It has become one of my favourites, but don’t buy it blindly like I did. At first, the opening felt artificial and floral, but once it dries down quickly, the juicy pineapple kicks in and everything changes. It’s not for everyone, so test it first. However, it really stands out because few people wear it. Many gravitate towards Erba Pura or Gold, but if you’re looking for something distinct and bold, this is your street.

  2. The first time I thought: ‘What expensive rubbish is this?’. It didn’t work as I expected, but over time I realised it’s a proper beast. Beyond the pretty bottle, it smells of real ingredients, nothing synthetic. It starts floral with jasmine and rose, a scent reminiscent of an old rich lady, then those flowers fade and soft fruits rise, like pineapple but very subtle, nothing like Creed Aventus. It lasts more than 12 hours on skin, even after showering. It doesn’t project like Erba Pura; it’s discreet and stays close, but with heat it comes out a bit more. The curious thing is that I don’t smell it myself, but others do when they get close and give compliments because it smells exquisite.

  3. After trying several Xerjoff fragrances (though not all), I’m sticking with this: an excellent perfume, top-quality materials, a rich aroma, and longevity that stays with you.

I’m convinced Accento deserves far more attention than it currently gets. There are viral fragrances without merit, and brilliant ones that go unnoticed. This is a beast in terms of projection and longevity: I’ve worn it for over 14 hours on skin and between 8 and 10 on clothes without doing anything special. The scent is spectacular; if you enjoy hyacinth, vanilla, and musk, this is for you. It’s unisex, though around 55% feminine. It smells clean, baby-like, relaxing, and uplifting, even though it’s noticeable and lingers everywhere. I picked it up at a good price and it’s not one of Xerjoff’s most expensive. I recommend it wholeheartedly; if you try it, you won’t regret it.

I believe this fragrance doesn’t deserve the fame it has. There are viral perfumes without merit and others that should be at the top. Accento is a beast in terms of projection and longevity: more than 14 hours on skin and 8-10 hours at a distance without effort. The scent is spectacular if you like hyacinth, vanilla, and musk. I’d say it’s unisex, 55% feminine. It smells clean, like baby powder, relaxing and bringing happiness, although it is very noticeable and present. I found it at a good price; it’s not the most expensive in the brand. I recommend it highly; if you try it, you won’t regret it.

  7. Floral-fruity and clean, with very good longevity and standout sillage. A good opening from Mr Maurice.

I wore it for several months; it was my first Xerjoff and the quality and presentation are top-notch, but be warned, it’s not my favourite. It’s not a bad perfume; on the contrary, it’s excellent, but if I run out, I wouldn’t buy another bottle. The scent doesn’t turn my head but it’s very unique; you can smell the pineapple but nothing like Aventus, it’s more fruity-acidic than sweet, with green notes and some floral-musky touches (jasmine and hyacinth at the start), light spiciness, and lots of iris. Longevity is 6 to 10 hours with 4 to 8 sprays. I bought it on impulse and it didn’t hook me before, but now I like it more. Ideal for spring or summer, fresh, fruity, floral, and refined. A great formula by Carbonell and Laura.

Two months ago, I visited a niche perfumery in Buenos Aires and the security guard at the entrance smelled fantastic. He was wearing something very masculine and clean; I asked him what it was, and he told me it was Xerjoff Accento and that they had stock. I went in and asked the sales assistant to let me try it. As soon as I applied it to my hand, I noticed it felt more feminine. I mentioned that the guard at the entrance was wearing it and it felt very masculine on him, whereupon the assistant explained that up close it smells feminine but from a distance, masculine, which I confirmed when I went back to the guard at the entrance.

Two months ago I went to a niche perfumery in Buenos Aires and the doorman smelled incredible; he was wearing something very masculine and clean. I asked what it was and he told me it was Accento by Xerjoff, and since they had stock, I went in. When I tested it on my hand, I noticed it was more feminine. I commented that the doorman wore it and it felt masculine, and the saleswoman explained that up close it smells feminine but from a distance masculine, which I confirmed when I approached the doorman again.

I’d never heard of this fragrance before, even though videos called it one of Xerjoff’s best, until I spotted it in a shop. As they don’t stock many of these here and don’t allow spraying, I could only smell it from the bottle. That powdery, earthy pineapple with a hint of acidity was simply delightful; it’s like mixing Carolina Herrera’s Sexy Man, Prada’s L’Homo, or Chanel’s Chance with a dose of sweet and sour pineapple. It has great potency and quality; personally, I adore this kind of musky and fruity fragrance. With one or two sprays it lasts all day and projects well, while three to five are ideal for evening wear. It’s neither feminine nor masculine, but rather unisex. If you like Erba Pura, this is less sharp, less feminine, and less potent (I simply can’t stand the intensity of Erba Pura). I’ll keep testing it and will update later. Edit: At first, I sensed the pineapple in the background, but after wearing it more, it became the star alongside the musk and lots of jasmine; it reminds me of a pineapple shampoo or a pineapple smoothie.

I’d never heard of this before, only saw videos saying it was one of the best from Xerjoff, but without interesting reviews until I found it in a shop. Since they don’t bring many fragrances from the brand here and don’t allow spraying, I could only smell it from the bottle. That powdery, earthy, slightly acidic pineapple delighted me; it’s like mixing CH Sexy Man, Prada L’Homs, or Channel Chance with acidic and sweet pineapple, very potent and of good quality. I love musky and fruity fragrances. With 1 or 2 sprays it lasts all day, with 3-5 for evening. It’s unisex, less sharp than Erba Pura (which I don’t tolerate much). The pineapple started in the base but now it’s the protagonist alongside the musk and jasmine; it smells like pineapple shampoo or a smoothie.

  14. It feels special among ‘skin scents’. It’s the typical synthetic white musk (not bad) but with interesting nuances. At the start there’s a tiny bit of peppery heat, followed by lilac flowers like watercolour and something astringent which I imagine is the pineapple. It stays right on the skin all the time, lasting about 7 hours. It’s unisex for all seasons and occasions. It’s pleasant and original in its style, but it doesn’t have much to highlight. In my opinion, the price is ridiculously high for what it offers; there are musks that cost less than a tenth of the price and are just as good. Pleasant: 6/10, Interesting: 6/10, Versatile: 10/10, Original: 8/10.

  15. Here is my review of this beautiful perfume. Xerjoff always demonstrates its quality and class. The bottle has a very elegant violet velvet, although the rigid box doesn’t follow the aesthetic of other lines. What matters is the juice: powerful opening, a mix of ripe citrus fruit (pineapple in syrup), floral, vanilla, and earthy touches. It’s like mixing Silver Mountain Water and Comandante by Xerjoff. Result: a fruity, woody, and spiced perfume you will love. I see it for spring and summer evenings. It’s elegant, unique, and unisex but with a more masculine touch. Ideal for formal or semi-formal wear. It has excellent trail, projection, and longevity over ten hours. Scent 9/10, Sillage 9.5/10, Projection 8.5/10, Longevity 9/10.
