Descripción
Chance Eau Tendre by Chanel is a floral fruity fragrance for women. Launched in 2010, this composition was created by perfumer Jacques Polge. Upon release, the scent unfolds the freshness of quince and grapefruit; the heart reveals the delicacy of hyacinth and jasmine; while the base settles on musk, iris, Virginia cedar and amber.

My current signature scent… A luminous, juicy, fresh outing… And over time, everything wraps in the musk; it’s a non-offensive, soft, feminine smell. The only downside is the longevity: on me, it lasts about 3 or 4 hours, but apparently, even if I don’t feel it, it lingers softly close to the skin for up to 7 hours maximum. But it doesn’t matter to me as I love its scent; I identify with this fragrance. I don’t feel it imposing or empowered as I once wanted to be, rather, I feel it tender and authentic. Every time I apply it, I feel happy and feminine, with a touch of class, perfect for everyday life.
I quite like it when I want something soft; it’s gentle, zero invasive, and personal. It has always given me the impression of smelling like moisturiser. It seems like an excellent option when you want a refreshing, clean, and feminine scent. Eau Tendre is 100% that: a soft, delicate water.
Delicious, it’s a fresh scent, a sweet note that isn’t heavy and youthful, with a wide age range. Pity the longevity isn’t very good for what an original costs; otherwise, 10/10. Regarding dupes, at least Zara’s Apple Juice doesn’t feel the same to me; it feels more like Chance Eau Fraiche than this, and I don’t like that or other Chanel scents much. It’s very difficult to imitate this perfume; the combination of notes is simply perfect.
Soft, feminine, quince scent predominates. I love wearing it during the day, especially in spring and summer; it makes me feel fresh, clean, and very feminine. Although I don’t like assigning an ‘age’ to perfumes, I believe this evokes a young adult woman. My only complaint is that the trail is moderate, bordering on soft, and the longevity isn’t very good. For the price, I expected much more.
Very pleasant and feminine aroma, but honestly, I wouldn’t pay today’s price again. I enjoyed the 35ml bottle, but if I want to smell like this again, I’ll opt for Zara’s ‘Apple Juice’, which smells very similar (or almost identical), with comparable performance and a notably lower price. Like Tous Love me (the pink bear one), this version does smell similar and has a much longer trail. I enjoyed it, but I won’t be repurchasing.
Exquisite fragrance, goes well with everything, especially in spring. I love it.
My favourite perfume for years; I’ve been wearing it since 2014 and buy it constantly. It’s exquisite, elegant, fresh, and delicate, perfect for spring and summer.
A must-have, a delicious fragrance, very feminine, cheerful, and it never goes wrong, ideal for spring. It’s subtle yet present. I highly recommend it for personal use or as a gift; it’s one of those fragrances that never fails.
My husband gifted me this for Christmas, and at first, I thought it was a ‘nice but not my favourite’. I gave it many chances, but now that spring has arrived and the cold has faded… it’s a different story! 😍 It’s floral and fruity, fresh. You can definitely detect the quince with the jasmine, and it’s superb. I can’t pinpoint the exact scent, but I imagine the musk and amber give it a very soft, sweet touch. There’s also a subtle talcum-like note. It has become an essential for this season and summer; perfect for daily wear and those fresh spring days out. 🤗
Generally, my skin has terrible longevity with perfumes, and even sweat changes their scent… But this… THIS, is a miracle. I never thought I’d find a fragrance that would stay with me for so long and keep its original aroma! It smells soapy, clean, as if we were smelling delicate flower cream. Very feminine and soft, without losing its trail. I love it, nothing more to say.
My brother gave it to me for my wedding and I’ve worn it since then during emotional and nostalgic moments, because my husband passed away. It’s linked to happiness and luck. When I want to feel secure or wish well for something, I wear it. It’s very floral, has a strong sillage, lasts several hours on me and much longer on clothes. I feel that the more I move or sweat a little, the more it intensifies. If it’s for women of middle age, I’m 34. It doesn’t feel very right for younger girls. I felt like a ‘Lady of Las Lomas’ (very elegant and distinguished) when I wore it.
I simply adore it. It’s an exquisite, fresh and feminine fragrance. On my skin it lasts quite well for about six hours, and much longer on clothes.
It’s lovely; I was enchanted the first time I tested it, but when I went to buy it and tested it again, I found it extremely short-lived and very expensive for its performance, despite being Chanel.
Sometimes fragrances don’t need to be complex to be truly enchanting. Chance Eau Tendre is a clear example. It’s beautiful, clean, feminine, elegant, fresh and gives me peace when I wear it. It’s the second one I own and I won’t hesitate to repurchase.
I love it; it’s very fresh and clean, smells wonderful and lasts for hours. I do recommend it highly.
It smells like hand cream, but the kind that gives you a headache, for ladies.
I love when a perfume smells like a lady. What do ladies smell like? Clean? Fresh? Elegant? Feminine? That’s what I sense in this perfume; it evokes all of that. Delicious. Note: I enjoy a few gourmet and sweet scents, but constantly smelling like a bakery isn’t for me.
It remains one of my favourites alongside Miracle by Lancôme… A feminine and sophisticated fragrance. I love it.
It’s an elegant, feminine and very clean scent. It’s not cloying, but after months of use I grew bored with it (or perhaps I associated it with my old job and it no longer bothers me).
I think it’s a lovely aroma; it smells like expensive shower gel, but it didn’t blow my mind. It’s sweet, but I feel it’s too pricey for what it is, plus it has a very weak sillage and doesn’t last long on my skin. I’d rather buy the Zara dupe.
Slightly sweet floral with citrus opening and dry-down. The scent is beautiful and perfect for daily heat, but that touch of citrus started to bother me until I could no longer tolerate it. I advise trying before buying.
Elegant and fresh.
It’s my favourite for hot days. A 10/10 fragrance, clean, elegant and feminine; what a pity it doesn’t last almost anything on my skin nor leaves a trail.
This smells like Barbie and, unsurprisingly, it’s the perfume my boyfriend has praised the most.
Super acidic opening due to the grapefruit mixing with the sweetness of the quince. It smells like Barbie; it’s fresh for spring or summer. I don’t consider it sweet; in fact, I find it too acidic and tiring. Over time the jasmine stands out, but I don’t detect lavender. It’s nice, classic and elegant for heat, but I wouldn’t spend the money; there are similar options for much less.
My absolute favourite, it’s a love. I receive many compliments; it’s a white floral with citrus and very musky, smelling like shower gel. It’s tender yet sophisticated; you love it blindly and it’s perfect as a gift. A little gem.
It’s sparkling, energetic and vibrant. At first it doesn’t smell like what you expect; you have to let it settle. It’s not cloying, you can detect the quince, and it’s super youthful and feminine. I recommend it for daytime in spring.
Fresh, sweet and beautiful, I love it. What a shame that, despite being so expensive, it doesn’t last more than two hours on my skin.
What a lovely, fresh and fruity scent; it smells like my Barbies from childhood. It’s youthful, coquettish and pink in its tenderness, ideal for spring and summer. I prefer it to the EDP; it’s super feminine for daytime. On my dry skin it lasts about 6-8 hours and on clothes more than a day.
I’ve had this for two years and it’s crazy: now it lasts all day, whereas before it barely lasted two hours. The scent waves are spectacular, but I feel suffocated by that musky note which dries out my throat. What a pity; it’s very feminine, but that powdery aspect kills me.
It’s a very pretty, soft and elegant scent for daily use; I find it very similar to Omnia Pink, mind you, they’re not the same but they share certain similarities.
I bought this EDT blind yesterday (online) and it was due to arrive next week. A couple of hours ago, my boyfriend and I happened to pass a perfumerie. I went in and tried this one. Horrible. I didn’t like the opening, but especially the dry-down, which I dislike; on top of that, the scent lingers quite a bit. I don’t perceive any floral notes. It smelled one way on the paper, but on my skin it left a strong, somewhat bitter and green scent, almost mossy. I don’t know what it is, but I can still smell it and am about to wash my wrist; I can’t stand it. It feels strong, and a bit more of it would make me feel nauseous or dizzy. My boyfriend says it smells like air freshener, not like a person’s fragrance. I cancelled the order as soon as I got home. Moral of the story: don’t buy perfumes blind, no matter how good the reviews are.
Light Elegance: the opening is lively and sparkling thanks to the citrus notes, which quickly give way to a delicate floral bouquet, like a freshly cut bunch. It’s youthful, carefree and elegant, with that light touch that hooks you at first. As it dries down, it changes considerably: the iris emerges, making it powdery with a more distinguished air. If you like powdery scents, you’ll enjoy this; if not, it might shock you. It doesn’t have a great trail or projection, and its longevity depends heavily on the skin, though it’s usually moderate. It’s perfect for spring and summer, for everyday wear, the office or university, and even as a gift (it’s one of Chanel’s most gifted due to its fresh, youthful profile). It works very well in casual, bright settings, but not so much for elegant evenings or cold weather. My rating: 8/10. A beautiful, fresh and delicate fragrance, ideal for those seeking light elegance and easy wearability.
Now that I’ve used this fragrance, I realise I didn’t appreciate it before. It’s not one of my favourites at the moment, though there were times when it was the only one I wore. It’s excessively expensive for such a simple and easily imitated scent; there are many good dupes on the market and it’s easy to like. I detect a very citrusy and herbal/fruity vibe rather than floral; the grapefruit and quince are noticeable all the time until it fades. It doesn’t last long, but the scent is fresh and pretty. It makes a good blind gift.
Smells clean, like an expensive shower gel; very pleasant to almost everyone’s nose and cheerful. The price is a bit high, but it’s very lovely.
Chance Eau Tendre is a beautiful fragrance, a cool fruity style typical of Chanel. I detect plenty of quince and the house’s signature musk, giving it a slightly talc-like, clean finish; it’s casual yet formal, feminine and elegant, ideal for a great first impression and an almost perfect gift for any woman. Performance is good, projection is moderate but noticeable, and longevity in my case is seven hours or more; it lingers on clothes for two days without issue. Overall, it’s less sober and more youthful than the original Chance, yet equally luxurious, silent and impactful.
My mother owns the deodorant version and it smells different; I have a comparison review. On hers, it smells lovely with tender, fruity notes; on me, it’s awful, like pine floor cleaner mixed with persistent, nauseating florals. I’m so disappointed. I tested it in the afternoon by the Mediterranean coast and it was a disaster. It vanished after two hours, leaving only a shrill air freshener trail that put me in a terrible mood. It’s not youthful, though it is fresh; if you enjoy that pine-and-amber accord, it’s your worst nightmare. Of all the Chance scents, only Eau Vive satisfies me. I bathe in it, just as Marilyn Monroe said. ✨
Smells delicious; the note combination is among my favourites. I barely detect the top notes before the florals take over. I loved it. I tested it and bought it. However, I’m quite disappointed by its longevity. It lasts nothing on either skin or clothes. I’m not sure if it’s me or the fragrance, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
Smells rich and soapy, like shampoo, but the longevity and price mean it’s simply not worth it.
One of my favourites for spring or fresh days. It lasts all day, especially on clothes. Absolutely delicious! 🩷
