Xerjoff was founded in Turin in 2007 by Sergio Momo and Dominique Salvo. Momo's first creation was presented in a quartz bottle, and the 17/17 Stone Label and Shooting Stars collections maintained that relationship between perfume and object. In 2009, the brand recovered the Italian house Casamorati.
The current catalogue brings together different families. Naxos is presented as a perfume inspired by Sicily; Erba Pura occupies a fruity line. Xerjoff and Casamorati appear separately, with their own bottles, concentrations and names. The house also publishes stories for each launch, with references to specific materials and places.
