  • I had Zara’s Cherry Smoothie (supposed dupe of Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry) and gave it away because it was horrible. I could smell bath deodorant, car perfume, I don’t know… very unpleasant and far from Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry. I wanted to give this one from M. Alhambra a try and Woooowwww! 🤩 It’s much closer to Lost Cherry and it’s DELICIOUS. Regarding the Zara dupe, this is a sweeter version with a notable base note that blends the notes and gives a cushion of sugary softness against so much synthetic cherry. I LOVE IT. To give you an idea, it smells like a mentholated sweet cherry lozenge. In Argentina there’s one called ‘Halls’ in particular and it smells exactly like the one that is 🍒. The almond accompanies it very soberly and there’s a truly exquisite amber 😍. I was very surprised, after the viral ‘dupe’ from Zara which left me with this face 🤢. This is a very GOOD DUPE of Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry and if you have the latter and don’t want to spend so much every day, Lovely Chérie is PERFECT. Watch out with the sprays ⚠️ don’t overdo it as it’s not a soft perfume: it can be cloying, give a headache, or cause rejection. It is extremely sweet. • It’s a spectacular cherry. It smells to me like cherry with a bit of liqueur, but not too much, bathed in syrup with a touch of cinnamon. It’s super feminine and warm. I’m fascinated by the scent, but its longevity is horribly non-existent. It’s winter, I apply it and within minutes I can’t perceive it… what a pity. I moisturised my skin beforehand, even put on body oil, and nothing. Maybe it will last longer in spring; I don’t know if it’s for summer. I’ll see.

It’s a complete gourmand; as soon as you smell it, you want to eat a cherry lollipop. I’ve received many compliments, especially from women who come closer (which is great). On skin, it lasts between 4 and 6 hours with 5 sprays; on clothes, I could still smell it on a sweater worn over a week ago. Similarity to Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry: 85% for educated noses, 95% for the inexperienced. In summary: it fulfils the 3 Bs (good, beautiful, and cheap) to the 100%. Always remembering that it remains a 30-dollar perfume, even though in LatAm and especially in Argentina we pay much more due to socialist taxes.

  • At 15, I would have killed to wear this to a party. It sounds super youthful, cheerful, and direct. It gives off good energy. It’s not 100% sweet to my taste.

  • Scott River

Excellent fragrance for the price. A very juicy, boozy cherry at first, which then settles and blends with something sweet and textured, like a biscuit. Totally unisex.

  • Silvianto

I love it. I bought several from Maison Alhambra and this is the one with the best trail and longevity. It smells sweet and boozy, like preserved cherries but exquisite. I liked it very much; my seven-year-old son always wants to smell what I buy and he loved this so much he took it from me. I think it’s more for adults, but I gifted it to him and he adores it. His school teacher asked what perfume I was using because he smelled delicious and it lasted all day. I use it too and love that nobody notices.

  • Good perfume; it doesn’t drive me wild but I do like the boozy cherry scent. It’s a bit more unisex-feminine, but pleasant enough for me to keep. In Chile it’s around 20,000 pesos; I wouldn’t pay more for it. 7.5/10.

Lovely Chérie by Maison Alhambra: An olfactory poem. In the world of perfumery, this brand has sculpted a jewel with Lovely Chérie, an ode to modern femininity. It opens with an explosion of cherries and bergamot reminiscent of a spring garden, fresh and seductive. The heart is floral, with rose, jasmine, and peony that give a velvety softness. The base of amber, musk, and sandalwood adds depth and longevity. The bottle, very Tom Ford style, is elegant and minimalist with gold details. It’s versatile, perfect for day or night, and speaks of confidence. Although I see it as very feminine, it’s both classic and contemporary. It’s a balanced composition that delights and leaves a mark. For those seeking elegance and modernity, it’s an unbeatable choice.

It’s a good perfume, although it doesn’t suit me. I bought it blind and liked it, but it doesn’t smell like my own scent. It’s a very juicy, acidic cherry, yet instead of feeling youthful, it comes across a bit ‘matronly’. Without a doubt, the scent changes on the skin and I give it extra points for that sweet finish; I imagine it textured, like velvet with cherries in syrup. Perhaps it’s just a taste that needs to be acquired over time.

  • It’s sublime, that’s all: a bottle of cherries with fresh roses and a hint of almond powder. It’s so simple yet complex that it feels poetic. If you try it, it’s a total success. It’s elegance bottled as perfume; my mother says it smells of romance, and yes, it’s magnificent. I don’t see it as very masculine or unisex; it seems more suited to a feminine woman of a discreet style who lets the perfume speak for her.

  • Of the Maison Alhambra copies of Tom Ford, this is one of the richest. I bought it blind and was pleasantly surprised. I’m a 24-year-old man; I think it suits ages 17 to 45 and works well as unisex. It performs poorly in winter; with 10 sprays it didn’t create a sillage, but with 12-16 sprays it was noticeable in enclosed spaces without being intrusive, and I received three compliments. The scent quality-to-price ratio is 10/10, sillage 4/10 in winter, and skin longevity 7/10. It’s one of my favourites.

  • Smells like maraschino. It’s sweet, delicious, evolves well, and is perfect for everyday wear. It’s fairly unisex, right in the middle. For those who prefer more masculine fragrances, Just by Anabi is the same but leans more towards men.

  • Have they changed the name and is it now Forbidden Love? Anyway, on my skin it smells like nothing. Poor longevity, sillage, and projection, which is why I say I don’t like it. What a pity; I had high expectations and the performance is a joke.

  • oliendobonito

Even though it’s cheap, I feel it’s not worth it. It doesn’t last at all, smells of cherries, and after an hour there’s nothing left, not even on clothes. It’s a fraud.

  • Try the Tom Ford version and it’s identical, only this one lasts longer. It makes my stomach ache when I apply it, but I love the scent and use it anyway. I don’t know what’s wrong with it.

  • veronicacastrello

Bought it for the price and it’s a disaster; smells extremely synthetic and I don’t like it at all.

  • anamaestracorreo

Beware of Maison Alhambra fakes. I got one that lasted zero. Better to buy the editions from the new bottles and play it safe.

  • I tried the Tom Ford at an airport and loved it, but it was very expensive, so I looked for this budget version said to be almost identical. They resemble each other, but the difference is noticeable. The Tom Ford is soft and delicate; this one has a sharp alcohol kick at the start, with an intense cherry liqueur aroma, then the bitter almond emerges… but it stays stuck on those two notes, doesn’t evolve over time, becomes boring, and lasts very little.

  • I love it. It has a brutal projection and lasted eight hours on me. On my skin, it initially smells of almond and caramel, and over time the cherry comes out more. At first, it smells very synthetic, but once it dries down, it’s spectacular. Everyone who saw it noticed and complimented me. It’s sweet and addictive; I’ll definitely buy it again.

  • The first thing you notice is a full-on maraschino note, followed by almond, amber, and a dusty touch. The projection is beastly, so be careful when applying as it projects heavily. If you like powerful, sweet, cherry-scented perfumes, you’ll adore it; the longevity is impressive, lasting almost intact for 12 hours on my skin. I bought it blind for the cherry note, but honestly, it was too sweet and strong for me.

  • jamonaramona

I was looking for a cherry perfume like this. Although the alcohol is strong at first, within minutes the cherry and almond notes settle in. It doesn’t smell synthetic to me, nor have I tried the Carissima version they claim is a dupe, but this one met my expectations. It doesn’t feel matronly; it’s sweet. The only flaw is that the strong scent doesn’t last long; after 20 minutes it’s already faint with no sillage.

  • JoseMartin

At first, the alcohol is noticeable, but it dries quickly and smells of cherries with an amber touch; it’s unisex. It lasts about 10 hours but doesn’t project much, more of a personal bubble. I see it as a budget-friendly option compared to the Tom Ford one.

  • Stable4550

Almost identical to Lost Cherry by Tom Ford. It has good longevity and moderate sillage. The original is fine and delicate, changing very little throughout the day without losing its cherry note. What about this one? The opening smells synthetic, but within minutes it settles and the cherry emerges with that distinctive bitter almond nuance. It stays there, flat for the entire day. In the end, it leaves me exhausted and I get the impression of cheap perfume base. It’s not bad; it resembles the original very closely and is well-made, but yes, it’s noticeable that it’s the budget copy. Given that, I like it, but it doesn’t fascinate me as much as the original.

  • There was some controversy with Tom Ford and now it’s officially ‘Forbidden Love’, but it smells the same, perhaps slightly longer-lasting as Maison Alhambra has stepped up its game. It’s unisex, though leaning more feminine; on men, it’s absolutely brilliant. In short, it’s super sexy and romantic; that cherry note doesn’t sound synthetic to me – at first it tastes like black cherry liqueur due to the acidity, then it settles beautifully thanks to the almond and evolves very well. I managed to get the 80ml bottle for under €30 at my trusted Arab shop. I’m happy, but I’m not wearing it until this oppressive heat breaks; it’s better for cold weather or the shoulder seasons. Perfect for a date if you want the candidate to devour you.

  • Andrea96321

Do not waste money on this fragrance. The opening is the only good thing: maraschino cherry with wood and spices, and it lasts five minutes. In the dry-down, the cherry disappears and it resembles Benetton’s United Dreams Together, which I dislike nothing. After two hours, there is no scent left; I used it several times consulting people around me, thinking it was a problem with my sense of smell, but confirmed the scent fades into nothing.

  • At first impression, I loved the scent – that powdery almond with a strong cherry base. However, after getting to know it better over the days, I found it more and more disagreeable, as it felt very synthetic and reminded me of a super strong, unbearable cherry room deodorant. I stopped using it after associating it with that type of deodorant.

  • I liked the scent, but on my skin it lasted literally 45 minutes; never has a perfume lasted so little, and on clothes it lasted only a few hours when my other perfumes last weeks. Disappointing performance.

  • In my opinion, it’s incredible. The main note that gives it structure is the almond; it’s such a rich almond that you want to wear it all the time. Then the cherry is felt almost immediately, followed by dates and rose. It’s such a rich scent, but at one point the blend becomes a bit annoying, nothing that can’t be endured. If you like perfumes like this, it’s an incredible option. It cost me $23. I don’t feel the cherry is artificial; I feel it’s real.

  • TíaSarah77

To me, it’s alcoholic, with the cherry touch, very rich in the dry-down. On my skin, it lasts up to 10 hours; I don’t know if the cherry is what everyone is looking for, but I do consider it smells different from others.

  • It’s a magnificent fragrance; it brings to mind what a vampire in a romantic novel would wear. The cherry is delicious and juicy. It’s a sweet and rich perfume, though I must admit the almond note sometimes feels very synthetic. Still, it’s a proper treat. I’d say it’s unisex, although predominantly considered feminine, it is perfectly unisex. The only downside is that it can be cloying at times, but it’s a very good dupe and resembles Lost Cherry quite closely. WARNING, do not use it in summer or it will give you a headache.

  • I bought it because I tried the TF Lost Cherry and loved it, but I wouldn’t spend what that perfume costs. It seemed very similar, with that cherry opening and a warm, comforting dry-down. It’s beautiful; I can’t stop smelling it. The main difference is the longevity, which on my skin is quite reduced (whereas the TF has phenomenal longevity).

  • oliendobonito

If you like the cherry note, you’ll love it. The almond and tonka bean give it body, creating a sensation of slight spice and sweetness at once. It’s not super innovative; it’s made for cherry lovers. It projects well for the first two hours, then settles close to the skin. It’s extremely economical; I know the original Tom Ford is pricey, so if you’re looking for that style, this is a very good option. It’s a heavy fragrance, though it lasts a decent amount (around 7 hours). Ideal for cold weather.

  • Having tried the original Tom Ford and refusing to spend $400, I checked if the $20 dupe was worth it. And honestly, for the price, I find it very worthy. It has a strong, synthetic opening that lasts seconds, then settles into maraschino with almond and low projection. It lasts 4/5 hours, is very pleasant and not invasive. I wouldn’t call it elegant, nor did the original Tom Ford at its price point, but this Arab fragrance is agreeable and semi-formal.

  • I like it, but it doesn’t quite fascinate me. It’s unisex; I bought it without knowing the original, now rebranded as Forbidden Love. It’s not a risky scent – it smells rich and like a cherry dessert, less boozy than I expected, more like a cake. The projection and longevity disappointed me slightly, perhaps it’s just olfactory fatigue, but it lasts for days on clothes.
