Descripción

Miss Dior Eau De Toilette by Dior is a chypre floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2013, this composition was created by perfumer François Demachy. Its olfactive structure unfolds with a top note of blood orange, giving way to a heart of Damask rose, Bulgarian rose and neroli, while the base rests on patchouli.

This is my first Chypre perfume. I loved it because the patchouli doesn’t dominate (as in many perfumes of this style I’ve tried: Coco Mademoiselle, the same ones from Dior); it stays as a base note, giving a sweet, caramelised and deep tone. It lasts over 10 hours and has a very good projection. I hope they haven’t changed it yet.

Absolutely in love with this perfume! It was hard to get hold of and I finally found it. It makes a lovely impression, you’re sure to catch attention. It’s sweet, not cloying. I’m not much of a rose person but this one is tender. It’s true the patchouli is very soft, almost imperceptible to my nose. If I had to recommend a Miss Dior with certainty, it would be this one. The Parfum is very strong, but it’s a matter of taste… Edit: it has orange, because I perceive it as a top note at the beginning.

I’ve fallen deeply in love with this one; I searched for it for ages and finally found it. It makes a lovely impression, so you’re sure to be noticed. It’s sweet but not cloying. I’m not a huge rose fan, but this one is tender. The patchouli is very soft, almost imperceptible. If I had to choose a Miss Dior, it would definitely be the Parfum. It’s strong, but that’s a matter of taste. Update: it has orange, as I initially mistook the opening for something else.

  • Recently I was gifted some samples of this delicious perfume. At first it’s citrus, somewhat sharp and fresh, then you feel the caress of rose petals, but in a modern version… something sweet and soft. The patchouli base is very, very subtle. What a lovely perfume! I think it would be the perfect gift for a young girl.

  • When I wrote the review I only explained the patchouli bit: let me tell you what it smells like. Roses, fresh roses with a citrus touch; it’s very sparkly and cheerful. I think the neroli doesn’t stand out too much and gives that citrus sensation. The patchouli is barely noticeable, lasts over 10 hours and has a very good presence. I also have the new EDP version and they are totally different; I love both, both are based on a rose scent; while this one is very refreshing, the other is very warm and creamy.

  • Last week I heard this perfume in a magazine and I must say, I’ve loved it; it’s simply enchanting. I don’t know what it’s like on the skin, but it’s a dreamy scent. Everything Selene said is true: it smells of pure rose and more rose. It’s a cheerful, youthful perfume that I could wear daily; I’d say it’s one of those all-rounder perfumes. I still don’t know if I’ll buy it as I need to test it on my skin, but if I like it, it’s a good candidate. Ahhh, and this one I like much more than the Miss Dior EDP, although Le Parfum remains my favourite. If I buy it, I’ll let you know.

  • Oh my goodness! Or rather, oh my Dior! I have such a sad history with this perfume. I wanted to like it. I like the notes, I like the imagery in the advert with Natalie Portman, I love the bottle… Yet when I tested it on my skin, what I found was… cigarettes! Not tobacco, but ash and cigarette smoke. My pH played a bad trick on me. If it weren’t so expensive, I’d buy it just for the bottle. I’ll give the other versions a chance.

This is the Miss Dior Chérie Eau de Toilette; they’ve simply taken the Chérie off the label. I adore it; it’s an absolute delight that puts me in a good mood.

  • nomadadelmar

On an online perfumerie it says it has these notes: Top: aldehydes, gardenia, galbanum, clary sage and bergamot. Heart: carnation, iris, lily root, jasmine, neroli, lily of the valley, rose and narcissus. Base: labdanum, leather, sandalwood, amber, patchouli, oakmoss and vetiver. What do you think? Are these all its notes?

What a find! It has all the good bits of the EDP: elegance, radiance and femininity, but without that excess sweetness or patchouli. It seems even more elegant to me. It smells of roses, not that typical cloying or powdery rose, but rather acidic, exquisite roses.

  • Blind buy perfume. Love love love!! For me it’s the perfect balance between fresh roses, sweetness, citrus and patchouli. In my opinion, it can be worn practically all year round. It gives me a feeling of femininity, cleanliness, elegance and coquettishness.

  • A chypre that I absolutely love, subtle and innocent yet still having presence. I adore it; it’s perfect for the heat and for daily wear, it’s not overwhelming or intrusive. 100% recommended.

  • It smells of tender, feminine and delicate roses. It keeps the heritage of Miss Dior Cherie EDT but is less sweet and without that typical popcorn note. The patchouli is much less intense than in the other MD family members, but its skin fixation is just as extraordinary… Three sprays are enough for me to feel perfumed all day. I had a bottle and sold it in a moment of impulse… I regret it so much!

  • It smells very much like Chanel Mademoiselle; I’m obsessed with the citrus and patchouli notes. I have both and I believe one is more than enough. Recommended.

  • It reminds me a lot of Chanel Mademoiselle; I like the citrus and patchouli. I have both perfumes and I think one of them is enough. Recommended.

  • Tender, feminine, delicate and innocent. It’s the perfect balance between fresh, acidic and exquisite roses with a citrus sweetness: a mix of elegance and coquettishness. It reminds me a bit of Coco Mademoiselle, but with the DNA of Miss Dior. I own both and people have even confused them in the street.

  • Sharlette

Tender, feminine, delicate, and innocent. It’s the perfect balance between fresh, acidic roses and exquisite sweetness. The citrus notes blend elegance and coquetry. It reminds me a bit of Coco Mademoiselle, but with the Miss Dior DNA. I own both and have even been mistaken for wearing the same scent in the street.

  • I got this in a tester without a box, so I don’t know the year, but the scent matches: it starts with neroli and a faint orange, then fresh rose comes through, and by an hour later the patchouli emerges, which to me is a bit talcky. I love it; it’s a modern, romantic and elegant rose. The only downside is that the trail fades with the weather; on a sunny spring day it smelled wonderful, but when it clouded over it almost disappeared even after four hours. I’d recommend it for spring, summer and early autumn. Otherwise, it’s gorgeous.

  • milenamagnolia

What a beauty! It’s special, with sparkling citrus notes, a touch of talc, and a potent rose. I use it a lot: it’s feminine, elegant and minimalist, perfect with a fresh dress for a spring walk. It lasts forever and lingers on clothes. Good projection. If you like citrus florals, give it a try.

  • Fun, innocent and sexy all at once; it’s a real gem. People always ask me to wear it, and men absolutely love it. Ideal for spring and summer as it’s not heavy, though in winter the cold reduces its projection. It smells like spring and makes me feel like a princess when I wear it.

  • Cherchezlafemme

If the EDP cloyed you, this version is better. It’s also good for summer. It’s very sweet, I barely notice the neroli. I know it’s a direct and easy fruitchuli, aspirational for young girls who want to smell sweet, but I still wear it. The marketers aren’t fools; that aspirational nonchalance with the pink liquid and silver ribbon strikes a chord with me. I know I was never and won’t be that ‘spoiled well-behaved girl’, but sometimes I try to be. Miss Dior EDT puts me in a good mood, it’s cheerful and covers quite a few sorrows.

  • It’s delicious, sweet without being overwhelming, soft and fresh, super feminine. Suitable for any setting: office, date, outdoors, it’s divine. It lasts up to 5 hours and I’m happy reapplying it.

  • locadelosperfumes

I love this perfume: those roses with patchouli and that irresistible sweetness. I wouldn’t change it for anything. I need this scent because it brightens my day. It’s the best there is.

  • CamiPicaro

I loved this version until they changed it in 2018 😭. Does anyone know a fragrance similar to the old one?

  • Miss Dior EDT is spectacular, the typical perfume that doesn’t disgust almost anyone. It’s incredible for those who love sweet perfumes but seek something light for summer, or for those who love citrus and want to step up the stakes without getting cloyed. On my skin, it smells identical to Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel, I don’t notice any difference. Conclusion: IT’S A PERFUMON! for summer; in winter it disappears. For gifting, it doesn’t disappoint.

  • Jessica Campos

I bought it blind for the notes. EDTs usually work on my skin, so I took the risk. It’s addictive. It’s not intrusive, but I can smell it for 4 to 6 hours. It’s a feeling of freshness, clean and sweet floral, elegant and youthful, ideal for daily use without getting bored. I notice good acceptance among men, but if that weren’t the case, I wouldn’t care; it’s a very accomplished EDT from Dior.

  • I think this fragrance shines more in mid-seasons. I tried it in the heat and by 3 hours I wasn’t feeling it anymore. Now, in an autumnal and rainy atmosphere, I enjoy it much more. Being an EDT, I expected more, but the scent is a 10.

  • I was searching for this exquisite scent that is no longer available in Argentina: patchouli, roses, and orange. What a delight! I made it my favourite in EDT. It smells of love, fairy tales, a story of princes and princesses in magical gardens. When I wear it, I feel like a princess waiting for her blue prince. Pure love!

  • A powerful and sophisticated blood orange opening, not just any citrus. The sweet flowers take over and last until the end. It’s not fresh, but it doesn’t bother in summer; the projection is low, almost for personal use only. It smells very feminine and elegant, perfect for the office because it’s linear and not intrusive. The downside is the longevity, barely 3 hours, so better for gifting. It’s not gourmand, it’s citrus and ‘freshy’, but unfortunately it doesn’t last. Be careful with reapplication, it overflows and becomes overwhelming. It’s a rich treat when the nose has an appetite.

  • Lady Wallis

To me, this is the perfume of spring. I detect the blood orange so strongly that I adore it. Then the roses and white flower emerge, followed by a touch of patchouli on dry down that doesn’t overpower… I love it. I tried the EDP first and it didn’t convince me; I sensed too much vanilla and it gave me pause, but on advice I gave the EDT a second chance and, bam! I found my spring scent 🌸. On my skin it lasts about 6 hours, and if you grab the hair oil, it lasts the full day without fuss, plus it leaves a spectacular shine and fluidity. The trail is moderate to wide. Ideal, simply ideal.

  • Lady Wallis

It’s my spring perfume: the blood orange is brutal, then the roses and white flower emerge, and as it dries, a subtle patchouli that doesn’t weigh you down. I tried it first in EDP and the vanilla made me gag, but with the EDT I fell in love instantly. It has fantastic longevity of 6 hours and with hair oil it lasts all day with an incredible sillage. The trail is moderate to wide, ideal, period.
