Oh dear! My first negative review. What danger! It is a familiar, soft aroma with overly sweet white flowers and a loud white musk note that wavers between air freshener and drugstore shower gel. If it cost four times less, I would be honest, but paying what it does is a rip-off; you pay for the bottle, not the perfume. It is tacky for Armani fans, no more and no less.

Oh dear, my first review and it’s already negative. What a danger! It’s a perfume with a familiar, soft scent, featuring sweet white flowers but very artificial, with a loud white musk note that flickers between air freshener and drugstore shower gel. If it cost four times less it would be honest, but paying what it does for this is a rip-off. You pay for the bottle, not the perfume. It’s tacky for Armani fans, no more, no less.

  • DOS GARDENIAS FOR ME Light by Gioia is a yellow perfume that has arrived this spring-summer to match the trend of vibrant colours. It embodies summer light: it needs air, sun and warmth. It smells of the beach, though without coconut or tiare water, but rather with that hot sand felt on the skin. It has no sunscreen, but does offer a creamy sensation thanks to the gardenias. I don’t use it daily because the scent is very linear and I find it boring. Furthermore, I only find it in 100 ml, which overwhelms me; my favourites are the 30 or 15 ml sizes to try without commitment. I adore gardenias; I visit them in July in the gardens of my city, and this is the fragrance that comes closest to their natural scent.

  • Light di Gioia is a yellow perfume for the spring-summer season, ideal to accompany this colour trend. It represents summer’s light; it needs fresh air, sun and heat. It smells of the beach without coconut or water, just hot sand, a sensation achieved through sight and touch. There is no sunscreen, but a creamy feeling from the gardenias. It is not for daily use, as its linear aroma bores me. Moreover, it only comes in 100 ml, which worries me; I prefer 30 or 15 ml to try a fragrance without commitment. I adore gardenias; I visit them in July at their peak. It is the one that comes closest to the natural scent of these flowers, and that is why I am glad to have it.

  • I tried the novelty to enrich my nose and the blog, as the aesthetics did not attract me. However, it is very pleasant, a lovely surprise. A clean aroma with my favourite flowers, jasmine and gardenia, used but in light versions, without strong notes or much wood. It is similar to Alien for using few good notes. It lasts six hours with a moderate trail. Suitable for any season, at 40 or 15 degrees. It is not the brand’s masterpiece, but a good option for light jasmine and gardenia scents.

  • Testing the new release to spice up my nose and the blog, as the bottle’s aesthetics didn’t initially spark much interest. However, it is delightful—a lovely surprise. It’s a clean scent; I adore jasmine and gardenia, even if they are common, as here they appear in light versions without strong notes or heavy wood, reminiscent of Alien for using so few but excellent notes. It lasts about six hours with moderate sillage. Suitable for any season, wearable at 40 or 15 degrees. Not the brand’s masterpiece, but a good option for light jasmine and gardenia lovers.

  • It is always liked but lasts a short time. When I smelled it, I thought it had linden and mimosa, but the ingredients surprised me; my imagination failed me. As Edu says, it is very expensive just for the jasmine; there are thousands of affordable options, such as Gres’s Cabotine. I applaud perfume houses using few ingredients; since Alien, it seems to be the trend.

  • It reminds me of Sun di Gioia: without the creaminess, but with that enveloping bouquet of white flowers and woods. It is feminine and delicious for spring and summer. It lasts half an hour with moderate projection. It is not citrusy like the classic Gioias, so I invite those looking for something different for the heat to try it on skin.

  • I was surprised by the strong jasmine aroma, which is more linear and slightly monothematic, with a retro touch that brought back distant memories. I liked it and it suits me well; the musk enhances the formula, which is not too solar or summery, nor sophisticated, but it is acceptable and of good quality. Paired with Lady Million or La Lune by Dolce & Gabbana, it is delicious. I bought it at a very good price, which is strange for an Armani product.

  • I was surprised by the strong, linear and slightly monothematic jasmine, something retro that brings back distant memories. I liked it and it suits me; the musk improves the formula. It is not solar or summery, nor sophisticated or complex, but acceptable and of good quality. Combined with Lady Million or La Lune by Dolce & Gabbana, it is delicious. I bought it at a good price, which is rare for Armani.

  • It is fresh yet sweet and feminine, warm and perfect for spring, summer and autumn. On my skin it is brilliant and almost my personal scent, though after a year it has become boring; sometimes it feels heavy. It is not a unique aroma; there are better and cheaper options with the same notes. I would buy it again if I fell in love with it once more, as it is a fragrance of love and hate.

  • It seems fresh yet sweet and feminine. It is very warm, ideal for late spring, summer and early autumn. On my skin, it smells wonderful; I use it frequently and it is almost my personal scent. However, after more than a year, I have become quite bored with it. Sometimes it feels heavy and is not a distinctive fragrance; if you are looking for these notes, there are better and cheaper options. I would buy it again if I fell in love with it once more, because it is a fragrance of love and hate.

Flowerhead, Flowerhead, Flowerhead… It’s very similar! So rich, aromatic, sparkling and feminine! Just like Byredo’s Flowerhead. I’m fascinated by both!

Flowerhead… what a delight! Very aromatic, sparkling and feminine. I am so fascinated by it that it reminds me of Byredo’s Flowerhead; both are my favourites.

  • I adore jasmine and creamy gardenia; its cleanliness and exquisiteness are unmistakable. Yes, it is simple, but that simplicity is what makes it so good.
