  A very good option for summer. It retains much of the original character, with a fresher opening thanks to the citrus. I thought that being a fresh water scent, it wouldn’t last long, but although the citrus opening evaporates quickly, the jasmine, tea, and ylang-ylang notes linger for hours with a soft, sweet aroma that isn’t heavy. I could still smell it at the end of the day, and it lasts quite a while on clothes.

  I absolutely love this perfume. Some might find it unisex or masculine due to the marine notes, but it doesn’t feel that way to me. It’s incredibly fresh from the citrus (though barely perceptible), subtle from the aquatic notes, sweet from the jasmine and ylang-ylang but tolerable, even with the final musk. Perfect for Sunday walks outdoors. It’s an essential in my collection.

  I have the 2013 batch. Perhaps due to its age, what I notice is JASMINE, slightly acidic and fresh at the start thanks to the citrus, but very natural and realistic. It retains that subtle sugary hint of the original. It’s super floral, with a creamy, fleshy, green, and delicate jasmine that isn’t sweet at all. It’s the closest I’ve found to actually smelling the plant.

  I bought it when it first launched. I imagined it would be fresher; there was one note that didn’t quite agree with me, but I finished the bottle. Its trail is moderate and longevity is light to moderate; it received few compliments, though I might buy it again if it’s reformulated.

  The 2010 version of Acqua di Gioia is the best! A delicious citrus fragrance, musky with jasmine and a sweet aquatic touch. In short: lemon, grapefruit, jasmine, musk, and wood. Highly recommended. Do not confuse it with the 2022 or 1996 versions; those are pure jasmine and they disgust me.

  I’m not sure which version this is, but I received it as a gift in 2017 and still have it. It’s the 100ml bottle, and as a citrus lover, I used to wear it for special occasions or evening outings. It’s fresh, citrusy, and lasts for over eight hours.
