  1. Where have you been all my life? Wow, I made the right choice! This is the only one I’d buy again without hesitation; it smells luxurious and sophisticated. The notes that stand out most are vanilla, toffee, butter, iris, and subtly lavender and fern. Do you like sweet perfumes? This one certainly won’t leave you indifferent; it’s simply delicious and exquisite. Every time I see it at a reasonably affordable price (since it’s discontinued, it sells for up to €150 or more), I buy it because I can’t find it so easily anymore.

  2. One of my latest perfumery mistakes. Look at those notes; they are irresistible. If, in addition, you are a sweet tooth, you read the previous review, you have a hole in your hands, and it is a Guerlain, nothing could go wrong. So it should have been a home run at the first opportunity. A big mistake. I can’t say if it has the same scent as Mon Guerlain, as I only tried that one when it launched; it seemed a bit plain to me. I forgot about it. I don’t know what that one smells like, nor this Mon Exclusif. Perhaps I have anosmia to this blend, or perhaps this perfume is as exclusive as ‘the emperor’s new clothes’. At first, I feel a slap of lavender. And a not-so-fine lavender. Very much like the colognes sold by the litre that were always in my house when I was little, and I always hated that smell. Alcohol, lavender, and plasticine. Yes, after a while it takes on a certain sweetness, meh. After an hour, I have to press my nose to feel anything. This doesn’t smell like anything. I can’t find vanilla, I can’t find salt, I can’t find toffee, nor butter, nor iris. I find nothing. It has happened to me with another perfume before, with Coco Noir for example. Another one going on the list of ghost perfumes. Only for aromatic mediums, too exclusive for us ordinary women to enjoy. Next.

  3. How to start describing this perfume… it smells like vanilla and almond ice cream but in a natural way; I think my brain distinguished it as something edible, besides I love ice cream… it is sweet but not cloying or overwhelming, I don’t feel it is synthetic at all, it has a certain elegance, the bottle is beautiful and its longevity is about 6 hours.
