Descripción
My Way by Giorgio Armani is a floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2020, this composition was created by Carlos Benaïm and Bruno Jovanovic. The top notes unfold the freshness of orange blossom and bergamot; the heart reveals the elegance of neroli and Indian jasmine; while the base notes land with the warmth of Madagascar vanilla, white musk, and Virginia cedar.

Vulgar, I don’t like it. It’s a sharp citrus floral that smells like a catalogue perfume. I’m not crazy enough to buy it.
Smells to me like sun cream, but not like summer. It’s sharp and annoying, strange because based on the notes I thought I’d like it.
Starts very citrusy, like green zest squeezed on the nose, then sweetens and the nard and jasmine emerge, powerful nocturnal flowers. Finishes with a sweet, animalic musk that dominates everything. I find it too musky and a bit dirty; it’s not elegant, but vulgar and streetwise, scandalous like a great Indian city. It defines its own style, offering nothing to anyone.
Smells of orange blossom and jasmine; I tried a dupe and hunted down the original for a year. It reminds me of Orange Coast at night, among orange trees and gardens. For summer it’s very penetrating and for winter very cold, perhaps due to the musk that stands out and makes it more sour than sweet. The nard with vanilla gives a solar sweetness. It has nothing to do with Yes, but it’s its little brother: an immaculate woman who smells clean. In a heatwave it’s very invasive, perfect for autumn, spring and summer nights. It’s pricey, but worth it for that Mediterranean scent.
Smells like those peach and orange gummy hearts; it’s fun and elegant despite being ‘cheesy’. Sometimes I get tired of that rubbery effect, other times I need it and use it a lot. It’s very long-lasting, though it doesn’t reach the height of the Parfum, which is an iris wonder. Now I must buy Nectar.
You have to understand it: you either love it or hate it. It’s a current vintage scent, with aromas from the 80s-90s when florals were sharp. Smells of flowers without vanilla or woods, with a realistic jasmine and nard base. If you’re a pure floral lover, you’ll adore it; if you’re seeking gourmand scents, it’s not for you.
I love it: delicate, floral and feminine, a subtle goddess of spring. Smells of white flowers, no vanilla or wood, and wraps you in an optimistic, clean mood. It doesn’t last long, but it’s not heavy or needs a trail. I wear it in the mornings to feel pretty and elegant without shouting. It’s a new classic.
A tender, delicate floral, nothing invasive 🪷; it’s my favourite because others are dense or sharp, whereas Nectar is very simple. This has the ideal balance ❣️.
The fruitiest floral I’ve ever tried, haha; smells like mango and banana bathed in honey with just a hint of bergamot; I don’t detect the florals, but it’s delicious.
I like it, but it’s too strong for the heat and makes me dizzy, so I save it for winter where it’s perfect 🥹.
Its scent isn’t difficult to like; I think many girls will enjoy it. I’m 28 and I’m not a fan of very sweet or citrusy fragrances as I can’t tolerate them. This is very pretty, suitable for daytime use in spring or summer, not above 30 degrees. It’s a nice floral; depending on how much you apply, it stays delicate. Very cheerful, perfect for going out and feeling pretty, delicate, sparkling yet with character, paired with a casual dress. It’s floral, the fruits give a nice citrus touch accompanied by flowers that make it delicate and rich, with a slight sweetness that doesn’t bother and a subtle musky note. It has a very good trail. It lasts on my skin until I shower and on clothes until they’re washed. People can smell it from over a metre away. I agree it’s not new or unique, but it’s very rich, pretty, delicate, and you can’t miss the opportunity to wear it.
I’ve been testing it for two days. Today I wore it in the car and my son noticed a grape bubblegum scent; yes, its opening is fruity and juicy, although it doesn’t contain fruit. It’s a simple fragrance that doesn’t disgust anyone, cheerful and daytime. I’m still testing its longevity.
Some time ago, in the shopping centre, a sales assistant gave me a scented paper to test; I was in a rush and took it. Days later, even with just the little paper, I could perceive it better: exquisite, with the sweetness of vanilla and fresh, wet nardos, followed by a citrus base of bergamot and orange blossom. It’s wonderful, sweet, fresh, sensual, and feminine. It lasts 6-7 hours on skin or hair and days on clothes. It has a lovely trail. It can be worn at any time of year except the hottest summer days.
My Way is hugely pleasant for almost anyone. It’s a white floral with a vanilla touch, a ‘mass appeal’ fragrance with good projection. It’s a charming creation by Armani for women that never fails to attract compliments. I recommend My Way for daily wear, especially if you’re looking for freshness and cleanliness from the floral accord. Its versatility makes it ideal for any occasion, maintaining a sophisticated yet accessible air.
Ferraud Paris Blanc Pure is the same… I don’t know why this perfume isn’t on Fragrantica…
It’s a pleasant scent, though I don’t think it’s for someone very young as it projects strongly – more for a woman than a teenager. I’d wear it at the office: it’s long-lasting, has good strength, and isn’t overpowering.
Very versatile; I wear it for any occasion, even when going shopping. It’s not overpowering, has a certain citrus note, and it’s a perfect fragrance. 😍
I tested the sample at home and my boyfriend gave it a 7.4. He says it’s subtle, floral, perhaps a bit light, but it’s fine. It also smells good to me; I find it more suitable for daytime and quite delicate.
I received a sample some time ago and for me, it’s a definite no. It made me feel dizzy and gave me a headache; the nardos are very sharp. Plus, it lasts for hours. To each their own, but it makes me dizzy and is extremely heavy (even though I usually like intense fragrances).
Wow, a colleague noticed it on me and left me speechless – what a sexy scent! It left a trail all over the shop and drove everyone mad, not because of her beauty, but because the fragrance is simply criminal. Girls, if you want to turn heads wherever you go, conquer the world with this! You’ll thank me later 😉
My wife’s sister left me a My Way on a trip, so now I have this and the Lattafa Emaan which replicates it. At first, they smell identical, but after a while you can tell the difference: the Emaan is a bit more synthetic, stronger, and has a hint of sweetness and even something animalic. The My Way, being macerated, always lets the florals dominate. I see it as more versatile and inoffensive, whereas the other is stronger, more characterful, and leans towards formal or dressed-up occasions.
I was given a sample at a perfumerie and I adored it; I didn’t buy it because of the price but I ended up wanting it. I managed to get a mini bottle now and… I don’t like it xD. It’s too strong at first; the first time I wear it, it smells like lavender, but lavender stuffed into my brain. The trail at a distance is more pleasant, but it’s not working for me. I regret spending the money. Do not recommend buying it blindly.
Florals have never really appealed to me, but this was the first one that won me over with its sweet, clean, and youthful touch. I love it and recommend it, but do try it on your skin before buying.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a pretty perfume, lasts decently (6-7 hours), and projects well. The problem is that it smells like Tutti Frutti bubblegum with neroli; it’s very linear and basic. With a trained nose accustomed to complex fragrances, it might come across as rather ‘meh’.
It’s a very flattering perfume that lasts for hours on the skin. Once it dries down, the neroli and musk are very noticeable. It can be worn daily. This is already my second refill.
Feminine and delicate, yet strong at the same time. Very potent; you can detect the white flowers and cedar, although the vanilla comes through less. I find it a bit soapy, with a scent reminiscent of soap.
It’s elegant and has a woody note that makes it ideal for over 30s. It lasts forever and doesn’t fatigue me at all. I like it for any time of year.
Very rich, feminine, creamy, floral, and super fruity. To me, it’s better than the Intense version. The other one elevates the notes a bit and they smell similar, but the regular My Way is perfectly balanced. The longevity is top-notch.
It makes me feel dizzy and it’s an absolute beast of a scent. I’ve heard it so much that it now gives me the same aversion every time. Furthermore, it’s nothing new; it smells quite dated.
It smells like you’ve stepped into a flower garden. It lasts a long time, leaves a lovely trail, and the notes blend well. I see it as more unisex, though with a feminine leaning.
If someone can’t smell the neroli, it’s because they’ve already lost their sense of smell xD. Besides, once oxidised this lasts a lifetime: my girlfriend wears it and when she returns after 8 to 10 hours I can still feel the perfume as a cloud around her.
At no point did I find the floral part, nor the neroli that is mentioned so much, nor much less the field of fresh flowers. It smells like Bubbaloo bubblegum, then it becomes vanilla, but everything is very artificial. I wouldn’t buy it.
It’s a perfume for those who use generic body mists and want to take a step towards something a bit more elegant. Simple, linear, bubblegum.
I really like its opening: delicious citrus, nothing piercing, with delicious fruits. When it dries down I still like it, but less so, because what predominates over everything else is the neroli. I like how it smells dry, but I feel it’s more serious, more lady-like. Good longevity. My son and my partner like it quite a bit.
What a lovely fragrance. They gave it to me as a sample and it gave me vibes of some Chanel perfume: fresh, white floral. It brings back pleasant memories. I detect neroli, jasmine, and that citrusy touch with a slightly woody base. Something elegant and sparkling. I think I’d be brave enough to wear it.
I simply love it: it’s fresh and the white floral and citrus notes predominate. Sincerely, it reminds me of a Barbie perfume, only I can’t recall the brand. On my skin it lasts 5-6 hours, although I don’t mind reapplying. It’s almost winter and it’s hot, so in this climate it’s perfect. As a note, I’m 35 and I feel it’s youthful and elegant, but if the girls here see it as matronly, it will depend on the pH.
I’m fascinated by perfumes with white flowers, but thanks to this I discovered I hate neroli, which is what stands out most on my skin. It’s one of the ones I dislike the least; it becomes immensely strong and piercing, to the point of being overwhelming and unbearable. I would definitely not recommend buying it blind. 2/10.
This perfume is madness in terms of scent, trail, and longevity. It’s neroli wrapped in bergamot and vanilla: floral, citrusy, and vanilla. Very lovely and elegant; I’m not sure if it’s for summer, but for mid-season it’s wonderful, even for going out at night. For neroli fans, it’s a guaranteed blind buy.
They gave me a sample of My Way Néctar and it dazzled me so much that I bought the bottle and ordered decants of the original and the other flankers. I discovered I love neroli, although I hated My Way Parfum. This first version also took my fancy, but on my skin it doesn’t last at all: two hours and it’s skin-scent only. What a pity, because I truly loved it.
Who doesn’t fall in love with a good neroli? This was a blind discovery at a perfumerie, without checking notes or anything, just by the scent. It caught me off guard: a sweetness I didn’t expect, as I hate flowers (except neroli, which is my life). Turns out I wear neroli now and I’m a total fan.
