I know both, Delina and Delilah, and I say they are 95% identical in scent, not to mention 100%. The trail and longevity are another matter. If there’s no budget for Delina, Delilah is an excellent option. Delina feels finer and more elegant; Delilah a bit stronger on the talc. As a dupe, it’s a 10/10.
It’s identical to Delina, except that in Delilah the rhubarb predominates, especially at the beginning. If you don’t like that note, don’t buy it, even if you’re a Delina fan. At first I loved it, but now I feel so much rhubarb and a sort of nutmeg that I don’t have much affection for it anymore. But I admit it’s the best PDM dupe.
This perfume is the end. What a finer and more delicate scent, it smells of talc-dusted roses. I love it, it lasts a long time on me, and it’s the perfume with which I’ve received the most compliments.
I’ve had this fragrance for over a year. At first I thought it was Delina, but today I confirm it isn’t: there is similarity, but the quality is low compared to the original. I read it had a good trail and longevity, but I disagree: it has no trail and neither does longevity, maybe a maximum of 4 hours on skin. It’s an intimate scent, ideal for all day or the office, nothing overwhelming. It’s feminine, but the opening smells of alcohol to me. Compared with Delina, Marly perfumes have superior quality; they don’t have that alcoholic opening and feel more suited for special occasions. Delilah feels more feminine and distinctive; I use Delilah for the gym, it feels good, but I don’t think it’s as empowering as the Marly ones. In summary, I think there is a better executed Arabic dupe of Delina for the price of Delilah. I wouldn’t buy it again sincerely.
I bought it blind with a sample… and in that one I didn’t notice the rhubarb so sharp, which unfortunately ruins the experience. The lychee also gives it an acidity that doesn’t suit me. The rhubarb gives me an uncomfortable sensation, almost as if it’s ‘scratching’ me. The rose comes out fresh and then dries to a powdery finish (in just the right measure). In my opinion, the best phase is after a couple of hours, when the rhubarb fades and the base musk rises. Average performance: lasts about 5 hours on skin, low trail (projects for 2 hours) and then stays close to the skin, soft and musky. For the price, it’s not bad. It’s not for buying blind; in terms of scent, it’s not comparable to Delina by PdM, although it tries to imitate it. I’ll use it for daily wear, especially in spring, but when the bottle is finished, I won’t buy it again.
It smells lovely, but for me it’s very Middle Eastern style. I didn’t find it 100% feminine.
I’m not a fan of roses, but this left me speechless. I adore it and receive many compliments. Highly recommended!
I received it as a gift and it’s one of the most affordable in my collection. I’m not sure which is the original, but it smells lovely. For the price, no complaints. It smells of roses, like Lancôme’s but more sophisticated. I’ve been told it resembles La Nuit or La Vie est Belle. Very feminine with a soft sweetness, the most tolerable of all. I’ve worn it for two hours so I don’t yet know how long it lasts. I’m not a huge fan of florals, but for spring-summer, a little sweetness is perfect.
What a beauty! I love it. I put it on and it lasts until the next day on my neck, clothes, and hair. When I wear it, people take notice, and the quality-to-price ratio is unbeatable.
Days have passed and I’m even more hooked; it’s the king of extreme heat. A perfect balance between freshness and a sweet touch that makes it incredibly harmonious. Ideal for crazy summers.
When I first bought it, I noticed differences in the opening notes compared to Delina; the fruity and synthetic notes were very sharp. After macerating, it’s very similar and excellent in longevity. Give it time; it softens and the rose intensifies in an elegant, talc-like way—powdered rose with a soft, sweet dew that isn’t cloying. I own Delina, but I’ll never buy it again, as I feel it’s become too mass-produced. I’ll keep it in my collection and use it when I crave a rose scent.
You can smell the rose from start to finish. It smells good, but I’m not sure if it’s something I’d wear myself, as I prefer other types of scents. That said, it has that note found in all Arabic perfumes that never quite convinces me.
I consider it bears no resemblance to Delina at all. The aroma is very synthetic and its opening is akin to acetone. I wouldn’t recommend it even a little.
It’s beautiful. To my mind, it has a green opening due to the rhubarb note, though it’s subtle, similar to a lemon. However, within seconds, the vanilla becomes present. I’d say it’s very versatile and has a juicy component. It’s light and easy to wear, yet I wouldn’t recommend buying it blindly. It’s one of my favourite fragrances.
Delicious, but too synthetic. You have to apply very little or it becomes overwhelming. Fortunately, it was a gift; you must try before you buy.
Delilah by Maison Alhambra is an interesting clone of Delina by Parfums de Marly, coming very close at a high percentage (85%). It’s a very pleasant fragrance characterised by the presence of rose, peony and musk. Its performance is more than acceptable, making its quality-to-price ratio marvellous. For those who dismiss this creation, remember it costs one-tenth of what the Parfums de Marly version does; if there were no difference between them, something would be very wrong, wouldn’t it? Also, bear in mind something that often happens with certain Arabic fragrances: they need to be macerated a little. After some time, you’ll appreciate it in its full glory. I recommend it.
An opening of rose bath, powdery and creamy. Not something to buy blindly, but it is delicate and delicious. At first, I wasn’t surprised; the first application felt strong and slightly artificial. However, with days of use, I learned to love it. Yesterday, I received two compliments on its trail when I entered a shop. The curious thing is that I couldn’t smell it on myself. It’s fresh yet powerful. A delightful surprise that I will definitely buy again.
Either way, it’s a pleasant fragrance. I’d recommend it for temperate or fresh weather, but never for the beach as it can be overpowering. It’s delicate and feminine, though too many sprays can become tiresome. I see it more suited to women over 35. The powdery note is very present; it’s sweet yet acidic. I prefer it to Club de Nuit Imperiale, which is far too sweet.
I gifted this to my wife and it turned her into a lady in fine taste. It smells elegant and refined, isn’t heavy, and the longevity is top-notch. For the price, it’s a steal.
The scent isn’t bad, but it’s incredibly synthetic. It smells like that bottled Asian drink called mogu mogu with lychee flavour.
On my skin, it’s pure powdery rose, with a slight sweet and acidic nuance; that’s the only note that differs without a doubt. It’s not to my taste, but I feel it’s super elegant.
I loved the acidity of the rhubarb and lychee when it opened; I struggle immensely to find perfumes because most of them make me dizzy, but this one is beautiful. We’re in winter and it’s quite soft. In the 90s in Chile, we collected esquelas; once we rented a house with a giant bag of esquelas, and it smells the same, making me feel happy. My husband and I noticed a hint of old rice pudding after a while, probably the soft vanilla, fortunately. My only reservation was the vanilla, which isn’t an immediate yes for me. I wouldn’t wear it in summer; I’m sure the vanilla won’t feel the same in warm weather.
It’s horrible. I bought it because of the wonders people were reading about, and it’s one of the ugliest bottles I’ve ever owned. I don’t find it delicate; it’s extremely strong, fully synthetic, invasive, and it reeks.
It arrived recently and pleasantly surprised me. The reviews were discouraging, but the perception is unique. For me, it’s a dupe of Chloe without that cloying touch that saturates. I loved it and would definitely buy it again.
Delina is spectacular and feminine; it’s on my list. A friend let me try Delilah as a perfect dupe; I smelled it and it seemed very similar, so I bought it. I went back to Palacio de Hierro to smell Delina. Are they identical? No. In Delina, the rose predominates, whereas in Delilah, it’s the lychee. They’re similar in notes, one more floral and the other more fruity, but they follow the same line. Delilah is 70-80% similar, but not the same. Do they last the same? No. Delina is beast mode, while Delilah lasts 4-5 hours. It’s pretty, feminine, clean, and pleasant with decent performance for the price. If you’re not looking for a perfect clone, I recommend buying it; it’s very lovely. I thought about passing, but I didn’t. If you have a trained nose and fell in love with Delina, the original is better in scent and performance. Delina remains on my list.
For lovers of sweet and floral aromas. It opens juicy and fruity with rhubarb and lychee, a citrus touch of bergamot. The heart is floral and romantic with Turkish rose, peony, and lily, feminine and elegant. The base is creamy and sensual with vanilla, musk, and cashmere, offering comfort and longevity. Ideal for everyday wear, spring, and summer. Versatile for the office, a casual outing, or a romantic date.
A floral fragrance for everyday wear, non-invasive and with good longevity. On my skin, it reminds me of the classic Nina Ricci Parfum, the one with the apple note, but at half the price. The base doesn’t remind me of Marly, however, it was a blind buy and a very successful one.
It’s very different from what’s on the market; on my skin, it smells herbal, green, and mysterious. It’s a pleasant scent I really like, and it has excellent performance.
It’s pink and tender, with fresh and powdery roses, a fruity touch, and a green base. Ideal for spring or mild days, it’s the perfect transition between the heaviness of winter and the lightness you seek. It dresses you up, making you feel casual yet put-together and pretty. I don’t know Delina, but on its own, it’s exquisite and I love it, and so does its price!
I’m torn on this fragrance. Perhaps I was under the weather when I tried it a few months ago and loved it, but now on skin it initially smells like Barbie doll, synthetic and grating. By the half-hour mark it takes shape and I start to like it more. I had my family smell it and everyone liked it; over time it highlights the rose scent with an acidic note, perhaps lychee or rhubarb (I don’t know what rhubarb smells like, so I attribute it to lychee). Perhaps it needs macerating as they say with Arabian perfumes. I don’t know, I’m thinking of exchanging it.
At first, it smells like a fifty-something lady in heels, but once it dries down, the distinctive note emerges: it’s a rose with less talc, reminiscent of a 1970s cosmetics case, yet velvety and dry.
Heavy powder rose, very much in the style of Delina. Very pleasant and it lasts days on clothes, even noticeable after washing. Good perfume at a good price.
If you like roses but not powdery ones, rather fresh, vibrant and cheerful, like wet roses with a hint of acid, and you want it to last for hours even after a shower, this is for you.
I gifted it to my wife; it’s youthful and feminine without being saccharine, very elegant. The rose is prominent and evokes freshly cut grass. It’s fresh with an incredible trail. I own four perfumes, some more expensive, but this is undoubtedly the best. I’d buy it again; it will be her signature.
What on earth did Maison A do here? I seriously couldn’t handle this dupe, and that’s what worries me because I was very drawn to Delina. Honestly, I couldn’t stand that sharp, green aroma; I imagine it’s the rhubarb shouting ‘HEY, HERE I AM, MATE!’. It has plenty of character, and combined with a powdery accord, it smells like a joke to the nose. Plus, rose has never been my favourite note. I let it macerate for ages and it went from intense to super mega ultra intense. Now I’m not sure what to do. I think it’s for a lady over 30, because Delilah has character; you don’t go unnoticed, with projection and longevity of a thousand demons.
Smells lovely and its trail lasts ages… I’ve received so many compliments :3.
I absolutely love it; people have showered me with compliments and it lasts forever. What a lovely scent.
Just fresh, powdery roses, nothing more. Not my style; I already own Armaf’s Untold, which smells the same and I prefer it. It’s not bad, pleasant and feminine, but if you don’t like roses, you won’t like this.
Pure rose and nothing else. It just doesn’t suit me; I hate that note.
Not my favourite, but it doesn’t bother me. The rose dominates, giving that fresh-from-the-shower vibe, perfect for cool days.
