Were it not for the Inditex limit, this would be a 10 and I’d pay a niche price. It opens fruity without being cloying or overly sweet; the juniper berry and orange combo is perfect. Then comes a beautiful orris (not iris, mind you, they smell different), with a soft rose, all over a woody base of real cedar, patchouli, vetiver, and ambroxan that gives it strength. Fortunately, I don’t detect geranium. It’s incredible to distinguish all the notes in an EDP at this price. I don’t think it’s in the style of Dior Homme Intense, which smells more classic and powdery; here the iris root is creamy, almost buttery. It reminds me more of the iris in Les Bras de Morphée by Helenist Paris. The woody base merely supports, without standing out. Moderate trail, nothing beastly. Brutal longevity: on hydrated skin, it projects for about 3 hours and then lingers on the skin until 10-11. It suits any season and occasion, rare to find such versatility. It doesn’t suffocate in summer or at 40°C. Ideal for the office or confident dates, with an intimate touch I love. Indispensable for going to get bread and porridge. Try it, it’s free, and if you like it, think about buying it; it’s an EDP of exceptional quality.

Then a beautiful orris (not common iris) shines, blended with soft rose, all over a base of real cedar and patchouli+vetiver that give it strength. I’m glad I don’t detect geranium, a note I usually hate. It’s impressive that all the notes are distinguishable in an EDP at this price. Unlike Dior Homme Intense (more classic and powdery), here the iris is creamy and buttery, reminiscent of Les Bras de Morphée. The wood merely supports, it doesn’t dominate. Moderate trail, ideal for any season; it doesn’t suffocate in summer or at 40°C. Perfect for the office or confident dates, with an intimate touch like ‘This is Her’. Indispensable for going to get bread and porridge. Tried it, it’s free, and if you like it, buy it: exceptional quality.

Another gem from Massimo Dutti: Glorious Escape mixes berries, lavender, and iris root in a cosmetic scent, like lipstick, very similar to iris. The rose passes by and the orange stays in the background, like a ripe fruit. As it dries, green notes of patchouli, vetiver, or ambroxan emerge, but what stands out most are the woods. It’s creamy, elegant, and reminiscent of Dior Homme Intense. Good performance and nothing mass-produced.

Another gem from Massimo Dutti: Glorious Escape combines berries, lavender, and iris root in a cosmetic scent, like lipstick, that lasts a lifetime. The rose accompanies without taking centre stage, and the orange lingers like fallen fruit. As it dries, green notes of patchouli, vetiver, and ambroxan appear, but the woods stand out. A creamy, elegant aroma. It reminds me much of Dior Homme Intense, but it’s wonderful, with great performance and nothing mass-produced.

At first, I thought it had a lot in common with Dhi and perhaps something of Dhp, but as it dries, distinct woods are revealed. It’s not bad at all and holds up well. Dutti continues to produce decent items at prices that aren’t Zara-level.
