Have you worn Amber Fusion For Her?

Tell us how it opens, how it settles on your skin, how long it lasts and when you wear it.

  1. I enjoy it most in spring and summer, though I’d wear it all year round. It feels more daytime than evening due to its fresh opening, reminiscent of men’s perfumes, but with a woody base that grounds it. Overall, it’s not a particularly feminine fragrance. It smells great, adheres well, and lasts half a day. I’ve owned it before and will be buying it again for these spring days. I recommend testing it on your skin, as the listed notes can be misleading and vary greatly depending on who wears it.

  2. Amber Fusion, like other users, tends towards the masculine in my case; I notice a typical animalic musk found in men’s fragrances, even though the olfactory pyramid doesn’t declare it. Another peculiarity: it spoils on clothes and smells like sweat, but on skin it remains as an amber, musky, marine, and woody fragrance, without being strictly feminine. It’s strong, formal, and exceptionally long-lasting, remaining intact for eight hours. I bought it after testing it in-store for its potency, but I’ve struggled to find occasions to wear it. It’s a masculine unisex that makes me feel like a gentleman’s embrace, transferring marine and woody base notes. Although I feel disappointed, it bears no resemblance to Chanel Chance Eau de Parfum except for that masculine musky accord from Chanel. Who will like it: amber lovers.

  3. I went with great enthusiasm and it didn’t work on my skin (smelled like insecticide) but a friend found it delicious, citrusy, woody, elegant and easy to use, with a real unisex tint. If this amber fusion works on your skin and is at a good price, it’s a rich option for a minimalist and personal signature perfume. But definitely it doesn’t work on me so I don’t recommend buying it blindly. Summary: Woody-Citrus, versatile, elegant, minimalist and personal.

  4. I went to it with great excitement, but it didn’t work on my skin (it smelled like insecticide), whereas a friend found it beautiful: citrusy, woody, elegant, and easy to wear. It has a genuine unisex tint. If that amber fusion works for you, I recommend trying it; if it’s a good price and suits your skin, it’s a rich, minimalist, untried, and personal option. But definitely, it doesn’t work for me, so I don’t recommend buying it blindly. Summary: woody, citrusy, versatile, elegant, and minimalist.

  5. It’s one of Zara’s good fragrances. It has a fresh, citrusy, and marine opening, softened by lily of the valley and cedarwood. It’s balanced and well-executed. A pear note is perceptible, unlisted, mixed with bergamot and marine notes, perhaps Calone, over an amber base that adds longevity. It’s unisex, very versatile, and can be worn for any occasion and time of year.

I didn’t quite like it; I found it very rough and masculine. I’ve just learned it’s unisex, and those aren’t really my thing. I can’t deny it’s rich; this opinion isn’t to say it’s unpleasant, quite the opposite, it’s delicious, but in my taste, it’s too masculine. The day I bought it, my nose was saturated from testing fragrances, bordering on anosmia. It was my choice, but it will pass to a gentleman who can appreciate it better than I can.

A fresh, aquatic, and amber fragrance. It resembles Tommy Girl; I’d wear it more on warm days. It’s not the perfume they say it is; it’s simply similar to Natura’s Kaiak, Aventura, or Oceano. To give you an idea: you don’t smell any flowers at all. It doesn’t last for me at all, what a pity.

It smells strong; I’d use it only for special occasions or at night. It radiates elegance and has incredible longevity and trail. The opening is unisex but dries down feeling more feminine. I don’t usually like unisex scents but this has something special. Update: the longevity is incredible, noticeable even the next day, and the trail is beastly. For its price, it offers next-level quality. Sometimes I mix it with Eilish and the result is wonderful.

This perfume is quite strong; I’d wear it only for special occasions or night outings. It radiates elegance and has excellent longevity and trail. The opening is very unisex, but as it dries down, it feels slightly more feminine. I usually don’t like unisex fragrances much, but this has something that makes it special. As an update, it has incredible longevity; it’s still noticeable the next day, and its trail is superb. For its price, it offers excellent quality. On some occasions, I combine it with Eilish, and the aroma it leaves is wonderful.

A linear, masculine, very marine, and slightly woody perfume. It smells like the liquid hand soap for men at my workplace. I expected more; the hype didn’t justify it. There are better Chapter options for a man. It’s quite good on the flowers, not bad at all.

  11. I was about to buy it blindly from Zara’s website because the notes caught my attention and the reviews were positive, but I decided better to smell it personally in a store. The first impression was that it smelled like the perfumes my aunt used back in the noughties; I’m not saying it smells like a lady, far from it, in fact, I think it’s versatile for the whole adult public. Without a doubt, I had imagined it differently based on the notes, but it didn’t attract me enough to buy. Once I felt its performance, I realised it’s super strong; I had the scent on my arm for three days, and personally, that sensation felt invasive, and I just wanted to stop smelling it. There’s a note I can’t identify that I didn’t like and made the perfume smell very synthetic.

  12. I’m not sure if I love it or just like it. The opening is super unisex, almost masculine, but after a few minutes it changes as it dries down, which is where it really shines. The bergamot and lily are very noticeable, and the projection and sillage are considerable. However, it doesn’t smell like anything on me, only right up against the skin, while everyone who comes near says I smell great. It happens with another Zara perfume, JoM or Fashionably London: I can’t smell it, but everyone around me can. It’s annoying that it smells so good yet I don’t enjoy it 100%, but I have two bottles just in case. Perhaps it’s better to test before buying.

Amber Fusion from Zara shares notes with Amber Fever by Mancera: vanilla, patchouli, amber, musk, rose, caramel, praline, tonka bean, almonds, chocolate, sandalwood, vetiver and honey. Amber Fusion adds bergamot, pear, mandarin and lychee, whereas Amber Fever has coconut, lavender, blackcurrants and pear. The resemblance is reasonable. It doesn’t resemble Erba Pura by Xerjoff, but perhaps it is similar to a modern version of Un Jardin sur la Lagune by Hermès. Of the Mancera scents, the one that comes closest to the notes of Erba Pura is Cedrat Boise. The incense, cedar and cardamom notes of Erba Pura are not in Amber Fusion. It offers a wonderful olfactory aura; one must know how to appreciate it. For those seeking something more.

Zara’s Amber Fusion shares notes with Mancera’s Amber Fever such as vanilla, patchouli, amber, musk, rose, flowers, caramel, praline, tonka bean, almonds, dark chocolate, sandalwood, vetiver and honey. Amber Fusion carries bergamot, pear, mandarin and lychee; Amber Fever has bergamot, coconut, lavender, blackcurrants and pear. The resemblance is reasonable. 15. I tried it in-store and loved it; the next day, after showering, it was still present and I convinced myself to buy the large bottle, a big mistake, I can’t stand it 🙁 it even causes me nausea. For me, it is the mixture of the marine note with the amber, too sharp and invasive. I went to a bar and upon entering, I smelled it in the air, which surprised me greatly, as although it was closed and full of people, it stood out so much. Shortly after, I found the culprit, a good friend, who confirmed it was this Amber Fusion. I recommend testing before buying, even several times, because the longevity and projection are beastly.

  16. When applied to the wrist, it smells luxurious, reminding me of Creed though I haven’t tried it myself, but based on others’ accounts, it’s worth it. Amber Fusion is peculiar; it doesn’t seem to copy anything and they’ve broken the mould. Today I tried Red Temptation, Rose Gourmand, Majestic Opulence and Golden Decade, and they were ‘more of the same’; I expected more from the last one I so desired. I’m sticking with this for its personality; I only recommend testing it on skin because the marine-woody notes don’t suit everyone. Edit May 23: matches the comments, the amber and marine notes are very prominent (I sense something synthetic); it gave me a headache with so many sprays but ultimately I love having it and using it, it has no equal in longevity or projection, but beware, don’t buy blindly.

  17. I sprayed it on my wrist today and let it develop on my skin; it evoked an expensive aroma… and so when I read the notes, I associated it with Creed, a very expensive perfume I haven’t tried yet, but based on others’ references, I can delight myself. Amber Fusion is a very peculiar scent; I don’t feel it is a dupe of an existing one, I feel they broke the mould with this fragrance… I am fascinated to add it to my collection. Today I perceived Red Temptation, Rose Gourmand, Majestic Opulence and Golden Decade, and honestly they were “more of the same”; I expected more, especially from Golden Decade, which I so longed for after seeing so many reviews labelling it a dupe for Libre. Of all of them, I stick with this scent with personality and originality, I am delighted. I only recommend testing it on the skin, the marine-woody note is not always a favourite in all noses. Edit May 23: I agree in many aspects with the comments above, the marine and amber notes are well marked (I also feel it slightly synthetic), it has given me a headache when I pass it over in sprays, but definitely it is a fragrance I like to have and use. I don’t have any that resembles it in scent, longevity and projection. That said, it is not for blind buying.

It lasts an eternity on me and weeks on clothes. It is one of the perfumes with the best projection I have ever had. For me, it is an addictive, strong, very fresh and dominant scent. It goes in the direction of Erba Pura by Xerjoff and even Molecule 01.

It’s a unisex opening scent that becomes noticeably more feminine as it dries down. Smells delicious and offers brutal performance for such a low price. Zara fragrances are catching me off guard; the quality-to-price ratio is top-notch.

It is a unisex opening scent, but as it dries down it feels more feminine. It reminds me of a perfume I’ve heard of, but I don’t know which one. It is rich, has super good performance for such an economical price. Zara perfumes are pleasantly surprising me, excellent price-quality ratio.

If I had to define it in one word: LUXURIOUS. It’s fine, elegant and fresh… it’s not 100% my style but the quality shows. The opening is strong, unisex, but dries down to become more feminine. Wonderful longevity, all day, and those who have told me have loved it so much both men and women (something rare for me). There was no tester at Zara in my city but as it was reduced to £7.99 I took the plunge to buy it, although my mother liked it more than I did and I’ve left it to her. Edit: I’ve tried it three more times and now it seems VERY overwhelming, extremely invasive, definitely not for me, I notice it’s more masculine… but my mother still loves it so…

If I had to define this perfume with one word, it would be: LUXURIOUS. It is very fine, elegant, fresh… It is not 100% my style but the quality is noticeable and it has to be said. The opening is quite strong, fairly unisex, but as it dries down it becomes something more feminine. Longevity is wonderful, all day, and those who have perceived it have told me how well it smells, both men and women (and that is not something that usually happens to me), so it is liked very much. There was no tester at Zara in my city but as it was reduced to £7.99 I took the plunge to buy it, although my mother has liked it much more than me and she is going to keep it. Edit: I have tested it three more times and now it feels VERY overwhelming, extremely invasive, definitely not for me, I can smell it even more masculine… but my mother still loves it so…

I like it, but I barely perceive it. It reminds me of an old women’s perfume I had from MaxMara Dutti (Maximo Dutti Woman).
