Descripción
Chloé Eau de Parfum by Chloé is a floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2008, this composition was created by Amandine Clerc-Marie and Michel Almairac. The top notes reveal a combination of peony, lychee, and freesia; the floral heart unfolds with rose, lily of the valley, and magnolia; while the base notes land with the elegance of Virginia cedar and amber.

A while ago I tried Chloé with a friend and it smelled good and different, so I asked to try it myself. I hated it and discarded it. A year ago they gifted me the Nomada and I kept it, reluctant given my previous experience. It turned out this second one actually surprised and delighted me, as I prefer sweet and intense scents. With so many fans and looking for something more wearable for good weather, I gave it another chance. Conclusion: I detest it; I can’t distinguish the notes, but there’s a combination that makes it bitter and clings to me all the time. My rejection is immediate even as it settles on the skin.
It’s everything I dislike: roses, dated, vintage, classic… Nothing sparkly, fun, youthful or sexy. No, it’s not for me.
You can really smell the soft roses; it’s dusty, elegant and sweet, evoking tenderness for me. It’s perfect for days when you want to feel very feminine in a long dress.
It’s a dusty floral, like opening a trunk of old white and pink flowers. Spraying it transports me to another era. It’s quite fresh; I wear it during the day and I think it suits any age. They’ve already mentioned that Mercadona has an identical clone with the same trail, just in case you want to try it first.
It’s sweet and floral yet fresh at the same time, like looking at a garden from a bench. It’s elegant, feminine and pleasant. My mum wears it, but I’d recommend it for all ages. As soon as I can, I’ll buy my own, but for now I’ll use the Mercadona clone. They aren’t exact matches, but they’re quite similar.
I don’t understand the good reviews. I’ve smelled it on many people and it just displeases me, even irritates me. There’s a note that my nose can’t stand. Besides, it feels very cold and impersonal… I’m sorry Chloe, you’re just not for me.
I love it; it’s very feminine and fresh… highly versatile, a real all-rounder!
My absolute favourite! I’ve owned three bottles; it’s always been long-lasting, feminine and fresh. It’s the perfume people ask me about in the street to gift to brides or buy for themselves.
I have the Mercadona Rose Nude and they’re like twin sisters. It’s definitely worth trying the Mercadona one, which costs around €10… if you like this, you’ll be blown away by the department store version!
I bought this for my mum for Christmas 😂😂. She already owns the Mercadona Rose Nude, and after searching online, I found this to be the original. They smell incredibly similar, so I think I made the right choice 😉
Little is said about its longevity; it’s a real beast! The scent is enchanting, and although it’s ubiquitous, it’s well worth it, and although there are thousands of clones, I still detect its touch of distinction… I adore its rose and lychee; they make a combo that is pure joy! A ray of sunshine on a grey day!
I thought I would like it for its floral scent, but I haven’t liked it much. I find it too simple, common, and somewhat childish. I don’t feel it stands out. It is true that over time the scent becomes more pleasing to me, and I believe it lasts quite a while on the skin.
I hate this perfume; I can’t stand it; it makes me feel very dizzy. It smells extremely powdery rose. It has good longevity, but it is definitely not for me. Do not buy it blindly…
Before smelling it, I didn’t understand why so many people talked about it, and honestly, after buying a 5 ml blind sample, I could understand all the love for this fragrance. For me, it’s spectacular, with a perfect balance between notes, good projection, and hours of longevity on the skin. After years of trying to dethrone the classic Pleasures in my collection, I have been utterly captivated by this beauty. A dream made into perfume, floral, innocent yet distinguished. A pretty girl, but one of those who puts on heels and walks strongly through life.
A lovely, romantic, and elegant perfume. The rose present reminds me greatly of Idôle by Lancôme; I usually fear perfumes with that note, but as I mentioned, it’s a youthful rose. Refined, it adds sweetness without exaggeration, is fresh, and gives a sense of cleanliness. It’s one of those perfumes that, when you smell it, brings calm, peace, and tranquility. A true beauty ❤️.
Mixed feelings about Chloe… on one hand, I agree about its longevity on skin, but my disappointment is that its scent is so well-known; I think it’s been imitated too much. Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s worth the expense for such a common smell.
This perfume has become a new classic. I know several people for whom it is their signature scent. It smells of fresh roses with a hint of lychee and green nuances. It’s clean, delicate, and very feminine. It has moderate sillage and lasts up to 12 hours, though it stays close to the skin after 7–8 hours. Although I recognise its quality after using many samples, I don’t include it in my collection because I already own a very similar one, the discontinued Moments by Yves Rocher. I also used two bottles of Mercadona’s Rose Nude years ago, which is very similar and has excellent performance for a fractioned price. Scent 6.5/10, Longevity 10/10, Sillage 7/10, Value for money 7/10, Versatility 8/10, Packaging 7.5/10. Would I buy it again? No, I didn’t.
I tested this fragrance in a huge perfumery and was so fascinated that I bought a 75 ml bottle. It has something nineties and minimalist about it. I find it delicate, feminine, and floral. On my skin, the freesias dominate with a touch of magnolia. It’s pretty, daytime-appropriate, and suitable for warm weather.
Yes, it smells of roses—fresher and powdery, but noticeable. I’m still testing it, but I agree it’s a bit strident; it smells clean, but a ‘crafted’ clean. For me, clean has a simpler quality. By the end of the day, the scent fades but remains, now more woody and more pleasant than in the morning. I don’t have a clear opinion yet and will keep testing it. Edit: I’ve continued using it and like it more and more! I feel a delicious freshness and less rose scent. When I first atomised it, it was pure rose, but it’s not anymore; I don’t know why 🤔. Curious, but this reinforces that one must give perfumes more chances if they don’t convince at first.
It smells very soft and powdery; I’ve used it a lot. At first, I absolutely love it, but eventually, it flattens out and becomes tiring. It’s wearable for daily use, and people tell me I smell good, yet I end up trying other things. I’ve been using its Mercadona clone for years, which is incredibly identical, but now I smell it everywhere and haven’t used it in ages.
It’s the ideal perfume to gift as a signature scent to a woman over 35 or a young girl, but here I see it as more formal; it’s rose, very floral and direct, yet nothing creamy or fruity, which gives it seriousness. It’s perfect for gifting to a mother; clean, elegant, and long-lasting 😉 I bought it for my mother for Three Kings’ Day, and she says it lasts well.
It smells quite feminine. In the classification game, it’s undoubtedly feminine, but not through sensuality. Some say it smells like a pretty, innocent, neat, and delicate girl, and I agree. I was gifted a sample, and it reminded me of Mercadona’s Rose Nude. Of course, there are quality differences, but not so great that I can’t admire the clone’s good work. The opening didn’t suit me much, I think due to the forced-sounding lychee, but the development is pleasant. I focused on the rose, which is very well crafted, and the other flowers and base notes elevate it in a simple, elegant way. There are no undercurrents; from the bottle to the end, it’s transparent in its simplicity (not to be confused with simplicity). Decent projection and good longevity. Curiously, I don’t see it for older women, but it depends on personality. I liked it. They say it’s trendy, and I don’t deny it’s noticeable, but I find it pleasing and classier than other modern offers. Recommended.
I adore it; I tried it at a counter and my arm smelled of it all day, so I had to go back and buy it 😅. I love all its phases; I feel clean, fresh, and elegant. I always get compliments, and it lasts a long time!!! The price is high, but those 75ml are worth it 🥰.
The opening is exactly as described, but in the heart, I only notice the magnolia and the valley lily, ending in that woody part where the white flower never disappears, leaving it fine, elegant, and clean. I don’t detect the amber. In summary, it’s elegant, well-blended, with a great trail and longevity. Recommended.
It’s a supremely feminine, clean, and elegant aroma. I believe it can be worn both for everyday use and special occasions. It has an air of class and distinction; honestly, I feel very elegant when I wear it. I love it!
I love it; it smells super fresh with a very delicate touch of white roses. I’d wear it in autumn or summer. I had it saved to try it, and in the end, it convinced me. It smells of ‘rich girl’ and sophistication to me; I feel like a king’s daughter. It’s youthful and invites freshness. I like that it lasts. It’s distinctive and uncommon, but I see it more for daytime; I don’t think it’s for the evening.
This perfume confirms my trend and fascination with florals; Chloé is pure flower, fresh roses, very natural and delicate. I feel it’s timeless, reminding me of the scented funeral wreaths from my childhood. Suitable for anyone wishing to wear it, from young girls to mature women, undoubtedly of very good taste. Although it makes me feel in my comfort zone, that doesn’t stop it from being beautiful. The opening isn’t as lovely as the dry-down: it’s strong but disappears in a minute. In the dry-down, the magic begins—good longevity, moderate trail, and I’m not bothered by reapplying it during the day. I consider the price a bit high.
What a beautiful perfume 🥹 Chloé never misses. Their fragrances are designed for a refined, classy, and very clean woman. Chloe EDP is one of the few that doesn’t follow the ‘less is more’ rule; here, ‘more is more’ applies. It’s ambivalent: it’s fresh yet perfect for winter too. It strikes the right balance between floral, green, and sweet. For an EDP, I’d ask for more longevity; on my skin, it lasts a maximum of 4 hours. The bottle is gorgeous with silver details. Beautiful; I give it 9/10 for its projection.
An elegant and delicate rose perfume. If you have a refined taste and know what you’re looking for, this could be your next signature scent. You’ll love it if you prefer something floral and sophisticated, without being overly sweet or heavy. It could fit your search for a daily perfume that doesn’t lose its class and quality. It possesses a classic yet modern elegance. Its blend of rose, peony, honey, and musk is fresh and floral, yet has that depth that makes it special, much like Elie Saab Le Parfum. Additionally, it’s an accessible option for everyday wear without sacrificing sophistication.
Finally, I got my hands on this one; it’s a gorgeous, unique addition to my collection. While I own several rose scents, the initial lychee burst is quite sharp for me, though it quickly mellows into delicious florals. I barely detect any wood, which is a blessing; it smells slightly of talc and is very personal—I almost feel I need to bathe in it to get a proper hold of it. I’ll let it macerate for a few months to see if it improves, as the trail isn’t wide enough at the moment and no one has commented on it. For the price, I expected more; I bought the 75ml, and I don’t think I’ll repurchase just due to the cost and longevity. It reminds me greatly of Orlane’s Bouquets Autour de la rose, which shares similar notes, though I prefer the latter. Despite being an EDT, it lasts all day with good projection, at a fraction of the price of Chloé.
I don’t like it at all. I bought it blind and it was a big mistake. It’s very cloying, not in the sense of being sweet, but a scent that sticks to your soul and doesn’t go away for many hours, very heavy, like it’s powdery.
And there it continues, becoming a true classic. It may be liked more or less, but this Chloe is a powdery floral that will withstand the test of time because it’s timeless, untouched by fashion. It’s delicate, elegant, very chic (house trademark) and perfect for all ages. My nose perceives a softly fruity and citrusy opening, perhaps due to the lychee, which is soon nuanced by the freshness of the peony. It’s a small, well-tended garden, innocent, with rose bushes among indeterminate white flowers. The amber encloses a clean, radiant, and very feminine perfume. It’s the perfume May Welland would undoubtedly wear. I understand its success; it presents itself as a gentle aroma, a little shy, perfect for spring mornings. Despite being well-constructed and pleasant, like many new perfumes, I feel it has a personality that is too docile for my taste, although it’s not timid at all, because you can tell where it’s going. I like sniffing it on other people, but I don’t see it for myself.
I’ve been wearing it non-stop for a week. I didn’t know it and doubted I’d like it, but now I think it’s as good as a fragrance can be: clean, feminine, just sweet enough, and fresh. It smells like a walk in the park with the night’s dew on it 😂 I hate being poetic but that’s exactly what it is. I believe it’s the lily note that evokes that fresh, soapy crispness. Fresh, wet flowers, slightly sweet, very clean. I bought the 125ml size so it will last a while, although if I keep using it like this, perhaps not as long. I agree it’s similar to Delina La Rosee.
Does anyone else find a resemblance to Issey’s L’eau from 1992?
I was pleasantly surprised; I added it to my collection because it’s a brand classic. It reminds me of walking through a rose garden after rain, with wet petals on the buds. It’s a fresh, wet, delicate rose aroma. I imagine a young woman from the romantic letter-writing era, not vintage, but evoking a romantic woman.
A delicate, timeless fragrance, a classic must-have. Its balance makes it ideal for quiet equinox afternoons. It suits any age, isn’t invasive, with a moderate trail and light projection. I see it as perfect for blending with other scents. The best part: I just bought a 100ml set with cream and a wallet-sized perfume atomiser at an incredible price, a third of the real value, cheaper than an 80ml Zara which has risen 20% here. Re-edit: I used it for two days and it’s very fine and delicate but too light. Short longevity, doesn’t seem like an EDP, barely a perfumed water. What a pity.
It’s almost identical to Montblanc’s Lady Emblem, but this Chloe is softer, more delicate, ethereal, diaphanous, exquisite, and elegant. The Montblanc is more potent and long-lasting. I’ll have to combine them thanks to my friend who gifted me the Montblanc. It’s a touch of refinement and beauty.
What I love most about this perfume, more than the scent itself, is its longevity.
Chloe is versatility and femininity in a bottle: floral, flirtatious, neat, and sparkling. On my skin, the peony stands out more than the rose, while the lychee adds a citrusy touch that really enhances it. The woody base is minimal, lasting without being heavy. It’s an excellent wardrobe staple, perfect for the office, and a great blind buy or gift. It lasts 6-7 hours with moderate projection, and the bottle is beautiful. A total success.
So feminine and sweet, floral yet incredibly soft, nothing invasive. It arrived in a mini size and I fell in love at first sight; I knew I had to own it to enjoy it without doubt. It’s an easy-to-please all-rounder; the freesia, peony, and lily mix perfectly without rose notes, creating a youthful, flirtatious, and feminine floral scent. I’ll definitely buy it again when this bottle runs out.
