Elysium Noir by Roja Dove is an aromatic woody fragrance for men and women. This creation, signed by perfumer Antoine Cotton, was launched in 2025. Upon its release, the composition unfolds with heliotrope, geranium, hedione, lemon, bergamot, lavender, orange and mandarin. The heart reveals blackberry and rose, while the base settles on ambroxan, juniper berry, incense, patchouli, cardamom, leather, pink pepper, coumarin, cypress and sandalwood.

I tried it from a sample I ordered. Smells nice but is commercial; it brings to mind one of the YSL Y scents. Checking the notes, I think it’s the Elixir. Perhaps The Perfumer is a Ropion apprentice, who knows.
Very generic, except for the bottle which is gorgeous and eye-catching. Smells like a blue fragrance, reminiscent of Sauvage EDT but without the pepper and greener. That’s it.
Tested at ECI: the bottle is smart, but the scent is commercial, the most mainstream in the collection. Longevity is poor; after two hours I have to reapply it to my skin. I’ll give it another go, but it doesn’t look promising. Edit: the drier it gets, the more it smells like the YSL Y line DNA.
