  • SeleneHdez

Super refreshing, without the mint of the original, which has been more pleasant for me. It’s super soft; I feel it like lemon water; at the start the lemon stands out, then come the flowers, sugar and woods. Moderate longevity and projection. For me, the original reaches saturation, whereas this, on the contrary, feels like part of me.

  • SeleneHdez

It’s an EDT with good performance, medium longevity and moderate to soft trail, exquisite for hot seasons, even at the beach, something I wouldn’t consider for the EDP due to its intensity. The opening has a citrus freshness with a tiny, delicious touch of menthol. It’s very feminine thanks to the white florals. Highly recommended, although every experience is different, I suggest trying it on the skin.

  • Pleasant scent, retains much of the original (Acqua di Gioia EDP); I see it as more flexible because it’s lighter on the sweetness. However, I find it slightly less attractive; perhaps they removed the mint as @SeleneHdez says, but overall it retains the elegance and beauty of the original, albeit with attenuated sweet notes, perfect for summer. I tested both on blotter: the EDT lasted three days and still smells, the EDP lasted a day and a half, I don’t know why. I also noticed the dry-down of the EDT is the same as the heart of the EDP. In conclusion: they sacrificed a bit of the EDP’s artistry to make it fresher, less sweet, with better projection and longevity. But it’s worth it. Apart from that, it’s the same as the EDP I already reviewed.

  • Very fresh, ideal for summer days at the beach. I bought it looking for something soft and it didn’t disappoint. It’s like sea water with lemon, pleasant and refreshing. You have to get close to the skin to notice it; nothing overwhelming. I don’t usually use citrus or aquatic perfumes, but this one captivates me.

  • Total freshness, perfect for beach days. I was looking for something soft and it didn’t disappoint: smells of sea water with lemon, pleasant and refreshing. You have to get close to catch it, nothing overpowering. I’m not usually a fan of citrus or aquatic notes, but this one has got me hooked.

  • Where I live, it’s hot and humid all year, so the fragrance needs to be soft, fresh and non-invasive. This is my most recent purchase and I like it enormously… and so do those around me. Although it’s an EDT, its trail is slightly soapy, feminine and rich. I used the original Aqua di Gio and ended up feeling suffocated, which doesn’t happen with this version.

  • A perfume for the heat of the year, just as spring begins here. I grabbed a tester and loved it. It has personality; I find it delicious. Fresh and sweet, feminine… I think I’ll buy a larger bottle than the tester.

  • In my opinion, it’s the fruitiest version of all the Acqua di Gioias. I’ve tried testers, EDT and Eau Fraiche, and I’m sticking with the original and the Eau Fraiche. It smells good and is pleasant, but I think it’s the least original; very fruity, reminding me of Escada’s summer editions. I see it as a summer scent for young women, almost teenagers.

  • Perfect for summer! Feels much lighter than the EDP. A refreshing scent that lifts your mood, clean and long-lasting. An excellent choice for all those hot days!

  • The opening is citrusy with lemon, orange and bergamot. On my nose, they aren’t so refreshing, but rather astringent and spicy. The oceanic and sea breeze notes make it aquatic, perfect for holidays. Acqua di Gioia is pleasant, but too commercial. I prefer niches from Ibiza or Parma. It’s the feminine equivalent to D&G Light Blue. The salt accord raises the level, but I still prefer other things.

I have it from before it was discontinued and I love it, although I won’t repurchase because it doesn’t last long on the skin. It smells soft, fresh, citrusy and floral, like a freshly showered morning in summer near the sea.

  • It’s an EDT with good performance, medium longevity and a moderate trail. Ideal for heat or the beach, something the EDP isn’t for being more intense. It has a citrus freshness with a subtle and delicious touch of mint. It’s very feminine due to the white flowers. Highly recommended, although every skin is different.

  • This EDT is a real winner, performs like an EDP. Lasts for hours with a lovely trail, soft yet present; it’s totally feminine, unlike the EDP which leans more unisex. I prefer it because it’s sweeter without that strong citrus and minty kick of the EDP. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get it without them reformulating it, hehe, who knows.

  • What a lovely smell this EDT has! It performs like an EDP, lasting hours with a good trail, soft yet present. It’s feminine, unlike the EDP which leans more towards unisex. I prefer the EDT because it’s sweeter without that strong citrus and mentholated touch. I don’t know if I’ll get it reformulated, hehe.

  • Perfumepassion

I had it without realising it was an EDT. Fresh and delicate, just like all the flankers of Di Gioia. Unisex!

  • Perfumepassion

I bought it without knowing it was an EDT. It smells fresh and delicate, like all the flankers of Di Gioia. Totally unisex!

  • It’s fresh and elegant, ideal for heat, but doesn’t last long once it dries down. It reminds me of Thomas Kosmala 4, which disappointed me, just like with another one, although both seemed wonderful at first. Still, I think it’s worth it and is unisex without a doubt.

  • At first I was thrilled, but then I got a bit bored with it. It’s good for summer, smells unisex, and the trail is powerful; people notice it in open spaces.
