Florian Gallo, a renowned perfumer, has extraordinary energy and a great love for discovering new aromas that reflect his passion for perfumery. Born with a natural curiosity, Florian was fascinated by the world of perfumery at an early age. He frequently visited Grasse during his family holidays and felt drawn to the magic of fragrances. It was this fascination that inspired him to pursue a career in perfumery.

Florian began his journey by enrolling in courses at the Versailles School of Perfumery and later at ISIPCA and Robertet in Grasse. During his studies, he travelled extensively to Argentina and England, where he gained invaluable experience and was exposed to new cultures.

Today, Florian is a perfumer at Firmenich in Shanghai, China, where he immerses himself in local culture and society. He is the first perfumer working from the workshop office, and he is passionate about the new technologies and ingredients that Firmenich offers to enhance his perfumery palette. Florian believes that Artificial Intelligence is a powerful tool for creating fragrances with greater precision, and he is excited to explore its potential.

Apart from perfumery, Florian has a passion for cooking and enjoys creating combinations of spicy flavours, an inheritance from his Armenian mother. His love of cooking and of experimenting with different flavours also serves as a source of inspiration in his perfumery creations.
