Descripción
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Toilette is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2002, the nose behind this composition is Jacques Polge. The top notes unfold with orange, bergamot and grapefruit; the heart reveals rose, lychee and Italian jasmine; while the base notes land with patchouli, Tahitian vetiver, bourbon vanilla and white musk.

My favourite for spring and summer afternoons, and perhaps some nights. I love it because it’s long-lasting; although it’s an EDT, it lasts a long time on my skin. I find its notes pleasant; it’s sophisticated, fine, distinguished, and elegant like Miss Dior. The patchouli, orange, and roses stand out; afterwards, I perceive vetiver and vanilla. Ideal for romantic outings in spring or summer nights outdoors.
It’s so rich that people stop very close to smell it.
The EDT and EDP are similar, but I find the EDT fresher and more citrusy. It’s softer and more delicate, ideal if the EDP feels heavy or overwhelming to a second nose. If you like citrus and freshness without being ‘common’, it’s a great option. I just applied the last bit of a decant and it smells delicious. Despite everything, I stick with the EDP, but I don’t rule out buying the EDT for its versatility. I recommend it for spring and evenings. It suits any age. A very good fragrance, I love it, I can’t stop smelling the bottle. Feminine, a little sweet… it’s charming. 8.5/10.
For some reason, when I smelled it, I thought of a lovely, coquettish girl, like Penny from The Big Bang Theory. It has that undeniable Chanel touch: elegance and sensuality in equal measure. Interesting fruity treatment. Mixed with a woman’s natural scent, the result can be genuinely bewitching.
I had the EDP and adore it, but I find it hard to wear; on my skin, it projects too much. Yesterday I tried this version and while they are similar at first, afterwards this one is more subtle, the citrus notes stand out more, and there is less vetiver; it feels warmer and the longevity is very good. It’s on my ‘I want’ list.
This is a good version of Chanel. Exquisite, fresh, slightly spicy, cheerful, luminous, attractive, and sexy. Patchouli, citrus, and flowers. I love it; it’s totally original. Nothing to do with No. 5 or similar scents for women of the past. Coco Mademoiselle is for TODAY.
Delicious and feminine, it’s addictive (unfortunately, as it’s not cheap). When I wear it, it envelops me in a joyful aura. The citrus notes give energy, then it settles into a sweet, floral, and musky tone, so sensual. For everyday wear, the office, or going out with friends in the sun, it makes me feel comfortable, relaxed, and sexy, like wearing a perfect simple dress. A saleswoman recommended it when I asked for something fresh and different. It will accompany me for a long time.
Mmm… what memories it brings back. How to explain it: rich, exquisite, sexy, fruity. I adore it, perhaps I’ll buy it again. Very long-lasting and with great projection.
The scent is pleasant, but the longevity is non-existent on my skin. I have to carry it in my bag and reapply at least four times. It doesn’t offer good projection for the price. As I prefer Modadicta, I should have opted for the EDP; this EDT evaporates quickly, is softer, and you enjoy it less. I’ll wait until it runs out to buy the EDP, which will last longer and won’t finish so fast.
A treasure for the vanity. I love how it evolves on the skin. I prefer its opening and base notes; the dry-down doesn’t overwhelm me. It’s elegant without being heavy. As soon as I put it on, I hear ‘From Me to You’ by the Beatles. Highly recommended for feminine girls with character.
It is a pleasant scent, but it does not last on my skin unlike the perfume. In general it is soft, not so citrusy but fresh, ideal for everyday wear, although it does not fascinate me.
Exclusively for lovers of citrus, as these are the predominant notes and dominate the entire perfume. In my view, this predominance makes it something hard, not delicate or feminine. It is not to my taste because I do not usually like such strong citrus scents. It reminds me of the legendary Ô by Lancôme or Eau de Rochas, and apparently they share several notes. The sillage and longevity are moderate, but that is normal for this type of perfume. It does not overwhelm or tire; a good summer option for citrus lovers.
It is not an excessively pleasant fragrance, but it is very elegant. It smells of a refined lady who does not seek to please, but to dominate. The dominant notes are rose, citrus and patchouli. It has good projection and longevity, and it lasts days on clothes. I find it suitable for an undefined age range; both my mother and I wear it, she is 60 and I am 20.
The Eau de Toilette of this Chanel classic has its admiration justified. It is a luminous, cheerful and radiant essence, reminiscent of Marc Jacobs’ Daisy but with the difference that Coco is more centred and composed. As most will have tried the Coco Mademoiselle, it is easier to compare it with the EDP. First, it accentuates a citrus burst in the opening, an tyranny of orange that settles quickly to pass to a delicate floral heart. The difference lies in the base: the vetiver is minimal and, lacking opopanax, it does not have as much character as the EDP. The base reveals it is a product by Lagerfeld and not strictly by Chanel, as it is drowned in vanilla to fill gaps. What would Coco have done? Taken risks. Tragically, in my opinion, it is not the scent of a woman, but that of an expensive and elegant orange and vanilla infusion. It is not bad, but it is not what I expected from Chanel, especially me, who is not afraid to say she likes classics that seem obsolete. If it was not yesterday, it is not today or tomorrow.
I have already owned this perfume three times: it is exquisite, elegant and woody for special occasions. What more can I say? Everyone knows it already. If it is not in your collection, you are missing out.
I consider it very similar to the EDP. It is a super feminine, urban and modern perfume. It suits all seasons; I love that slightly earthy patchouli note. Good longevity and sillage; it is one of my favourites.
In my opinion, it smells very much like Miss Dior Eau de Toilette, although the Miss Dior has greater longevity and sillage.
Very pleasant, but unfortunately it doesn’t last on my skin at all and leaves no sillage either. A pity given the price.
Interesting and elegant; I could even wear it if I were a man. It is a heavy fragrance with great presence, a little daring. It is not something to wear every day.
Oh my goodness! I don’t know why I always gravitate towards oriental scents, but this Coco Mademoiselle Toilette is my absolute favourite. It defines me, it flatters me, and it makes me feel comfortable in my own skin. It is elegance and subtlety in a single bottle, minimalist and chic. Although I was hoping for the EDP, I feel just as happy with this. Yes, for many it feels outdated, but for me it is me: elegant, romantic, melancholic, poetic, strong and tender. 100/10, the longevity is incredible.
The most sublime version of my beloved Coco Mademoiselle EDP, this is for those who love CM EDP but can’t tolerate it. It’s citrusy, ideal for work meetings where you need to have personality without overwhelming others. Elegant and even can be unisex. I love it.
I prefer Coco Mademoiselle EDT because, although it resembles the EDP, it’s lighter; the citrus give freshness to the dry-down, you can wear it perfectly daily and it doesn’t get boring, it’s not as formal as its sibling. The only thing I don’t like is its price 😐
I owned the CM EDP and couldn’t handle it; I love it, but being intense, it’s intrusive and gives me a headache. I decided to try this: it’s a very similar scent but with more marked and fresh citrus notes, with less intense patchouli, not so ‘earthy’, its rose is noticeable but more delicate… in short, it smells like the EDP version but is more subtle, fresh, casual and delicate. It has less character and is a bit less elegant. For an EDT, it has good longevity, at least on me, about 6-7 hours and its trail is moderate. It’s very versatile, can be worn practically all year round, although I wouldn’t wear it in hot daytime climates.
As I mentioned in my Coco Mademoiselle EDP review, this patchouli note kills me and I can’t stand it. Being an EDT, I tolerated it much better than the EDP, but in the end it stayed there, persistent and overwhelming. The pH of each skin and how it affects each note is an alchemy and a mystery. Nevertheless, and with great regret, I’ve had to accept that Coco Mademoiselle and I won’t be friends; it’s a fragrance I like on other people and when smelling it in the bottle or on a blotting paper. What a pity. Longevity and sillage are optimal, with high-quality ingredients.
Paris in a bottle: it has no rival. It’s rich, unique, elegant and refined. I recommend it to women over 25. Works well day or night, in spring or winter, for the office or a dinner, whatever it may be.
A delicious fragrance. At first I thought it was a bit unisex, but over time on the skin it becomes incredible. It came out a bit powdery on me, but it smells amazing. I don’t know how to explain it, it’s very good. Perfect for the day or the office.
I gifted it to my wife and we both loved it. It smells fantastic and has good projection. We don’t know the EDP well enough to compare it with many positive reviews.
Does anyone know if it smells like Daisy? I’m looking for something similar but with better longevity and more sillage. Thanks!
Coco Mademoiselle is one of my all-time favourites. Mimicked a thousand times, but still unmatched. That blend of citrus, floral and sweetness evolves over time, with a sparkle that reminds me of a bubbly champagne on a Parisian terrace with the Eiffel Tower in the background – a chic, enchanting woman. Everything fits perfectly, nothing brash, everything harmonises. It’s super versatile; day or night, it suits any setting and makes your outfit shine, whether sporty, chic, casual or elegant. From the market to the boutiques, from the boulevards to the cafés, from morning to night, from work to uni, Coco Mademoiselle always adds just the right touch to turn the mundane into something special. It’s delicious, irresistible and addictive. A rounded composition, a masterpiece by Jacques Polge and worthy of Chanel. And here’s a bonus: even the eau de toilette lasts a long time and projects without being intrusive. Coco Chanel is natural elegance bottled in perfume, something anyone with good taste adores. Au revoir! Edit: Sprayed on a paper 5 days ago, a bit fell onto a shirt sleeve and it still smells like Coco Mademoiselle.
Feels like pure Chanel: luxury and character in a bottle. It’s delicate and feminine without being overpowering, yet it has presence and class. Goes great all year round and is ideal for formal events.
The first time I smelled it, I liked it immensely. It seemed fine, refined, and very feminine. I like the citrus opening and how quickly the flowers appear. And that’s the problem: on my skin, it disappears very quickly. I’ll try the EDP later. I don’t find it similar to Daisy; Daisy seems fresher and brighter to me, whereas this Coco feels more muted, perhaps due to the roses.
I’ve always been prejudiced against Chanel, having tried few fragrances (including the EDP) and finding them old-lady-like. But this perfume surprised me; it’s very lovely. At first, I find it a bit strong, but then it softens. It’s a citrus and floral scent yet slightly powdery. I see it as versatile. The best part is that it has an air of my beloved Miss Dior EDP (2012). The only criticism is that I don’t feel good sillage; I’d have to spray it several times to improve performance. If you like citrus, floral, soft perfumes or the Miss Dior EDP (2012), I mega recommend it for blind buys. It’s a pleasant scent, ATP. Edit: I applied 6 sprays and it lasted all day. I love it.
Wooded floral elegance with an aura evoking fine tea rooms like Angelina in Paris. It’s a polysemy on skin where the best part is the contrast between the floral (very feminine) and the wood (sober and contained), creating a constant, interesting dialogue. The entire formula features the rose and patchouli binomial very prominently. A very Chanel perfume; just as Coca-Cola has its seal, these perfumes have a fixed, recognisable identity. Personally, I prefer this Eau de Toilette to the perfume due to its fluctuation and journey; I perceive its layers as more veiled, less sweet, and drier. A 10 and bravo.
How difficult it is to review such a well-known fragrance! I confess I wanted the EDP for the coveted bottles, but it’s not for me. Instead, the EDT… magic! Love at first sniff. That blend of orange and patchouli has me spellbound. A slight soapy touch and very Chanel-esque that I adore. This and Chance are my favourites from the house. I wear it in autumn, but today it’s hot (summer) and it pleasantly surprised me. A beauty, a classic. Very Chanel.
I’ve used both. On my skin, the EDT is fruitier when dried and retains that ‘effervescent’ touch of the opening until the end. In the EDP, the dry-down is more woody and the patchouli is more noticeable. I still prefer the EDP because I see it has more body, consistency, a better dry-down, and lasts longer with less quantity.
My husband gifted me this EDT. Honestly, I’m indifferent: it doesn’t disgust me, but I don’t love it either. It’s moderately fresh and you can sense the elegance of a Chanel. I use it when I’m unsure what else to wear because I know it’s pleasant; despite not being my favourite, I’ve received compliments. Longevity is medium-high, lasting about 6 to 8 hours on me.
I like it, though I’m not passionate about it. I wanted a Chanel and bought this. There’s too much patchouli for my taste, so I apply a small amount. It has an orange opening on my skin and then becomes sweet. I hope I’ll like it more with time. I’ll wear it this spring; I’m in the Southern Hemisphere.
It has muuuuuuch better longevity than you’d expect for an Eau de Toilette. Although it’s not exactly the same as the perfume, it’s remarkably close, about 95%.
Buy blind! Roses with patchouli in just the right amount. It reminded me of Miss Dior, but more formal. I see it as a perfume you wear as an accessory, an extra must-have when you’re dressed up.
I was gifted this and rarely wear it. Every time I test it, I wipe my hand because the patchouli is so sharp and I detect nothing else; once dried, it smells like a very boring rose. It has good longevity and sillage, but it simply isn’t for me.
