I tried it with great enthusiasm for the notes, but it just doesn’t work for me: it smells like compact powder, like makeup, and gives me an old lady vibe.
I tried it with high hopes, but it did nothing for me. It smells like pressed powder, more like makeup than perfume, and gives off a ‘grandma’ vibe.
I’m not sure if my bottle arrived defective or if the liquid has changed, but this is the worst smell I’ve ever encountered. It doesn’t smell like perfume at all; it’s flat, dry, and dusty. I believe my unit was faulty because it can’t possibly smell that bad and still be sold.
Ideal for summer; it’s not overpowering, dizzying, or intrusive. Perfect for enclosed spaces; I think this is a classic for any collection, perfect for days when you want to smell good but remain unobtrusive without being annoying. The notes I detect most are hyacinth and iris, with moderate sillage and longevity.
Honestly, I expected something else, but I loved it, haha. There’s a significant undeclared note, because to me it smells a bit like CK One, but more feminine and powdery. It’s brilliant for summer!
To be honest, I loved it; I had no hope because I adore Accento, and this resembles it enormously—same essence and unisex. The only difference is longevity and intensity: Accento is fresh, long-lasting, and projects well, whereas Philos Centre is more in keeping with the style (there’s not much difference anyway). If you’re looking for a perfume similar to Xerjoff’s Accento, this gives 90% similarity, which is more than enough for me.
I’m not sure if this is for men or women.
