Very rich, super fresh opening and slightly citrusy. It has an air of Escada’s Miami Bloom, reminds me of it a lot. It’s that kind of fresh fragrance that has surprised me, as I’m a fan of Escada’s summer scents.
In a nutshell: sweet, synthetic and soft pear. The bottle is gorgeous, but I’m keeping it only for that.
Very rich and fresh, I picked it up on promotion. I already had Acqua di Gio and Acqua di Gioia, and this is quite different, with a citrusy touch at the start. It lasts quite a while on the skin.
Am I the only one who finds a similarity with Fructis hair masks?
In theory it’s a summer scent, so it would make sense in Northern Europe, but here in the Mediterranean I’d be stifled. I’d only wear it during those two weeks of spring or autumn, or on cool evenings. It smells of super-fruity white flowers; at first it tastes like bottled juice and almost overpowers the floral notes, though I don’t detect the salty touch they mention. Moreover, despite the name, nothing about it feels fresh or aquatic to me; at first it’s too sweet and synthetic. On dry down, however, I like it more: the sweetness mellows, the flowers emerge and a touch of musky wood appears. The vibe is expensive, ostentatious tropical holidays, Instagram style, on a terrace with a pear cocktail and a phone that makes followers jealous. I’ve read others say it doesn’t last, but it sticks to me all day and more than three sprays disgust me (I tend to spray without fear). Conclusion: I wouldn’t buy it as it’s not my style, but I enjoy it and I’m glad it was a gift.
It smells like old-fashioned Fructis shampoo, which isn’t bad, but at the price I’ve seen it for, I don’t think it’s worth it.
Fall in love with it when I tried it in the pharmacy, but I still haven’t bought it: it seems too expensive and I didn’t notice it lasted long. To me, it smells original, characterful, fresh and youthful.
