I didn’t buy it blindly. It just smells like olive. That said, it lasts a ridiculous amount of time; I washed it and it’s still there, even though the salesperson only sprayed it once. It’s not for me. I’ll stick with Divine, which is also controversial but on me smells of sea and vanilla. This one is horrible.
