I’ve been sceptical about Chloe; they always seemed nice but soulless to me, until I tried Love Story thanks to a Vogue mini. I loved it immediately; at first, I thought of L’Eau d’Issey Absolue or Dior’s J’adore due to that familiar air, although the notes are different. It’s floral, intoxicating, with warm and sweet jasmine and orange blossom, nothing like the excessive freshness of Pure Poison. Finally, a Chloe fragrance that truly identifies with me; I’m sure I’ll buy it for Christmas.
It smells ‘clean’ thanks to that citrus and soapy opening that I love, then it becomes floral, sweet, and tender, relaxing and giving calm. It’s discreet, perfect for the office during the day, although its sillage and longevity are low in my case. The presentation is also a success, with a very well-cared-for box and bottle.
To start, I’m not a huge fan of Chloe; top quality but nothing that spoke to me until now. Thanks to a Vogue mini, I tried Love Story and I was blown away. On smelling it, I thought of L’Eau d’Issey Absolue or Dior’s J’adore, a mystery that similar scent without common notes. It’s floral, intoxicating, with warm and sweet jasmine and orange blossom, unlike others that are fresher like Pure Poison. Finally, a Chloe fragrance that suits me; I’m sure I’ll buy it for Christmas.
It represents that ‘clean’ scent thanks to its soft citrus opening with a soapy touch that I really like. Then it becomes more floral, sweet, and tender, relaxing me and giving me calm. It’s discreet, ideal for wearing at work during the day. The presentation is very well thought out, both the box and the bottle. The only downside is that its sillage and longevity are a bit low for my taste.
Floral with a sweet touch that smells delicious. I love it and it’s very easy to wear. I see it as perfect for girls from the age of 15. It’s not at all heavy, and the notes play in perfect harmony. I have nothing to criticise.
It’s a floral with a sweet touch that smells wonderful. I absolutely love it; it’s super easy to wear and doesn’t feel heavy at all. The notes are in perfect harmony. I see it as ideal for girls from the age of 15. I have nothing to criticise about it.
It’s super floral, feminine, and romantic; it doesn’t have much sillage, but it’s ideal for ‘that special person’ to smell it on you. The bottle, box, and advertising are spectacular and transport you straight to Paris. Among the latest launches, Love Story is one of the best.

Love Story was a delightful surprise (thanks to BlingB for the recommendation). Although I’ve never been a fan of Chloe due to its price and availability, I loved this fragrance for that predominant neroli note that I adore in other scents. It’s a romantic and modern take on the white floral, avoiding any ‘grandma’ vibe. It blends a zesty neroli with jasmine and orange blossom, backed by blackcurrant and peach notes that give it a fruity air without being an overly gourmand scent. It’s fresh, energetic, and accessible, perfect for enjoying without being overwhelming. Unlike more elegant or innocent perfumes, Love Story is mature, versatile, and simple—an ideal balance that doesn’t try to change trends but offers a pleasant, modern experience.
Clean and floral, soft and fresh. It feels like Chloe but with a spiced or patchouli twist.
Love Story was a delightful surprise, thanks to BlingB’s recommendation. Although I’ve never clicked with the brand due to the Eau de Parfum and price, this smells of the future: a modern white floral for Gen Z that avoids being dusty. It combines a vibrant neroli with jasmine and orange blossom, and in the base has touches of blackcurrant and peach that give it a fruity twist without being an overly gourmand scent. It’s carefree, versatile, and less cheesy than a Taylor Swift song; ideal for wearing without overdoing it, with a pleasant sillage and good longevity.
Extremely feminine, even too much for me (and I’m a woman).
It starts very floral, but I love the scent trail it leaves after a few hours: so subtle, delicate and innocent, like a baby fragrance.
Very citrusy opening with a note I thought was neroli, but checking the notes it’s actually neroli. Once that citrus phase passes, in a couple of minutes the jasmine appears, followed more strongly by the orange blossom. This will be the star until almost the end. At the end, the musk and cashmere will emerge, but you’ll always sense the orange blossom. Perhaps it powders slightly towards the end, but very subtly; my impression is that it smells fresh throughout its performance, even sometimes a bit brassy. Good longevity and good projection at the start. Very pleasant, but I think it doesn’t stand out among white florals. It’s correct, but it lacks a marked personality; I don’t find it unique.
Love Story is what you’re looking for without straying from the classic Chloé. Clean and lively. More of the same, but with springtime citrus and rose notes with a touch of powdery orange blossom. It’s not that I like it or not… it’s that I sometimes crave that bold freshness, ideal after a shower to go to class or work. If you’re looking for that, you’ve got it here. It has a brassy, strident opening, but that’s how it should be to grab attention and feel active. I’ll use it but won’t renew it.
It’s a smell I never tire of; it smells delicious. My mum has one, and I go to her wardrobe to sniff it constantly; it’s like a drug.
It’s not unpleasant and carries the Chloé stamp, but the opening felt a bit sharp. I’m not sure if it’s the neroli or the lemon, but I don’t start to enjoy it until about fifteen minutes in. Then it’s a flower party with no single note dominating, although the jasmine is noticeable but subtle. It finishes with a soft, pleasant musky and woody base. Sillage and longevity are moderate. Verdict: it’s a pretty scent, especially in the heart and dry-down, but it lacks an accord to be unforgettable.
Ideal for a bride in spring, in a garden of white flowers with a subtle, romantic dress. It’s fresh, light, innocent and super spring-like. Perfect as a gift or for the office, totally inoffensive. Lasts about eight hours on skin: moderate projection for the first four hours, then becomes intimate.
Floral, fresh and citrusy, very elegant and distinctive. Smells clean yet sophisticated. Lasts a long time with moderate sillage. I like it, but something doesn’t quite win me over. I won’t repurchase, but I’ll keep it for special occasions like a summer wedding.
What a beautiful perfume! It’s a fragrance that gives pure pleasure when worn, an absolute delight.
Nothing extra to add; it smells soft and subtle, romantic. The classic ‘I don’t love it, but it tastes good’.
