Descripción
Noa by Cacharel is a musky floral woody fragrance from the olfactive family, launched in 1998 for women. The nose behind this composition is Olivier Cresp. The top notes unfold with white musk, peony, freesia, green notes, peach, and plum; the heart reveals lily of the valley, lily, green grass, jasmine, ylang-ylang, and rose; while the base notes settle on coffee, vanilla, sandalwood, coriander, incense, tonka bean, and cedar.

Cacharel Noa is a transparent fragrance that conveys a great deal of peace and luminosity to me. A sweet musk with gourmand coffee nuances, with a fresh opening of freesia and peonies. It’s a true gem from Cacharel, very intimate and discreet, nothing intrusive. It’s a fragrance that walks beside you, not ahead of you and leaving little trail. For women who don’t like to stand out, yet it’s a scent that doesn’t let you forget. One of my favourites from Cacharel. The only thing I ask is that it doesn’t leave much trail on the skin, but it does have good staying power on fabric. But all in all, it’s brilliant; I hope Noa never dies.
Romantic, feminine, sweet and powdery. That’s how I define this scent. I analyse the notes but can’t quite identify them well; perhaps it’s a good combination. I detect white flowers, a marked sweetness (not caramel, but floral, perhaps vanilla or tonka bean). I notice a lot of powder scent. It’s a lovely, warm, candid, cosy and embracing aroma. I find it similar to other powder scents, such as Emporio Armani for her. It’s quite linear; it comes out like this and stays like this, with no significant changes as it dries. It has little longevity, but I don’t mind since it’s an EDT; I reapply and it’s there. It lasts about 4 to 5 hours on the skin before fading to skin scent. On clothes it lasts a bit longer. I highly recommend it; I wear it on cold days. It’s a beautiful perfume and in my country it’s very reasonably priced.
Unique, feminine, timeless and relaxing.
I didn’t like it. I bought it when I was young and had to give the bottle away. I don’t know what it is, but it had so much femininity it hit me like a slap and forced everyone around me to smell it. It overwhelmed me, even though I liked strong scents (Coco Mademoiselle, Flowes de Kenzo, Eau d’Issey). Now I’m looking for fresher, more pleasant ones. I got obsessed with it, but it’s impossible for me.
What more can I say about Noa that hasn’t already been said? It’s simply wonderful. I wore it 22 years ago on the most beautiful day of my life, my wedding. It dressed me exquisitely all day and all night. I’ve just ordered another bottle.
It’s my favourite. I’ve tried dozens of perfumes and in the end, I keep coming back to Noa. It smells rich and soft, not overwhelming; on the contrary, you want to smell more. It smells clean and fresh, like a gentle soap, with a little peach and incense. It’s slightly woody but not harsh, romantic and elegant. You don’t notice the jasmine or vanilla, which I appreciate. It’s different from any other; the supposed similar ones don’t resemble it. It’s timeless, wonderful. I hope they never take it off the shelves.
When I was fifteen, when it first hit the market, I was given two samples at a shopping centre and kept one. It was my companion at school dances and brings back fond memories. Interestingly, when it touches the skin, there’s a slight old or stale perfume note that isn’t unpleasant. It’s part of Noa and I like it because then the metamorphosis happens and it becomes a beautiful scent. I detect coffee in the base, but I notice it at the start and it lingers almost until the end; it’s a woody, warm coffee that welcomes the notes well. The white musk is strong but doesn’t last long. There’s a very subtle sweetness of fruit. In the base, the flowers combine with the citrus to give a bitter touch. I also notice an iris fused with green grass that gives a sense of cleanliness. The base is very woody with a sweet nuance. The trail is good but lasts about four hours on the skin, which is my only drawback. It suits any age, season, or occasion because it’s not intrusive and has personality.
I recommend it 100% for when you change your sheets, shower after a hot day, put on new pyjamas, and apply Noa. It’s the best night, full stop.
I arrived with high hopes because I fell in love with the bottle, which looks like a mermaid’s. However, when I tried it in the shop, it seemed like a very flat floral, akin to a bath bomb. Over time, on the blotter, I notice a lot of incense; it smells like a supermarket deodorant that tickles my nose or men’s shaving cream.
To me, Noa by Cacharel is the queen of white florals and musk, even if others cost up to 200 euros more. It’s a beautiful, well-balanced blend of musk with fruity and powdery touches. It’s a beast for the price and longevity, and it’s the inspiration behind many expensive niche fragrances. A solid 10 for Noa.
I don’t know if it’s because I’m used to sweet and powerful perfumes, but this was a great disappointment in terms of performance. It has a hetero, tender, and clean aroma like a neutral soap. The big detail is the sillage and longevity: I barely perceive it, very close to the skin, and the longevity is minimal, not even half an hour. I have to reapply it, something I detest. The good thing is that I bought the 30ml presentation and I’ll finish it, but I don’t think I’ll buy it again. If you like subtle perfumes, you’ll love it; if you’re like me, who prefer invasive aromas, it will be a disappointment.
I was attracted by its ‘clean’ scent and was surprised by the quantity of notes when I researched them. I bought it blind and… wow, what a beautiful aroma. Very subtle and light, powdery but without being off-putting. An ethereal fragrance ideal for hot or rainy days. I liked it very much, a Cacharel success.
Subtle among the subtle… I remember the ‘futuristic’ advert for Noa and Noa Perle. It was presented as something revolutionary, different, with an extravagant touch for coming from the future. It was a time before the millennium change, with powerful and complex fragrances. The new millennium seemed to be glimpsed as simplicity and clean lines, and since Noa came from the future, it couldn’t be any other way. For me, it was a fragrance I wanted to treasure to enjoy from time to time, something to test at home. I don’t know why I never got one; I liked it but it seemed excessively plain to me, sometimes I swore it only smelled of alcohol. I tried it again and yes, it is excessively subtle. I define it as a musk-laden lily with a very subtle touch of plum. There are infinite better fragrances, but it has no substitute if it’s discontinued. It’s not expensive, so for its price, you can’t ask for more. It would have been wonderful with more character. To those who say it has a huge sillage, perhaps they bathed in it or have a hypersensitivity to scents.
Linearity, simplicity, minimalism, cleanliness, beauty, and lots of powdery softness. White musk predominates in a sensual way, reminding me a lot of Jovan White Musk. They are very similar. What a beautiful perfume that still smells as if it were just created.
To me, it’s the perfume version of baby cologne.
A very soft scent that doesn’t stand out too much to my taste. I think it works well for days when you want to smell fresh.
With this fragrance I understood what it means to smell clean and I loved it. Although it’s been on the market for years and I never tried it, I like it very much now. It smells fresh, clean, floral, and slightly powdery, super feminine. It’s one of the fragrances that has received the most compliments.
It’s been on the market for years and I never approached it due to prejudice, being an EDT and by Cacharel. Recently I got one and… what a beauty. One of the most beautiful musks I’ve heard, creamy without being cloying. Impeccable. A must-have for lovers of this type. Worth highlighting its longevity, which is very good. I must remind myself to be less wary. Enjoy.
Found it back in the 90s and have now rediscovered it. Smells like luxury soap, perfect for spring or whenever you want to feel impeccable.
One day my mother brought this perfume home; she worked in a hotel and a customer had left a bottle of Cacharel Noa behind. What an ethereal scent—that is the definition. It’s a clean aroma thanks to the musk, but more than that: the coffee note gives it a woody, sweet touch without being cloying. It’s strange, I remember it well, and although it’s pricey and rarely on offer, it’s worth it. Despite the years and being an EDT, it’s a beautiful classic.
If you like white musk and peonies, this is for you. This musk isn’t animalic; it’s clean, soft and delicate, mixed with peonies. It’s an innocent and harmless perfume made for women. It’s perfect for the office or dinner because it doesn’t overpower. It’s quite friendly. If you’re looking for something soft, delicate, feminine and transparent, this could be your option. Unfortunately, the longevity isn’t the best, so I recommend wearing it on clothes rather than skin. It’s definitely a ‘makeup-no makeup’ perfume, because if you wear it, it can almost go unnoticed.
This was my first olfactory love; I was ten when I discovered it. I used a friend’s mother’s perfume, and whenever I went to her house, I’d always go to the bathroom and bathe in it (all this time I thought she wouldn’t notice… what an innocent child). It smells clean, musky, talc-like and sweet at the same time. It’s a very comforting scent that makes you feel comfortable. I love it, and I’ll probably buy it. The idea of revisiting it after so many years without smelling it excites me.
The essence is reflected in the pure, simple, transparent and white bottle, with that pearl that gives it a chic touch. That’s Noa without complications or gourmand scents; I love it because I feel clean and relaxed with it. I don’t sense the coffee note at all, how good!
I bought it blind and didn’t like it… it’s not a scent I dislike (but I wouldn’t wear it out). I thought it would be more in the style of Light Blue or Pure Musk. I’m in the hype for clean and fresh scents, and if it smells clean, like after a shower with deodorant, it’s just that, a floral deodorant type ‘obo’.
First flowers, then amber. I used it years ago. It’s wonderful, fresh, intense and has good projection. It’s not heavy, quite light, but it lingers on my skin.
Smells like cotton, rich and fresh, floral and unobtrusive; it projects well even though it’s an eau de toilette and lasts on the skin. I wear it at night after a shower, but it’s also perfect for going shopping or for a walk in the countryside. It’s a simple and very good perfume. Cacharel never fails for me.
At first, it smells very clearly of baby cologne. Once it dries down, it seems to disappear, staying right next to the skin. It’s not complex, but its simplicity is charming; the more I smell it, the more I feel it’s soapy, clean and pleasant. It’s an instant classic if you’re looking for a clean scent.
Smells like baby cologne, like Simonds Blue. It’s rich, smells clean but like a baby.
Noa is my most recent purchase, bought blind based on the notes and reviews, and I absolutely love it. It’s floral, very clean and welcoming, like a fine soap bar. It doesn’t bother anyone and maintains that freshly showered feeling. The incense gives it distinction without any bitterness. It lasts well on me and is ideal for any season. The bottle is gorgeous with its pearl inside. Without a doubt, I’ll be buying it again.
Smells incredibly clean, soft and delicate, like a baby perfume that adds a lot of warmth. The only downside is it doesn’t leave much of a trail. I bought it blind and it’s now one of my favourites.
I used this fragrance at the end of the 90s when it launched and it wasn’t anything special to me. We’ve met again, and oh, I find it delicious, tender, soft, very pretty, and I think I’ll buy a bottle at some point. To note: if you like soft florals.
Oh, what a beautiful perfume! I bought it recently and I’m completely in love with its scent. Every time a breeze brushes against my skin, I feel as though I leave a trail of fluttering white flower petals in my wake. Since opening the box to try it, I fell in love. It was a blind buy; I felt it could suit me because of the white musk note, and I wasn’t wrong. It’s a tender scent with a fresh, smiling sweetness, with a very cheerful spark; not the joy of a teenage girl, but a very feminine one, like hugging your mother, the greeting with your friends’ smiles, or the glow of feeling your best. I think any woman can wear it, from a teenager to an adult in their 40s or 50s. In its opening, I detect a lot of white musk and peach, even finding a certain resemblance to Burberry Women, which shares notes of peach, musk, sandalwood, vanilla, and incense, albeit at different times. Burberry is more autumnal and woody, while Noa is sweet yet fresh, more summery and spring-like. Its white musk and peach note is exquisite, sweet, and alluring. The dry-down evolves beautifully; its green notes hardly stand out (which isn’t a problem for me). In the final stage, the incense, tonka bean, and sandalwood are greatly emphasised, a combination that fascinates me. I’m not entirely sure I can detect the coffee note; perhaps I need to train my nose more. Its longevity on skin is very good, around 6-7 hours, and on clothes it lasts several days. I’ve worn it this month in hot weather and rainy days; in both climates it has good longevity, but in cool, rainy weather it has more presence. I recommend it highly. It’s part of my indulgent and must-have perfumes in my collection.
I’ve used about three or four bottles and just bought it again. It’s an all-rounder scent, smelling clean as such, like body cream or soap. It’s the equivalent of a white chiffon dress bottled as perfume. I love wearing it in any season, whenever I want to smell freshly showered rather than like a pastry (almost my entire collection is gourmands). A classic yet timeless fragrance.
When I first tried it, I thought: this is a princess perfume. Extremely feminine. Upon spraying, you get a sharp hit of something artificial and plastic, like fluorescent hospital lights with a blinding white glow. I like this bold, fresh opening, even if it’s a facet not often explored. It’s a cold scent, lacking warmth, and it doesn’t need it. I detect a strong valley lily with a purplish tinge of white flowers over a soft cloud of musk. The duality of the cold plastic opening with a base of plush, cushion-like musk creates an interesting combination. Rainy days bring out the best of this aspect. I don’t think it smells like cream or soap; it lacks a greasy, astringent character, more resembling a freshly hung washing line.
Smells like a soft, clean body cream. It’s very gentle, though the longevity is short, but it’s a beautiful scent.
I was curious to try it, as on the website, according to the fragrances I like (among them Amor Amor), it appeared in the recommendations and wow! The recommendation was spot on. It is subtle and soft as I like it, nothing cloying and when it dries it stays richly impregnated. I still don’t know if the trail is large, but as for longevity I perceived it all day. I acquired it in a Fräiche sample and I loved it; I will definitely buy the original.
I can’t not love it. It reminds me of my mother immediately, who always uses it on special occasions. So I will always associate it with her, with something soft, safe and maternal. It is fresh, clean, delicate and feminine to the max. I would even say it is timidly sensual. It is the fragrance of an elegant, sweet and even somewhat mystical woman. It seems to me to be a perfume that cannot fail you; it is very versatile and compliments are assured. It stands out much more on cold days, such as a rainy day or a cool summer night, but it won’t feel out of place in spring or autumn. It has a very lovely powdery scent and feels just as cosy as lying in clean sheets after a good bath. Simply, it seems to me to be a beautiful perfume and I can’t wait to buy another bottle.
I bought it blind because I love fresh, soft perfumes with a clean scent. The reviews seemed wonderful to me and I wanted to smell it for some time. Unfortunately, it wasn’t to my liking. It is true that it smells very softly like talcum powder, but there is something in the aroma that I dislike and even irritates me to the point of feeling nauseous. I still can’t decipher which note it is, perhaps the incense or the coffee, but I feel it so predominant that I can’t stand it. Its bottle is gorgeous and gives that feeling of something light and clean. I am still looking for a clean-scented perfume that drives me mad.
Seeing online novelties, I came across Noa at a price we wouldn’t have imagined thirty years ago, so I didn’t hesitate to order it. Does it smell like soap? Yes, but like a floral bar soap, very balanced, with notes of lily, lily of the valley, jasmine, musk, sweet yet not cloying, romantic. It reminded me of Reve de Van Cleef and Paris by YSL, that ballet dancer vibe, of a fairy, of a lady of quality. It is truly lovely, classic and clean. I was a child when it was launched and I remember its advertising perfectly; it was tattooed on my mind: the perfume with the pearl inside, I wanted it without knowing how it smelled, it was beautiful, a little hypnotising. I also remember Beyond Paradise at the same time; I don’t know what a disappointment it was when Estée brought it back but not in the original bottle. Anyway, Noa today, after so many years, represents a beautiful memory. I don’t know what more you could ask for: it is a toilet water at a price beyond friendly. Its trail is moderate, not scandalous, but you can carry it further if you apply generously. The longevity is very good on skin, 5-6 hours very present, and on clothes it lasted all day. I have nothing more to ask of it, it owes me nothing.
It smells like that hotel soap that smells of Cacharel, and honestly, it doesn’t do justice to such a gorgeous bottle. I absolutely dislike it, even though I love clean fragrances.
