Jacques Polge
Jacques Polge is a French perfumer known for his creations for Chanel. He was born on 14 June 1943 in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Tercera República Francesa. He began his career in perfumery in 1970, working with Roure Bertrand Dupont. In 1978, he joined Chanel, where he remained until his retirement in 2015.
Throughout his career, Jacques Polge has created fragrances for men and women. He is the driving force behind the creation of popular Chanel fragrances, including Coco Mademoiselle, Bleu de Chanel, Chance and Allure.
