About Perseveranza
Perseveranza by Xerjoff: A New Spicy Woody for All
Xerjoff has added Perseveranza to its collection: a woody, spicy composition developed for both women and men. Launched in 2026, it brings a sense of quiet confidence to the house's recent output.
The fragrance opens with an energetic citrus hit before settling into a softer, resinous warmth. It feels modern, but with a structure that nods to classic perfumery.
The opening notes are allspice, ginger and citron. That combination gives a sharp, fragrant brightness, with a touch of heat from the spices and a clean, sharp edge from the citron.
The heart features elemi, vetiver and clove. It's the point where the scent becomes more grounded: vetiver supplies an earthy backbone, elemi adds a subtle incense-like quality, and clove keeps the spiciness present but controlled.
At the base sit tonka bean, labdanum and styrax. This is where Perseveranza reveals its most comforting side, with an ambered sweetness, a faint smokiness and a gentle vanillic softness.
The overall accords are warm and spicy, with aromatic, citrusy, fresh, woody, balsamic and slightly earthy facets. There's also a clear amber and vanillic thread running through the drydown, giving it lasting appeal.
It currently holds a rating of 3.75 out of 5 from 83 reviews, which suggests a fragrance that rewards patience and wears well in everyday situations.
Perseveranza is for those who appreciate a spicy woody scent that doesn't shout. It suits men and women alike, and it will particularly please anyone who enjoys contrasting notes: a fresh start, a green and resinous heart, and a warm, powdery finish.
With Perseveranza, Xerjoff has created a balanced, characterful fragrance that feels both contemporary and timeless. It's easy to recommend to someone seeking a versatile spicy wood with a gentle, lingering presence.

What a marvellous note from Elemí. I have a certain weakness for green fragrances. But given the price and the brand, this one only fulfils my expectations “up to a point.” A green, spicy composition that doesn’t invent anything but is really pleasant to wear. Perhaps it lacks the daring character of the Lambos and a twist that would better fit the striking design style with which the Italian car manufacturer delights us. This is a fragrance that doesn’t shout, and despite being very pleasant, it is also tremendously discreet. I think they have lacked boldness. Lamborghini is not discreet luxury; it’s loud luxury and turns heads, something very difficult to do if you want to be elegant at the same time. I think the composition falls a little short in the absence of that risky aspect that the Lamborghini brand carries with it.
