  1. Mabebriba

What a beautiful scent, it’s incredibly delicate and feminine, clean and elegant. A work of art. ♥️

  2. Reneleblanc

If you want to be labelled nostalgic and looked at with that reverential fear of ‘who let Grandma out?’, here is the perfect fragrance. All the luxury of smelling like history, but without the grace of being remembered.

  3. Andrea76

I’ve worn it for a few years. To me, it’s synonymous with sophistication, elegance, and power. I would buy it again; it’s for those occasions where you need to make a presence without shouting that you’re there. I don’t wear it daily, but it performs well on skin and clothes.

  4. irovatti

Literally, a bath of musk. I have other fragrances I like that contain musk in their composition, but in just the right measure. Here, I only perceive musk and a hint of acidic bergamot. A debut and a farewell.

I don’t know, I see it as something for a woman over 50 who suffers from incontinence and tries to hide her smell with this perfume. The typical old lady who smells strong, like sweaty lower parts.

  6. I met the EDP brother through my aunt when I was 14; every time I greeted her when she returned from work, I fell in love with the smell she had. At 14, I already knew that when I grew up, I would buy a Narciso Rodriguez, a madwoman. A few years ago, a perfumer gave me a sample of this EDT and it ended up convincing me more. For me, if elegance, sensuality, and mystery had a scent, it would be this perfume; you can feel the quality the brand handles in the first spray. I love it forever.

  7. @Hannibal, you’ve broken a record. In more than ten years on Fragrantica, you’ve managed to win the award for the most unpleasant review I’ve read. You, possibly, will never suffer from incontinence (when you emerge from the puberty you should be immersed in physically or mentally, you might have other things), but know that without those women over 50 with incontinence, you would never have been born, and hey, a disagreeable, ignorant, and rude person less than the world would have lost. But anyway, I suppose you won’t have understood this comment given your solitary neuron which, for the little it serves you, is for echoing in your immature brain.

  8. I gave it to my mother years ago and she loved it. Since then, it’s her go-to perfume; every time she wears it, she receives a compliment. You must know that it’s a fragrance where musk predominates, besides a musk that is neither discreet nor precisely soft, it has body and trail, as well as good longevity. As it dries down, the other notes become noticeable; specifically, I notice the amber and vetiver, I don’t manage to perceive the osmanthus, I suppose due to lack of experience. For this reason, I think it’s more suitable for autumn and winter. It gives a sensation of warmth and cleanliness, of purity. It has a touch of elegance, sensuality, and class; the quality of its ingredients is noticeable. Without a doubt, it’s a lovely perfume.

A totally enchanting and clean cologne. Notable and opulent. This is the most solid proof of a fragrance. It smells tannn good that I had to buy it, because, besides, for me, it’s 60% unisex. Totally confident when wearing this beauty, and when friends have asked me once, the answer has been simple: the vast majority of fragrances have no gender. You wear perfume because you like how you smell. …we also know that there are (within the declared total female fragrances) others that a man, well, I don’t think he could put them on, if he wants to smell with a tone ‘unisex with a small less masculine twist’.

  10. Demelza

NR perfumes really get me. This fragrance is exquisite and unique. It justifies its price; to me, it’s unisex, yet so elegant, sober, classic, timeless, clean and balanced. It isn’t the classic romantic perfume I use so often, but it stands out for being different, far more formal. I even feel it imposes the personality of the wearer. A truly gentleman’s perfume that, in my opinion, cannot be missing from any collection.

I tried it with a sample and the first impression was that it had an enormous sillage; it overwhelmed and suffocated me. It settled down after a few minutes and I could detect a very floral scent, a citrus touch that over time becomes almost soapy, and a woody base with a green nuance. However, despite all the notes smelling fresh, the perfume feels a bit nocturnal and heavy. Once it settles on my skin, the vetiver becomes much more pronounced; I can almost smell it right in front of my eyes. In summary, it seems to me a feminine, sophisticated fragrance and, in my opinion, somewhat mature. The first impression is that it’s a slightly generic and typical scent, but once dry, it becomes a bit more interesting. Update: I’ve worn the perfume for over 24 hours and it still smells on my skin; the longevity is almost infinite.

  12. At first, I detect faint, white, silent notes; honestly, it smells good on me. It stays clean, with a scent of proper soap, and finishes with a moderately nice trail. On my skin, longevity is a point in its favour. Right up to here, everything is okay. Would I buy it again? No. Why? Because it smells like a good girl, a rich girl, a girl who goes horse-riding on spring Sundays through her father’s fields, impeccably dressed for the occasion with her very long hair blowing in the wind. It’s not that I dislike this ‘flow’; it’s simply that I have very little of that girl in me, and even less of a good one. It’s not for me, but nor is it something to throw away at dawn. It deserves a try. Give it a sniff first… 🙂

This fragrance was almost a blind buy – I say almost because I could only smell it briefly on a strip among many others (around 15) where everything got mixed up with no concrete idea, but something in those few seconds of feeling it made me know I would like it, and a lot. I received it today, and while it was a surprise, it wasn’t entirely unexpected; it exceeds my expectations as it is exactly what I wanted. The first few seconds upon spraying, something strong startled me a little, but after a few minutes of settling on the skin, the magic appeared (not to mention the final dry-down). I cannot yet comment on longevity as I’ve worn it for barely three hours and can still detect it at all times; it is simply beautiful. It’s as if it highlights the scent of clean skin in its best version. A flawless, exquisite fragrance that makes me sigh and want to smell like this forever. Completely smitten.

Elegance, femininity and versatility in their purest form. A musk that is cleaner than animalic, yet certainly warm and not so soapy on my skin, intermingled with the osmanthus which adds that light, fruity, velvety touch, especially at the start. Initially, it feels quite powdery, but as it dries down it becomes much more amber and slightly sweet. Personally, I prefer it to the EDP, which I find fruitier at the opening but, above all, sharper in the musk and floral notes. In the dry-down, they are very, very similar. Its performance is excellent for an EDT; it lasts all day at work. In short: a clean, neat, all-rounder scent ideal for accompanying you daily. I don’t have it in my collection yet, but I am not ruling it out.

It has a nice scent overall, but there’s a little note that bothers me. It lasts a long time on the skin and clothes, yet I didn’t care for that distinctive smell, haha! I have mixed feelings about this one; I bought it once but haven’t felt the urge to repurchase.

  16. The powdery top note fades after about 20 minutes, giving way to a scent of musk, amber and osmanthus. I have mixed feelings because it smells exactly like my grandmother’s house. It’s lovely, but I don’t wear it as it reminds me of her. That said, it lasts a long time.

To me, it’s not truly powdery. I detect a slightly green, fresh rose, followed by a velvety effect. It’s suitable for everyday wear. In my case, it’s not a powerhouse that stands out as I’ve experienced with others, and the longevity was around four hours. It didn’t overpower me, but I won’t be returning to this bottle.

The first time a fragrance with osmanthus made such a good impression on me. Soapy, clean, definitely not fresh but neither is it dense; a balanced and perfect aroma for everyday use. It doesn’t seem too casual, nor overly elegant; it’s ideal for those who want to smell clean in their daily routine, at the office.

Beautiful and suitable for continuous wear. It lingers on your clothes and skin for a long time. It reminds me of Idille and Splendida Magnolia Sensual, though I must say I smell it differently depending on the season; it always surprises me. It’s very versatile in its behaviour. Worth buying.

  20. Paulabazan

The benefit of spending a bit more than usual is the feeling of ‘enough is enough, I’ll stop collecting’. Previously, I tested Natura, 4711, or cheap brands on sale… until I decided on this Narciso and the Pure Musc. I spent money, but now I smell refined, delicate, and without being overpowering. I am over the moon with both.

It is pure musk. If you don’t like this note, look no further. It is the classic Narciso musk: clean, powdery, with a touch of sweetness. Sober, elegant, and timeless.

Pleasant upon application, powerful yet not suffocating. It makes you feel empowered, lasts for ages, and even longer on clothes; it doesn’t seem like an EDT given its longevity. I will definitely buy it again!

  24. nataliedrm

It is an elegant perfume, one you expect from a woman with poise. However, in my case, the musk finds me tiring and strong. I don’t enjoy smelling it beyond half an hour. It is too overwhelming, reminiscent of old perfumes, and ultimately, it wasn’t what I expected.

I tried it but cannot handle it; I don’t find it pleasant. I feel it is an old perfume, one I have sensed many times before. The musk saturates me; I find it spicy, not mysterious, and tiring. I also notice too much vetiver in the base; although I like it in others, here it just smells of old lady.

I bought it in 30 ml because, as a devotee, I had to own this legendary scent. But it is not for me: it feels overwhelming and ‘doesn’t suit me’, although if I smell it on someone nearby, I do like it. I use a drop before bed because it lasts well, though I have to use it sparingly. When I finish, I will keep the bottle but won’t repurchase it for myself. I would far prefer ‘Pure Musc’ or ‘Musc Noir’, which I love.

It smells incredible. I like it more than the Rosa. Does anyone else smell peach in the osmanthus? I don’t understand those who say it smells like sweat. I wish my sweat smelled like this after 5 hours in an airless classroom full of children 😆. Everyone knows what it smells like. A brilliant innovation that will last for decades. 10/10.

I took a risk and bought it blindly, wary of the negative comments. It was a surprise: its ultra-feminine aroma envelops me and makes me feel beautiful. I am already on my second bottle. I love it for evening events like concerts; people always compliment me and gentlemen ask what I am wearing. I find it refined, elegant, youthful, mysterious, and feminine. It is now part of my collection. Simply a beauty.

  29. Refined, elegant, musky, with a touch of talc. I perceive the osmanthus above all. I had been wanting to try it for some time and it has been a very pleasant surprise. It has a trail and moderate longevity. I have liked it immensely.
