It smells ‘nice’ but doesn’t last a whisper… it’s a pleasant white floral scent in the line of Armani My Way or L’Interdit… but certainly more common than those, and far too light to be worn as an image for Lady Gaga.
A very common aroma, nothing innovative. As they say, it smells like a thousand other fragrances we’ve been able to try. A slightly sweet neroli and nothing else. It smells nice but doesn’t stand out; in fact, I’d say it smells like a cheap women’s fragrance. I remembered which scent it reminded me of, and it’s Zapping. At least in the dry-down it resembles it quite closely.
If you tell me it’s one of those Zara fruity perfumes, I’ll believe it… it’s truly a light fragrance without soul or body, typical of those mass-market, cheap perfumes. It reminds me of Zara’s Violet Blossom; I must admit that Violet Blossom has more body and better performance than this. I love Zara perfumes and they’re not bad for the price, but this is an expensive perfume that smells like Zara.
I don’t know how many fragrances with this structure I’ve tried this year… Voce Viva tells us nothing new. It has a fresh, sparkling opening, a heart of white flowers with citrus notes where neroli stands out, and a base that becomes sweeter, creamier and more vanilla-like over time. You’ll certainly recognise it. Pleasant, perhaps even cheerful and sunny, but no more. A new launch that has bored me. I have no doubt the perfumers did a good job with the brief given to them, but the idea behind Valentino for this scent feels too clichéd now. Moderate sillage and lasts about six hours on my skin. Scent 5.5/10 Longevity 6.5/10 Sillage 7/10 Value for money 4/10 Versatility 7/10 Packaging 7/10 Would I buy again? No, I didn’t buy it.
Total disappointment. Mediocre fragrance. Money wasted.
It’s average; it could please many people but doesn’t break any mould. It’s a typical gift perfume that rarely misses, unless the recipient can’t stand gardenia. Easy to wear, but it doesn’t surprise for anything in particular.
A floral, citrusy, and sweet fragrance. You can tell it’s a blend of citrus with orange blossom, plus a touch of vanilla and tonka bean that gives it sweetness. It’s fresh and soft, not overpowering. Smells lovely, in the style of florals like L’Interdit.
When I first tried it, I got a scent similar to one I already own and thought it might smell different since I was wearing a mask. But once I got home, that scent became more noticeable, and it immediately reminded me of Girl Of Now Forever I already have at home. It’s the same ripe, sweet fruit note, but this one lasts longer and feels quite refined.
Almost identical to Libre by YSL. Same old. Bland and simplistic. Good for daily use at any time.
Liked it. I think I’d buy it for daily wear if I were in a different mood; it seems ideal for work. Found it quite rich, though I’m looking for something a bit more punchy or addictive. It didn’t feel like any of the ones mentioned here; rather, it reminded me of 212 or Lady Million, but softer, in that style. I sensed an amber note even though it’s not advertised, which makes it feel more mature and feminine. I’d say it suits anyone from their twenties upwards and is very wearable for any occasion except when you want to stand out. It’s pleasant, didn’t overwhelm me at all, hits the sweet spot of smelling rich without lingering too long, so in an office setting it wouldn’t bother others.
I received a sample of this little perfume. It’s not bad; it’s a basic fresh floral and slightly sweet opening. After a few minutes on my skin, it seemed very similar to CK In 2U Her due to the bergamot and vanilla finish, although Valentino brings that gardenia floral that makes it more consistent. Since both are so similar, I still prefer CK.
It’s a light, elegant perfume associated with a certain age, but any woman can wear it. It smells fresh and sweet, but over time, on my skin, it smells like soap. Literally, classic L’Oréal soap. I don’t dislike it because it’s a very pleasant clean scent. I think it’s for everyday wear, subtle and delicate, suitable for any season but especially spring and autumn. I like to keep it in my wardrobe as a backup and it reminds me of the sweetness of Cacharel’s Yes I Am Glorious. Worth it if you find it at a good price.
At first sniff, it seemed like a familiar scent. A while later, I remembered it smelled like baby wipes. It’s fine for being at home; it’s a pleasant clean scent, but for other occasions, I think there are perfumes that stand out and convey much more.
In theory, this perfume should enchant me with orange blossom, gardenia, and tonka bean. But Voce Viva confuses me. I find the quality and performance lacking. The opening is very alcoholic, and you have to wait a minute to feel that floral vanilla scent that others do better, like L’Eclat, Libre, or Alive. With such a good recipe and the right moment, it just didn’t gel. It smells like nameless white flowers and a bland sweetness. The worst part: it doesn’t last nearly long enough on the skin. The redeeming feature is the bottle, which is lovely. It’s harmless, bordering on boring. Perhaps it serves to gift if you don’t know someone’s taste, or if they like Lady Gaga, who promoted it. Like Gaga, it promises much but delivers little. I don’t see the ‘Viva’ in this ‘Voce’. It’s an apathetic whisper.
A lovely, comfortable, and perfectly normal perfume for everyday wear. The opening is fresh due to the neroli, but then the white florals and vanilla add sweetness. I wish the citrus part lasted longer… It’s very comfortable for daily life, but nothing magical. Suitable for all ages, but I see it as perfect for a girl aged 15 to 25.
Voce Viva by Valentino: ultra-feminine, sophisticated yet unpretentious. It’s a white floral with a vanilla twist, sweet but not cloying, simple and pleasant for those around you. Versatile for day or work, perhaps not for a night party but perfect for a casual outing. Moderate performance and slightly high price. I’d love to gift it or receive it. After a few hours, it faintly resembles YSL’s Libre. For lovers of elegant, slightly sweet white perfumes, like Ralph Lauren’s Woman.
We join the summer citrus notes, but Voce Viva has a very sweet finish. Ideal for those who love sweetness but struggle with extreme heat. I loved it this summer, especially at night, as it blends the citrus opening with ginger for a summery touch. It’s not one of those crazy fresh scents; I use it for dinners or work, and my colleagues have loved it. It lasts well, but the trail is weak; it’s more for enjoying than making an impression. The worst part is the price… I wouldn’t buy it again at what I paid because there are better, cheaper sweet citrus options, but if I find it on offer, I’ll repurchase.
It’s a sweeter version of Libre, but lacks the projection and longevity. They’re very similar. Good for daytime if you want to take it with you, otherwise, just buy the original Libre. If it feels heavy, try the EDT. The sweet touch is nice, but for what it offers, it’s not worth the price. Sorry Valentino, I’m sticking with my Donna.
The dry down is identical to YSL’s Black Opium, but softer and less aggressive. Although I didn’t include it in my pyramid, I clearly detect the coffee note.
I love it. At first it might seem like another perfume of the same, a copy, but you have to give it a few minutes and oh surprise! Some delicious well-combined notes appear. What attracts me in perfumes is identifying the notes, so the fragrance becomes more interesting. I can feel the freshness of the ginger and citrus, along with the vanilla and such delicate white flowers. There’s also a hint of wood but very little, which keeps it sweet but light. I adore its development and transformation in just a few minutes. It has very good fixation and longevity, I don’t know yet. I’ll let you know later.
I bought it for a fantastic deal, but reading the reviews made me hesitate. Total surprise: it lasts incredibly long, projects well, and I’ve even had people jealous of it. It smells like Libre but sweeter. Sometimes we forget that every skin smells different.
Caramel and vanilla from the tonka bean, very warm, ideal for winter and autumn, and much more appropriate for night. It’s very long-lasting, with medium sillage. I’d rate it as a good perfume, but nothing original, that’s the downside. It smells sweet, warm and even a bit sticky. There are many similar ones, that’s the flaw. Now, the perfume is of good quality. I can’t distinguish citrus or flowers, only vanilla and tonka bean. I wouldn’t buy it again because besides, it’s expensive. 😘😘😘
I’m a bit confused, what I smell most is toasted caramel and something of coffee.
Although they say it’s ‘more of the same’ and without anything special, for me it’s the classic for everything and I always get compliments. The projection is brutal, it’s noticeable on me, and I always smell those white flowers with ginger and an embracing sweetness. When my boyfriend gets close he says ‘you smell so good’ and with that Voce Viva has already won me over. I recommend it a thousand times over.
I adore it, it smells delicious, it’s super versatile and projects a lot. I’m obsessed!
I love it, I feel feminine and elegant with it 🥰
When people add a perfume to ‘this fragrance reminds me of’, they don’t necessarily mean it’s identical; they might just be relating it to an olfactive family, so don’t be too strict about that. Voce Viva has a strong orange blossom, vanilla and some woody accords, very soft with warm nuances. For me, the orange blossom is easy to distinguish. It smells warm, sweet, slightly powdery and with a hint of anise. I’m not sure if that flower actually smells like anise, but that’s how I quickly identify it. Voce Viva is a lovely perfume for everyday wear and also very nice for autumn and spring. Warm and sweet, but wearable and versatile. It reminded me a lot of Olympea Solar due to that orange blossom note, though only in the opening, as Voce Viva isn’t a beach or tropical perfume; it aims to be an ally for daily life, nothing extraordinary but practical and lovely.
A versatile, easy-to-wear, warm yet sophisticated perfume. It’s a very pleasant aroma. You can really detect the orange blossom and the citrus… the base is quite sweet due to the vanilla and tonka bean. There’s a powdery touch that adds sophistication… surely it’s the musk. Very happy with this latest purchase. I recommend buying blind. I doubt anyone could dislike this scent.
Voce Viva by Valentino is a citrus, floral and powdery fragrance. The opening is citrusy and creamy, with that creaminess coming from floral notes of orange blossom and gardenia. The citrus notes last a good while and are bolstered by a hint of ginger. After about an hour, the scent remains citrusy but also powdery and slightly woody. I find this fragrance more suitable for daytime wear than evening; it’s elegant but not for romantic occasions, better suited for work environments like the office, casual outings, meetings, etc., as it’s not invasive or cloyingly sweet. It could be worn in any season and might even become a signature scent. I’ve seen comparisons to Armani My Way, but to me it reminds me more of YSL Libre and a little of Eros Pour Femme, leaning more towards citrus than white florals, though that’s a matter of perception. Longevity was over 10 hours, with a moderate sillage, at least noticeable during the first two hours.
YSL Libre dupe…
They gave it to me as a gift and I was FASCINATED! Now I understand why: it has very citrusy notes, my favourites.
I know there are many similarities, but I just love this one. Since I smelled it, it conveyed so much peace. It smells elegant 😍 I LOVE IT! I would buy it again and again. It’s almost impossible for someone to dislike it, so I consider it a very safe blind buy.
It’s elegant, feminine, citrusy, floral, and powdery but not invasive. The sandalwood gives it that warmth and sensuality ideal for night and cold days; the citrus complements the gardenia and bergamot, giving it a very pleasant delicacy. It lasted all day, very good fixation.
Ultra feminine, with a balance between fresh citrus and sweet. It should have more hype because I LOVE it and my husband always says how good I smell. It’s not a bomb, but it is a perfume that makes you feel elegant and feminine. I also own Libre, with which it’s often compared, and frankly, they don’t resemble each other.
I love it! It was a gift. Although I’m not a vanilla person as I can’t stand things too sweet, this combination with citrus makes it very pleasant and light, so I loved it from the moment I smelled it without knowing the notes. It’s tremendously feminine and elegant.
I’m looking for sweet floral-fruit fragrances that don’t give me a headache. This one is rich and very feminine. Note: it’s not for everyone. It’s pretty and rich: starts citrusy with an enveloping touch of flowers, sparkling. After half an hour, it dries down to a slight sweet finish, nothing cloying, making it more lasting and characterful for an elegant girl. A fresh scent for daily life, the office, or an evening out without being annoying or having a strong trail. Honestly, it’s not the kind of perfume that makes you sigh ‘waoooo’. My first impression was ‘waoooo, it smells like Zara’s Hibiscus’. The dry-down is very similar, though it changes to floral with a slight sweet point. If you have the Zara one, it gives you an idea; it’s not identical but there is a similarity. Zara is more economical and lasts 6-7 hours on skin and longer on clothes. The Valentino lasts on clothes until washed and on skin for over 12 hours from 5 pm until the next shower, without the sweetness being annoying but rather adding elegance. It lasts in hair until washed.
Pleasant at first, but as soon as it dries on my skin, it smells of pure ginger. Not for me.
Exquisite. I tried it thanks to a friend and was so fascinated that I bought it for my sister. It reminds me of Givenchy’s ‘L’Interdit’ (2022 batch) due to that white floral and citrus side. The difference is that this one is sweeter due to the vanilla and the citrus plays a lesser role, whereas the other is more citrusy and, in my opinion, has better aromatic quality. My sister gets all-day wear on it, though it varies by skin; I don’t get as much, but it easily reaches five hours. I recommend it for being very versatile: special occasions or for school/work. Not for much heat, yes for autumn or spring if it’s under 30 degrees.
I adore this scent: sweet with a fresh touch that smells clean yet sweet. Nothing loud or brash. The only drawback is that it lasts a mere whisper; it doesn’t bother me to reapply—in fact, I love doing so—but at this price, I’d go bankrupt if I wanted it to be my signature. It lasts a maximum of four hours, very soft and without a sillage.
Latest addition to my collection: I loved it at first, but now I detect something synthetic and odd, typical of bergamot scents that have happened to me before. Ideal for a sunny spring day without much heat, perfect for the office or enclosed spaces. The longevity is good, especially on clothes. It’s luminous, with noticeable citrus and white flowers set against a rich vanilla base. The bottle fits perfectly with its gold tones and simple yet versatile design. I wouldn’t buy it again as I already have others that serve the same function and I prefer them.
