Descripción

Yes I Am by Cacharel is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2018, this composition was created by Honorine Blanc and Christophe Raynaud. The top notes unfold a vibrant freshness with raspberry, mandarin, bergamot and lemon; the heart reveals an exuberant florality of gardenia, ginger flower, jasmine, orange blossom and rose, interwoven with amber nuances; while the base notes offer an enveloping warmth and creaminess thanks to milk, caramel, vanilla, cardamom, licorice, coumarin, benzoin, sandalwood and Amberwood.

Delicious! Similar to Bombshell Intense and Egeo dolce colors. It lasts 12 hours or more on me, moderate sillage, and very feminine.

  • I absolutely love it! I gifted it to my mother blindfolded when I went away and she adored it. Finally, I had to buy it for myself. I’m a fan of citrus perfumes but felt I needed a sweet one for more winter or evening wear, and this is ideal. It’s a sweet perfume but not intense. I also feel that, unlike other sweet scents, this suits me very well on the skin, with the raspberry really standing out. However, I’d like it to have more longevity; it doesn’t last long enough on my skin.

I smelled it in a bar and fell in love instantly, managed to find the girl wearing it and bought it the next day. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last at all on my skin (not even an hour) and isn’t very noticeable. In fact, I use the Millanell dupe which smells the same but is much cheaper. The aroma is exquisite, sweet yet fresh, not cloying; it’s addictive for me and works well day and night, it could be my favourite perfume but I’m sorry it doesn’t last on my skin at all 🙁

  • A rich, sweet fragrance without being cloying. I detect raspberry and caramel strongly. It lasted eight hours on my skin; when it develops, it reminds me of the fragrance Attraction, the classic female version from Avon.

  • I usually wear citrus fragrances, so buying this was stepping out of my comfort zone. I love it because it isn’t a cloying sweet, which is what I dislike about sweet scents. It’s delicate and leaves a soft trail that people around you can smell. Caramel is the most prominent note on my skin. When it runs out, I’ll buy it again. I adore the packaging.

  • This perfume is spiced raspberry; I don’t detect the caramel or the lactonic notes. It’s just raspberry and spices.

The notes I perceive most from this Yes I Am by Cacharel are milk, raspberry, and vanilla. I must say the result seems notably artificial to me, and I agree it reminds me of a shampoo or children’s soap. I also agree it isn’t cloying, but it lacks personality. Uhm, I’d say it’s ‘okay’ but it doesn’t excite me in the slightest. As for the price? Well, I think it should cost a little less. That said, the bottle is a real gem.

  • It’s very rich, youthful, with a scent of red fruits and caramel, but very basic. I would buy it again only if I see it on offer; I usually get bored with very sweet and mass-market perfumes, but it’s a great option for a gift.

  • Manu_speranza

I absolutely love it. It’s raspberry, caramel, and something creamy. It’s nothing groundbreaking and has a faint artificial touch, but it’s a sweet scent that isn’t cloying, perfect for year-round use. Ideal for informal occasions. Feminine, sweet, and wearable. Personal sillage and medium longevity.

  • Just received it, and although I expected more based on the reviews and videos I watched, it hasn’t quite disappointed me. It’s pretty… reminded me of AG’s Ari but less gourmand. I don’t detect the spice or milk, just fruity raspberry (with barely any citrus at the start), then something powdery white floral (which doesn’t suit me entirely) and finally caramel. Again, it’s not bad, just the notes that would make it better don’t really stand out… I think I’ll give it more time and come back with a second impression. For now, it has body, ideal for temperate days or evening wear.

It’s delicious. My boyfriend has Scandal pour Homme by Jean Paul Gaultier and I was looking for something similar for women; I tried this and found a huge similarity. It’s a warm perfume that leaves a caramel scent that makes you want to get close and smell it. I consider it 100% evening wear, sweet but mature and attractive.

  • ari_sweetperfumes

I’ve seen its advertisement thousands of times, and for me it has been another Cacharel discovery: I didn’t expect such a delicious caramel scent. I find that sweetness with notes of raspberry and vanilla, some musk as it dries down, and citrus in the opening that then disappear. Perhaps it seems simple because I don’t smell the other notes much, but the combination has delighted me. I don’t know how to describe it, but if you like youthful, sweet (caramel-like), milky and slightly musky aromas, this eau de parfum is perfect. It’s wearable, not overwhelming, and I recommend it more for the evening, afternoon or mild weather.

  • selentica

I loved it the moment I smelled it, as I’m a fan of mentholated raspberry lozenges and it has exactly that aroma and freshness. It’s sweet but cool. It has no layer development; it’s linear and direct. Nevertheless, I like it.

  • nicky doll

I had it in the original and in the Spanish equivalent from Saphir Parfums, the cologne Kisses. It smells very well, but in both versions the longevity is low on my skin. Sweet without being cloying. Perfect for everyday wear. I wouldn’t buy the original for the price and longevity, but I would buy the equivalent again. 8/10.

  • Cherryblush

I was surprised when I tried it and liked it immediately. It’s sweet but not cloying; I see it as very versatile for spring, summer and even daytime autumn. It lasted about six hours on my skin and, after reapplying, it stayed on my clothes until I washed them. It smells of sweet raspberries with something mentholated, which I imagine is the ginger. Quite youthful. A safe buy.

  • It’s not what it appears to be at first. Yes, it’s sweet, but not cloying or overwhelming. I don’t see it as an evening scent either; it’s a sweet daytime fragrance, playful and leaning towards fresh, like Nina Ricci’s apples. The opening is potent but fades significantly. What stands out most is the synthetic caramelised raspberry (it reminds me of a lipstick or gloss). I detect ginger slightly, but I don’t sense the milk. I’ve really liked it. It doesn’t change your life, but it’s cheerful to wear. The seller assured me it lasted, but try it on your own pH… on me it sits close to the skin and lasts at most three hours.

  • I’m reviewing it again to say I’m not joking about how much I enjoy this. I’ve even put it in my bag (alongside a decant of L’Interdit Rouge) as an emergency fragrance for going out…

  • oliendobonito

Caramel, ginger and licorice. It’s sweet, warm and spicy. If you don’t like sweet perfumes, this isn’t for you. It smells mature, dark, sexy and seductive. It’s a pity the longevity isn’t the best. It’s versatile, but I wouldn’t wear it in summer.

  • paoladonosoc

From the very first moment, caramel, vanilla, milk and amber explode on my skin with a fruity undertone. There are no citrus notes, not even at the start; it’s more of a generic sweet fruit scent, without any raspberry. It’s not bad and pleasant, but initially it smells like dozens of perfumes, and in my case, overwhelmingly, not nostalgically. The caramel can be annoying and sounds synthetic. As it dries down, spices appear but very faintly; you have to pay attention. It doesn’t last or project much.

Before Ariana Grande’s lactonic perfumes, there was this one; it’s an underrated gem. The good thing is it’s always on offer, especially the 30ml size. Let me tell you there’s a brand in Chile called Yves de Alain Privee that sells an inspiration and the truth is it’s identical in every way, in fact more so, it has better longevity. This is a fragrance for people who like to smell sweet, like a creamy doll, but without being overwhelming. If you want to smell jovial, with character, fresh but sweet, hehe, this is a very good alternative ✨️.

After several years, we meet again… the first time I smelled it, it was just coming out of the pandemic and my sense of smell was altered; I fell in love with the notes, the packaging, I bought it blindly and when I smelled it… it was a strange mix of raspberry, menthol and cigarettes. It smelled like cherry Halls with cigarettes and I was very disappointed. I ended up giving it away. Now I found it at a good price and gave it another chance, and finally I can smell the caramel, the florals and the vanilla. It still has something mentholated about it, I’m not sure if it’s the cardamom, but it’s very subtle; it’s perceived mostly as sweet and fruity. I’m liking it very much and I’m glad I acquired it. Sometimes it’s worth giving another chance to fragrances that didn’t match us in the past.

  • I love the scent of this perfume; it reminds me a lot of a cherry Halls menthol lozenge (the red one), it’s exquisite and has the perfect balance between sweet and refreshing, I think it’s ideal for afternoon and evening. It makes me feel sweet, clean, secure and a bit sexy. However, regarding its longevity and sillage, I don’t like it at all; it lasts very little and nothing smells until someone gets quite close. Would I buy it again? For my own enjoyment. Scent: 10/10, Sillage: 4/10, Versatility: 8/10.

I’ll start by saying the bottle looks adorable and I think it would make almost any teenager happy. For me, this fragrance opens like an acidic fruit juice, very fresh and sparkling, and stays that way for a while. Almost half of the four hours it lasts on my skin. As it dries down, I perceive a faint honey aroma, well below the freshness of the 20,000 fruits declared in the notes. To me, it dries down to a citrus scent that softens gradually, which I suppose is due to the milk and vanilla. Sweet and fresh all the time, I think it’s appropriate for daily use, better for young women.

  • I love the scent of this perfume; it smells sweet but not cloying. The note I perceive most is undoubtedly raspberry, but it has an elegant sweetness. I’m wearing it now and what I don’t like is that it lasts very little on skin and clothes. Despite that, it’s a good perfume, good price and I would repurchase it.

  • Removed from my collection 💄. It was a fragrance I used to repurchase and love, but it’s just become boring now and I’m moving on to keep only what truly fascinates me. It’s leaving because it lasts a mere breath, I’m indifferent to the scent, the raspberry note doesn’t excite me anymore and I no longer like lactonic perfumes. Just so you know, I valued this Cacharel perfume when it launched for its innovation.

  • Very rich and playful. I’d say it’s more of an EDT than an EDP due to its short longevity; if it lasts on clothes, not skin, for a maximum of four hours. The interesting thing is that hours later, after showering with the steam or sweating a little, it reactivates and releases a very caramelised aroma, like popcorn and milk… really rich, though a bit tiring, but quite intimate and without leaving much of a trail. If the intention is to seduce up close, it achieves it, but the scent won’t linger on other people’s clothes.

  • Jesica La Roja

Just tried it and, to be honest, I see nothing innovative. It’s not ugly, it’s pretty, but it smells like a very generic caramelised scent. I can’t detect any florals, spices or resins… What a pity, because the declared note combination seems interesting. It’s a shame that a house like Cacharel, which used to create grand, unmistakable classics like LouLou, Eden or Anaïs Anaïs, now limits itself to mediocre fragrances.

  • This is a fragrance where I can really smell the gardenia, jasmine and caramel. For some reason, its development feels generic and artificial to me. If you ask me, it reminds me of Antonio Banderas’s Her Secret. If you like that, this is very much in the same style, just more expensive. I tested it in summer, although it’s recommended for winter and evening. Longevity and projection, like all Cacharel scents, are excellent.

  • It’s not what it used to be. It changed from being sweet, gourmand with fresh raspberry to a very heavy synthetic sweet. It almost smells like Christmas cookies and no longer lasts on the skin. A pity they modified it so much. For the price, it’s hardly worth it anymore.

  • The scent is very pleasant; you can smell the raspberry and tangerine (a bit synthetic) over a base of vanilla and caramel, very creamy and warm, and I even sense a hint of cocoa. From time to time, there are floral bursts. It’s sweet without being cloying, it doesn’t make me dizzy or bore me. But the trail and longevity are almost non-existent; it’s a shame. Anyway, I would still have it in my collection.

  • AntaresAres

I’m not sure if it was reformulated, but what reaches my nose is a run-of-the-mill perfume among those sugary, sweet fragrances flooding the market. Nothing particular. It starts with loud, super-acidic gummies pretending to be raspberries and undefined citrus, to end in a cataclysm: a giant creamy caramel that sticks to your teeth and gives you a hangover the next day. The flowers are indistinguishable; they could claim to have exclusive gardenia or delicate jasmine, but my nose doesn’t get past the wall of syrup. Even the ginger, which I love, is undetectable, perhaps because Yes I Am causes olfactory fatigue; it’s pure confectionery. In my opinion, it’s the perfect juice for lolis and otakus, childish yet sexy, but not in a nice way. It has its audience; tastes are not written in stone. For him, if he lives in Spain, I’d recommend Tertia Sensu instead: much cheaper, longer-lasting, and with a trail like a tsunami. It’s well-executed and improved over the original, so whoever wants to understand already knows what Yes I Am is.

  • tamagotchi

It lasts so little that I couldn’t even perceive its notes; it’s like a body spray.

  • I’ve had it since 2020 or before, and it’s not super acidic or loud. The flowers soften it so it smells like perfume rather than food, reminiscent of a raspberry and floral shake. Sometimes I feel it’s more acidic, but it could be psychological or hormonal. The longevity isn’t huge; it’s average. The body lotion does smell as AntaresAres says. If they reformulated it, I won’t use up the ml I have left and will try the purple flanker instead.

  • Amorperfumado

It’s fruity, slightly milky, with lots of cardamom. It reminds me of Amor Amor, Black Opium, and La Belle, but Yes I Am is spicier, with raspberry, caramel, and cardamom. That bitter spice balances the sweetness without being overwhelming. It’s youthful and pleasant, but for the price, it doesn’t last: an hour on skin, 3–4 on clothes. Ideal for spring, autumn, summer evenings, and a gift for teenagers thanks to the beautiful bottle and easy-going scent.

  • SweetCammie

I tried it and found it generic, that synthetic vanilla that ruins everything. I love sweet scents, but between citrus, florals, spices, and vanilla, it gives me a headache.

  • I use it for home and errands. It doesn’t last long, but I don’t need it to; it reminds me of something from my adolescence; I don’t know what there is about Cacharel perfumes that makes me feel so tender.

  • I gifted it for a birthday: it smells sweet and feminine, lasts about 6–7 hours, and the bottle is quirky. If you catch it on offer, it’s good value. Everything is fine except the spray: it’s awkward, stiff, and if you don’t press hard, it literally spits liquid out in a jet like a cobra.

  • The Yes I Am by Cacharel is a floral blend with cardamom and licorice/sandalwood; it’s not heavy at all and very elegant.
