I would love to try it unfortunately in Chile new perfumes take a long time to arrive. A few months ago My Way Floral appeared.
One of the fruitiest My Way fragrances to date I would say this is the most youthful and wearable of all. By ‘wearable’ I mean it is very easy to use without feeling overwhelming as sometimes the neroli notes can become invasive. What I appreciate most is the fruity opening charge even more than the pear; I appreciate some tropical notes like passion fruit (only in the opening and very fleeting). Among the floral accords of the heart phase orange blossom stands out more than the other white flowers lending it a fresh and clean character. It seems more ‘pretty girl’ or ‘girly’ style than the previous ones; it can be worn by a teenager up to a mature woman. The base notes come out after an hour: white musk with clean air the cedar as wood takes precedence and the vanilla is very shy. Particularly I tried it in winter and I find it weak faint with a very soft trail. Even though it projects widely it softens as the hours pass. It lasts me at most 5-6 hours. I do not want to be unfair I will let it mature until spring to try it again. Finally it is very spring-like and goes well in summer due to its fruity and delicate characteristics. The bottle is beautiful a 10/10 packaging. For now I give the essence a 6/10 for its performance. The other flankers I own behave well in low temperatures this one has been the exception. I think this is because this scent is directed more towards warm seasons than cold ones.
Mmmm smells very delicious 😍. Very ‘good girl’ style and pleasant. It is very sweet fruity and tender. I have liked it very much although the truth is it is not very intense. It is for personal enjoyment or short distances. I will surely buy it. It does not resemble Gioia Ocean which I was sold on. Edit: I have been wearing it for a week. In its dry-down I sense raspberry. 😳 I see the path to becoming the favourite of the My Way line despite not inventing anything extraordinary.
I have tried this fragrance. It is very similar to Marc Jacobs Perfect. If you already own Perfect there is no need to buy this one; they smell identical.
Youthful in line with current perfumes. Very fruity lovely and pleasant. Does it resemble Marc Jacobs Perfect? Yes quite so; but My Way Nectar leans more floral while Perfect is fruitier both being delicious. It’s the kind of perfume that lifts my spirits and I certainly love wearing it.
Another flanker in the My Way line. I must say this line has the best flankers and they vary from one to another (unlike the Good Girl line). One would expect Giorgio Armani to leave My Way in peace although like Carolina Herrera they go the distance. Speaking of Nectar it is a sweeter version with less neroli than the original. I think it will appeal more to teenagers and even young girls due to that sweet pear note; after a while in the dry-down it becomes honeyed (as if it had honey notes) and there I think the name fits well. I did not detect the violet leaves but since what stands out most is that sweet touch they take a back seat. Good longevity for days that are not very warm and for any occasion but I repeat I think it is a good blind choice for young girls. Despite everything I would not add it to my collection as I already have My Way and I feel this one even with that honeyed touch offers nothing interesting enough to warrant adding it.
Explosive opening of juicy peach and pear super sweet and sparkling with a citrus touch of bergamot and orange blossom. The fruit fades in intensity and trail but the longevity is 10 to 12 hours clinging to the skin; reapplying takes you into the next day. Moderate trail except at the start which floods the room with honeyed pear. It is floral with orange blossom tender neroli and jasmine; the violet leaves give it a rich green note. Ideal for spring and summer. The dry-down is perfect: a very soft neroli-musk-vanilla blend nothing like the ‘aristocratic’ neroli of the original My Way or Intense. The vanilla is not the star it’s a subtle sweetness that keeps the floral essence without turning gourmand like the one in Donna Born in Roma. If you like neroli or perfumes like Michael Kors and Narcotic V you will love it; even if you don’t like neroli this is so well-crafted and natural that you might still enjoy it.
I smelled it and it smells like My Way, nothing new.
It hadn’t caught my attention and I tested it today. It turns out to be quite redundant: a fruitier, fresher, less floral version of the original with less neroli. The performance is acceptable. It might be valid for a younger audience, but otherwise… dispensable. Armani, leave the line alone and bet on new things.
Nectar is a marvel, a warm and enveloping floral I hadn’t found in ages. I own the classic, the Floral, and now I want this Nectar, the youngest. Neroli takes a back seat, while a juicy, warm, almost fruity floral accord is highlighted, which goes with everything.
You can detect the pear and orange blossom; it’s tasty, but the pear becomes tiresome. Besides, this fruity-floral scent is seen hundreds of times in the market.
It’s not bad, but I prefer the classic My Way by far.
I’ve never owned the classic My Way, but I tried this and liked it. I find it very similar to Born in Roma Intense, although less intense. They’re very alike and I’ll keep watching how it develops.
I didn’t like it much. It smells like glycyrrhiza; it reminded me of the boring Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs. I can’t stand that soapy note, which is also in Sky Rosé by Aqua di Giò. Just in case you know what I mean… this My Way is the classic starlet but with that soapy note that clouds it.
I tested it yesterday first on blotting paper and then on skin. Without any expectations, it pleasantly surprised me. I really liked it and it lasted over six hours on skin. It reminded me a great deal of D&G’s Q. They share notes, but Q is more citrusy while this is more floral. If I didn’t have the D&G, I would have bought it, but since I do, it felt redundant.
Fresh fruit and that’s it. It doesn’t ring a bell with me.
I love it. As soon as I tested it, I knew I’d wear it. It has the soul of the original but is less strident and more fruity. It reminds me of Chanel’s Chance Eau Tendre, that coveted and expensive one, so it’s a good alternative.
It’s my favourite of all the flankers: fresh, fruity, and nothing like the original’s invasiveness. I love it!
I love this fragrance. I own the whole My Way line and here I feel the DNA of the original with an air of Intense after the fruity and sweet opening passes. On my skin it lasts 6 hours, with the last ones very soft. For spring and summer it will be ideal, although I used it in the cold and it turned out well; I think it performs better with heat.
The My Way line and I have been together for a while: it’s a family of neroli scents I don’t usually wear. With the original, I found myself liking it and not liking it, wanting it and not wanting it. This flanker was my gateway into the Armani house for me. It keeps the original DNA but reduces the neroli and that mature scent, adding pear to make it more playful, juicy, and relaxed without losing its essence. You can smell the pear, bergamot, and orange blossom at the start; after 15-20 minutes the pear dominates while the jasmine and neroli fade. The base with amber, vanilla, and cedar holds everything together. It shines in spring and stands out at night in summer. It’s elegant but relaxed, perfect for going out or even for the office. If you’re not a neroli person but do like sweet scents, give it a chance. PS: Guilty as sin?
It’s the delicate and fruity version of My Way, ideal if the original feels too strong for you. Here, the pear shines with white florals in the background; it’s soft, almost teenage. I already have the classic and the Intense, so this doesn’t add much to my collection, but I loved it for hot summers.
If you’re looking for an affordable alternative to My Way, try the Sheika by Zakat, that Arabic perfume that does a good job.
The My Ways are my favourite perfumes; I own them all. The Nectar version is fruitier, ideal for spring/summer, for day and night. It’s not cloying, but it doesn’t last as long as those from their brand. It has a delicious fresh and fruity aroma, but it’s not one of my favourites due to longevity: only I notice it, and only for the first few hours. I’ve asked people around me and after a few hours they can’t smell the trail. If you’re the type to carry perfume in your bag and reapply every two hours, I recommend it; otherwise, don’t.
My Way is iconic; every house tried to make a flanker, but only Armani managed to complement it, refresh it, and make it unique for a new generation. My favourite is the Parfum: sophisticated and luxurious. Armani achieves longevity across its whole line. Nectar is the most youthful, more sophisticated than a Dior Parfum without that baby powder base note that can be monotonous. Nectar is cheerful, reflecting the innocence of a girl just starting in the world of fragrances: neither childish nor matronly. Armani gave the most youthful fragrance to teenagers, especially thanks to that sweet note of pear and honey that stands out in the base. It’s not so sweet nor so citrusy at the same time; a sophisticated combination. Those who know all the My Ways and have them in their collection will love them.
Let us remember that My Way is iconic; since its birth every house has sought its flanker but only Armani could complement it within each My Way managing to make it unique renewed and focused on each generation. My favourite is My Way Parfum totally sophisticated and luxurious. And let us talk about longevity: Armani achieves it across its entire line. Nectar is the most youthful more sophisticated than a Dior Parfum without that repulsive baby towel smell in the base notes that Dior has in its line resulting in being monotonous and tiring throughout the day. Nectar is more jovial reflecting the innocence of puberty in a young girl starting in the world of fragrances: neither very childish nor very lady-like. Armani gave the fragrance to the most youthful of teenagers especially due to that sweet pear and honey note that stands out in its base notes. Without being so sweet and so citrusy at the same time it is a rather sophisticated conjugation of these elements with the notes that represent each of the My Ways. Those who know all of them and are part of their collection will love them 😉.
It has the DNA of My Way EDP but toned down, almost imperceptible. I expected a well-sweet pear opening (given the name Nectar), but it comes out as a white citrus-floral with a very subdued pear, finishing with a super soapy dry-down. It didn’t last even two hours on my skin and the trail is weak.
The undisputed star is the pear 🍐, with a super sweet opening that then gives way to neroli and florals. In the end, it’s an embrace of neroli wrapped in sweet pears, bergamot, and florals. I find it lovely, ideal for daytime or afternoon, although it’s not as original and I still prefer the classic My Way.
I think it is the richest My Way flanker I have tried so far. It is super pleasant and feminine I would say ideal for spring. If you like sweet fruity and floral I have no doubt you will like it. The only ‘con’ I find is that at least for me it does not last as long on the skin or clothes as the original My Way but even knowing that I would buy it again without a doubt.
It’s the richest My Way flanker I’ve tried so far. It’s super pleasant and feminine, perfect for spring. If you like sweet, fruity, and floral scents, you’ll love it. The only downside is that, for me, it doesn’t last as long on skin or clothes as the original, but I’d still buy it again without a doubt.
A much more delicate version than the original. It keeps the fruity notes but in a more natural way, with a creamy dry-down. Unlike the classic My Way which I find loud, this feels balanced and soft, perfect for those seeking a feminine and girly scent. On my skin, it lasts between 6 and 8 hours, and even longer on clothes.
I love it! From the very first moment I put it on my skin, I was fascinated. I would buy it again without a doubt.
It’s feminine, ethereal, and very clean; as a lover of bergamot and pear, it’s comforting to me. I’d wear it to go out or straight after a shower to feel clean and coquettish. It smells like a garden and freshly picked fruits, or like those fresh colognes from when I was young (it’s not vintage but it brings back memories). Longevity is just average, like most, but it’s so relaxing that it’s worth reapplying every couple of hours. Compared to the original, it seems fresher and cheerier, less cloying. Although it’s all about taste, for me it’s my favourite of the My Way range.
No wonder the sales assistant insisted: it smells like juicy, fresh, and sweet pear, very feminine. It refreshes me when it’s hot. It gives off vibes of Marc Jacobs’ Eau So Fresh but with more presence; if MJ is for tomorrow and midday, this fits until dusk. I’ve already received a compliment saying it smells like little fruits. It fades after 2 or 3 hours, but others can still smell it for another couple of hours.
A shop assistant tested this fragrance on me and I found it fresh, cheerful, and elegant, with the classic My Way DNA but more summery or spring-like. The opening is exquisite and long-lasting with citrus, pear, and flowers like neroli and jasmine. The heart turned acidic and spicy on my skin, perhaps due to mixing with another perfume, which I disliked until it settled. Projection and longevity were scarce, but I liked the scent greatly and want to try it again.
Very different from the classic but similar in its intoxicating effect: orange blossom and pear notes that slightly cover the neroli. It resembles Prada Paradoxe greatly. It’s clean, classic, and youthful, yet it remains the My Way DNA, just attenuated by the top notes.
I bought My Way in Paris and I have so much affection for that city; this perfume smells like a holiday in my favourite place in the world. I love it so much.
I loved it completely: soft white flowers, very feminine, with a pear note that adds delicious sweetness. Nothing heavy, very fresh and sparkling. It’s a pity it lasts only two hours before fading to skin scent; I don’t mind reapplying, but for an Armani, I expected more. Still, I can’t stop loving it.
Although nobody cares about men’s opinions, this is the one that receives the most compliments, not because of Nectar but for the original DNA. My Way didn’t convince me, but this flanker drives me crazy and now I want the traditional version. It has considerable longevity for a floral. If you hate My Way, give this a try; if you love it, go for the original.
Smells sweet yet balanced, with a fruitier opening than floral notes that I absolutely adore. It’s super feminine and delicate, perfect for hot weather. It’s not a powerhouse in terms of projection or longevity, but it’s a beautiful fragrance.
