I don’t understand the madness surrounding this perfume; I simply didn’t like it. It smells odd, and I can’t tell if it’s the lavender, iris, and licorice blend that I found totally unnecessary. Honestly, I just didn’t like it. I’ll keep it for winter to see if it changes or if I perceive the notes better, but for now, it’s a definite no. The good thing is I only bought a decant to try it.

One of my favourite perfumes. What does it smell like? A very feminine woman. It is floral, warm, and sweet, yet not cloying. It’s one of those that leaves a mark wherever you go. Excellent longevity and projection. The price is in line with the quality. Suitable for all year round? Yes. For a date? Absolutely! For every day? Don’t even think about it. Please, more respect.

Top-tier perfume; the vanilla and lavender are very noticeable, and the vanilla feels gourmand to me. I shower and still smell like this great fragrance. It is very versatile: in the heat, the vanilla is prominent, but at night or in winter, the woody notes and lavender stand out more. It is an easy-to-love perfume; I’ve received several compliments in a short time. I highly recommend it for any collection.

After all the hype on social media from a contest winner, I decided to try it. Definitely not one to buy blind. It smelled to me like my 85-year-old grandmother’s bathroom with a lavender air freshener; it is nauseating. Perhaps it didn’t work on my skin, as I see many people who love it; maybe the problem is me. 🤔 Please try it before buying!

An elegant yet very feminine fragrance. It lifts the mood and feels like a hug, especially when it’s cold. I feel like I’m dressing up too; it gives a chic touch and lasts for hours. It is not the perfume to wear on a day when your head is hurting a bit.

I love it! It’s elegant, fresh, feminine, and has a touch of mystery. That blend of vanilla and lavender is delicious 🪻. Although it’s very elegant and I wouldn’t wear it for super casual occasions, I see it as quite versatile. It could be a signature perfume for someone who likes to dress up and look sophisticated. Suitable for any season: cold, heat, sun, or clouds, it adapts to everything. The trail is moderate; it doesn’t dominate but you can definitely feel it. Same with longevity; it’s not a beast but lasts its 6 or 7 hours. I want it always in my collection.

It seemed promising 🥲 but I don’t perceive any note that stands out; they are very soft and almost imperceptible. Besides, perhaps with my pH it doesn’t last much, but as soon as I put it on, after a few hours I can’t smell it anymore.

What a lovely day for everyone participating! MON GUERLAIN is one of my most sophisticated, feminine, and sexy perfumes. Its scent of lavender, iris, jasmine, and rose plays a key role in giving that feminine touch to this jewel. I chose this perfume as a wedding gift for my eldest daughter and it was a huge success; she still loves it and wears it with the special memory of being the perfume for the most important day. It’s a formal fragrance that can be worn 365 days a year without fear of temperature messing it up. Longevity on my skin has been good, over 6 hours, and the price seemed affordable. Oh, surprise! It’s never happened to me with another perfume, but the nausea it caused me with that potent note of lavender and vanilla is indescribable. Somehow, I got a smell of burnt coconut oil, even though it’s not declared. It’s unbearable and it’s a pity because I bought the large bottle, but I can’t even see it as useful as a room freshener. 😔 Every pH reacts differently and, although perfumes from this house are incredibly good, like my beloved Aqua de Allegoria Florabloom, this time it hasn’t been the case with the famous Mon.

At first, the lavender in Libre was overwhelming for me, but Mon changes the game entirely: it’s delicate, less invasive, and the vanilla with the flowers balances it perfectly. I love it for any occasion, although the longevity is medium to short.

Mon Guerlain is comforting and elegant, embodying the house’s DNA. The lavender doesn’t overwhelm me; it hypnotises. It has a noticeable yet measured trail and fixative; it’s present without shouting. It’s wellbeing and looking good. It begins with a fleeting bergamot, followed by an aromatic, spiced lavender that blends with a powdery iris and a feminine rose. The jasmine fades, and in the base, sandalwood, tonka bean, and that classic vanilla emerge. A spectacular whole. It’s timeless, ideal with a dress or a tailored suit. On my skin, it lasts over eight hours: a strong trail for the first couple of hours without being overwhelming, then moderate. If you have a classic soul, this is for you.

At first, it smells very soapy, almost bitter, as if you’d put a bar of soap in your mouth; the lavender is very noticeable. But after settling, it becomes exquisite and sweeter, without being excessive. It’s clean, sweet, and balanced. Not very complex, but very rich. An elegant vanilla and a silky lavender.

My girlfriend has it, and wow, it’s the richest women’s perfume I’ve ever smelled. She wears it in the morning, and at noon I can still smell it on her neck projecting strongly. Potent, floral, vanilla, an exquisite fragrance that becomes gourmand. I love smelling it on my girlfriend; any man would love it. Buy it, and then thank me later.

Mon Guerlain is the perfect example of using a masculine note to create a feminine perfume. The lavender is the protagonist in that bouquet of flowers; unlike Libre, where the note pushes it towards unisex/masculine, here it elevates the fragrance, making it more delicate and feminine. It’s a floral with a fresh bergamot opening, though I’d say it’s quite linear. Very versatile: for the office or a party. It has something refined and minimalist; the vanilla doesn’t make it childish, but sweetens and balances it perfectly, to the point where it’s hard to distinguish the notes. I have a decant of the reformulation: moderate trail and four to five hours longevity. I like it and you could buy it blind if you like florals, but I don’t think I need it in my collection; it’s not my style. I tried Sparkling Bouquet and that one I liked more; it’s fresher and summery, although this wins on performance.

I didn’t think a perfume with lavender would appeal to me, perhaps because I perceive it as masculine, but without a doubt it’s a work of perfumery: they manage to put it in perfect balance with the iris, vanilla, and woods. It’s not a beast in projection, but it’s noticeable at a short distance. In the end, it leaves a slightly powdery impression. Would I buy it again? Without a doubt, yes.
