Descripción
Bleu de Chanel Parfum by Chanel is an aromatic woody fragrance for men. Launched in 2018, this composition was created by perfumer Olivier Polge. The opening unfolds a vibrant freshness thanks to lemon zest, bergamot, mint and hyssop. The heart reveals a floral and fruity harmony with lavender, pineapple, geranium and green notes. The base settles on a warm and woody foundation formed by sandalwood, cedar, Amberwood, Iso E Super and tonka bean.

I’m at a loss; my nose is leading me astray. It’s delicious and so uplifting that I completely ignore my conscience warning me about its ridiculously short duration. Poor projection, no sillage, a growing impotence that eventually forced me to call and berate a friend who works in a Duty Free to see if I’d been sold a counterfeit. I got paranoid and performed a radical ‘Originality Test’ on both the bottle and the box (thanks YouTube), but still not satisfied, I went to a perfumerie and gave myself a good ‘squirt’ from the tester. Yes, unfortunately my perfume is original (and no one in my circle can smell it). At 50, I understand there are different aroma typologies with their own functions, durations, etc. But what Chanel has brought to the market should live up to its name, and as for PARFUM, not a chance. I’m eager for an Arab house to release a clone that solves this disaster.
Bleu de Chanel Parfum. A modern classic. It’s clear this is the most concentrated of the three. Elegant, fresh, neat and versatile. I don’t see it for anyone under 20, but from 25 upwards it’s a total fragrance.
After using it for a month straight and going through an entire bottle of the EDP, I feel compelled to leave an emphatic message: please, do not buy it. Go for the EDP if you love the DNA, which, by the way, is beautiful. Longevity, sillage and projection are at levels of ridicule, not just because of the exorbitant price of the brand and the parfum, but compared to any commercial perfume. Even the top notes (the minutes it lasts) convey little or nothing. It feels like a total abandonment by the line and the brand. It’s like walking into an empty house. Very timid woody notes and something citrusy in the opening, just enough to remind you it’s Bleu, but clearly destined to be forgotten. It conveys apathy and lethargy. I insist, the DNA of Bleu de Chanel is gorgeous and no other blue fragrance comes close in quality. But today, only the EDP remains alive, a true piece of haute parfumerie. The Parfum is a complete fiasco.
For the price, it should last 12 hours, not 6. It doesn’t smell as refined as other Chanel scents, such as Egoiste, Pour Monsieur or Antaeus, nor is it more refined than the EDT or EDP versions. It simply smells more amber-like than those two. The Bleu line doesn’t impress me, and neither does this one. 5/10.
It’s a great fragrance. I see many people complaining about its poor projection, but I don’t think it’s a scent designed to grab attention; rather, it feels more intimate. The quality of the ingredients really shows, it has good longevity, and it’s a perfume you can wear all year round.
I am writing a second review of this perfume, a year (two autumns) after using it, and the reason is a total change of opinion compared to when I bought it. The first aspect I now see differently is subjective: regarding what I like about the aroma. At the time, I thought it was incredible; today I believe it is very good and of exceptional quality, but I prefer the EDP. This version is very woody from the start, whereas I prefer the freshness of the EDP. I insist that in any case, the scent is of exceptional quality. The second aspect where I changed my mind, and here against objective evidence, is its longevity. It lasted 1.5 hours then, and now it does not drop below 8 hours; with low projection but an enormous sillage that lingers in the air for a while. Always speaking of the settings it is made for: office, enclosed spaces, etc. If it lands on clothes, it does not wash out for more than a day. It is incredible and is not a demonstration of maceration, but evidently the perfume has evolved over a year, and for the better. Chanel’s quality is never in doubt, and in this Parfum version, it stands out far above almost everything available from designers. Wearing it with a clean, elegant look, which needs nothing more than a white shirt, elevates you several rungs up the ladder.
I see a lot of unjustified hatred for this fragrance. It is high quality and, despite lacking strong projection and longevity, it has many excellent points. I do not detect any woody notes, but rather a distinct citrus, as if smelling a freshly cut orange with a powdery touch and a faint hint of pineapple. It feels like a masculine version of Chance and Chanel 5 L’Eau: distinguished. Although its sillage is poor, it leaves a trail and a minimum longevity of 3 hours on the skin. I have received many compliments; people who hug me or come close are never indifferent. For a parfum, it is very versatile for daily wear, classy yet fresh and clean, and sexy in intimacy. Quality 9, Longevity 7, Sillage 7, Projection 5, Scent 9.
The performance is a disaster. I agree with those who say perfumes should stick to their original versions and that flankers should vanish. With very few exceptions, some are worth it, but obviously not this one. They promised it was a PARFUM concentration, yet it smells like wet hair. The scent of Bleu is wonderful, but its best version is undoubtedly the original EDT.
It is an olfactory wonder. A richly luxurious perfume of undeniable quality. Perhaps not everyone will take to its notes, but the vast majority will absolutely adore it.
I own both the EDP and this Parfum. The first is more youthful and sparkling, while the second is slightly darker and more serious thanks to the masterful blend of its base notes. Both are expertly constructed with undeniable quality ingredients; the only difference is the seriousness. As for performance, the Parfum is light years ahead of the EDP. They are worth their price!
An absolute beast of a perfume! I have used it since its release in 2018; mellowed, it is a gem. It inspires confidence, elegance, and cleanliness. I have nothing more to say; I lived my best twenties immersed in Bleu Parfum.
On my skin it projects for a short while; perhaps it’s my fault for being too selfish with the sprays xD. I like the aroma; it doesn’t resemble any in my collection; I would like to find a dupe that convinces me as I have less than half left and, given the price, I don’t think I will buy it again haha. I liked it; I would have perhaps preferred better projection, but the longevity close to the skin doesn’t disappoint me ^^ 78/100
Hello everyone… I have a batch from 2018 that I had forgotten about since its release… I don’t know if it mellowed or what, but it turned toxic. I sprayed it twice today and it concentrated a lot.
Bleu de Chanel has been my signature since its release; I have used several bottles of the regular version and now I have the Parfum. They say these things smell on you but not on anyone else, and although I always said ‘I’ll be me but no one smells my cologne’ and had good perfumes with poor projection, Bleu de Chanel is different. I love its versatility and scent, but for the price Chanel should do a bit better. Nevertheless, the Parfum is highly recommended if you don’t mind the projection and longevity, as everyone will love it and it suits any time of year. I believe it is the most versatile quality fragrance you can buy.
This fragrance has me hooked… I don’t know if it’s my skin, but I feel it changes. Depending on the temperature, it feels more citrusy when it’s cool and smoky with the heat. It confuses me; I can’t quite get my head around it… the quality is evident but it is very changeable.
It didn’t last nearly long enough. The top notes are lovely but last only two or three minutes. The scent faded after an hour, and by two hours it was almost unnoticeable. It is a rich fragrance, a clean smell with soft lavender.
For me, it is the best of the three Bleu de Chans. I feel it like the Eau de Parfum without the bitterness of the grapefruit, keeping the citrus touch, without the incense, and with a spicy note like cinnamon that is its special touch.
What a wonder, my god! It’s a pity it’s so stupidly expensive; I bought the 50ml and was tempted by the larger bottle, but the price held me back. It’s exquisite, smells like a classy man, and works for everything. I noticed a significant difference compared to the Club de Nuit Iconic (which is a dupe of the EDT/EDP). Longevity: maximum five hours.
I used to hate the EDT due to bad childhood memories, but this version is pure masterpiece: masculine, sexy, woody, and citrusy, with a sophisticated depth that borders on niche.
A luxury perfume I absolutely loved, yet on my skin the Parfum version barely lasts more than three hours.
Elegant and modern at the same time; the name is apt. It has blue aromas, like freshly showered, with woody and citrus notes; when dry, sandalwood predominates. Ideal for any occasion, though I recommend it for special events. It’s a 10/10, even if it’s pricey, as I’m fascinated by its scent and longevity.
I don’t understand why people say it doesn’t last; it lasted about 12 hours on me, though the last traces were close to the skin. It has good longevity, but lacks projection and sillage. It’s not necessary for dates and close encounters, and this perfume is perfect for that due to its charm in proximity. It’s an exquisite choice; it’s the one that fascinates my girlfriend the most, alongside Acqua di Gio Profondo EDP. Every time I go out with her, I wear it and feel like a king. If you’re looking for a beast mode to project, this isn’t it. It’s intimate and private, perfect for dates all year round due to its versatility. A true gem; the only downside is the price.
An exquisite perfume. Bleu de Chanel Parfum is strong with moderate performance, but excellent for me. It’s elegant, modern and very masculine; it doesn’t seek attention like others, but makes a great first impression before fading to invite you closer. Ideal for dates: it smells powerful at first, then becomes a personal bubble so as not to overwhelm anyone. Perfect for greeting everyone and having them say how nice you smell. Don’t use more than 7-8 sprays unless it’s cold, as it can be overpowering. It stays strong for 3-4 hours before lingering in your personal bubble.
It’s my all-time favourite and the one I wear most often. It evokes wonderful memories and is the definitive fougère, simply spectacular. It opens with citrus notes of lemon and mandarin, evolves into an aromatic heart of geranium and lavender, and settles on sandalwood and cedar. It’s elegant, sophisticated and versatile, with good longevity and an acceptable sillage. I feel it’s better suited for intimate wear, ideal for spring and autumn, day or night, perfect for dates, events or catching up with friends.
After much excitement, I feel a slight disappointment. Longevity wasn’t its strong point, but I expected more. It’s an excellent perfume with a lovely scent and good quality, but the price is high and the longevity doesn’t meet my expectations.
I’ve had it since 2019 and it gets better every year, projecting more; it’s an excellent purchase.
I have two clear moments: the opening reminds me of a blend between Dylan Blue, Savage, and the original Bleu, while the dry-down lands on wood with more emphasis. But its performance is terrible; it doesn’t last more than an hour. It fades and projects nothing, simply disappearing. For the price, it’s pathetic how little it delivers.
It was my office signature for years (EDP version), so versatile I wore it out and even to my wedding. Lasts at least eight hours with strong initial projection. A citrus scent with a woody base, very masculine. If you enjoy the world of perfumes, you must try it. It continues to command respect and elegance, a timeless Chanel gem.
Smells like pure divine magic, an exquisite and sophisticated blend that always makes me do a double-take. It’s super versatile, perfect for day or night unless it’s very hot. Intense and lasts over 12 hours on my privileged skin. Without a doubt, one of my top three in the collection, a must-have.
I’m still discovering quality fragrances. I bought a decant of Blue de Chanel Parfum and loved it. At first, I didn’t notice much citrus, but then a lovely floral, lavender, and woody note emerges. Projects well for the first three to four hours, though it fades; by six hours it’s almost imperceptible but leaves a subtle trail. I recommend it for my collection.
I love the scent; it is intoxicating and very elegant. Its main problem is longevity, and I am glad to see I am not the only one. I feared it might be a clone, but that is a common flaw. I do not have a privileged pH; it smells great but does not perform as much.
The best in the Bleu line, full stop. It is a step above the others. Lasts over 12 hours on skin and 24 on clothes. Pure elegance, the best to represent Chanel in gentlemen.
The best in the Bleu line, without doubt. Can you smell clean, elegant, sexy, and imposing at the same time? Yes. Not for a club; it screams class. Extremely addictive. If you are looking for a fragrance for a lifetime, this is the option or top three. The price is its major negative point.
One of the most elegant and masculine I have tried. Reminds me of a well-dressed person by the sea. Excellent, if not for the exorbitant price.
It has virtues and flaws, like everything. The scent is a masterpiece, soft and enveloping. It is addictive and seductive, but projection and longevity are low for a parfum, plus the high price. I recommend it without expecting too much.
The best of them all, that dry-down is exquisite!
Class, elegance, and unique. Flawless; everyone should own one. Yes, it is expensive, but worth it: good performance and trail. A safe blind buy.
A dynamic powerhouse. Just four sprays and I was already complimented. Smells like a well-dressed, sexy, high-status winner. It has immense aura.
Extraordinary scent, nobody complains. The best part is the opening; the downside is it fades quickly. A pity given the high price.
The Channel line never misses: elegant and rich, though sometimes the woody notes sting a bit on certain people. Perfect for special occasions; women adore it, but beware: it lasts barely any time and is pricey.
