Pure honey and realistic tobacco. At first, it smells like a jar of honey with a tobacco leaf at the bottom, almost cloying, but as it dries, the tobacco balances the sweetness without being as bitter as Tom Ford. It has a spiced note of clove and anise that makes it interesting, although for me, Tobacco Vanille remains the king for that smoky effect that adds class.
It is a perfume that smells excessively sweet at first like syrup. Over time it becomes delicious: it smells exactly as its name suggests lots of honey with soft creamy tobacco. The other notes vanilla and tonka bean add to the sweetness but their essences are barely perceptible against the potent honey. When it dries down as its sharp sweetness recedes the woody notes tobacco and spices become more apparent; for me a delight it is a gourmand. I find a slight resemblance to Xerjoff’s Naxos but without lavender or a citrus touch. Needless to say it is unisex like any gourmand.
Honey and tobacco. That’s it. My girlfriend said it smells like a gentleman rich and very elderly. Therefore I do not recommend it for young people or adults under 40. That’s all. I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would given the hype.
Honey and tobacco, period. My girlfriend says it smells like a rich older gentleman, so I wouldn’t recommend it for young people or anyone under 40. It didn’t live up to the hype for me.
It smells of pure honey; it is exquisite. As someone who loves sweet perfumes this left me speechless. The tobacco complements the honey wonderfully making the sweetness deeper and stronger. In my opinion it is unisex elegant and easy to wear (at least for me). It smells like a rich classy person; it is versatile and delicious.
Exquisite and smells of pure honey. It left a sweet lover’s jaw dropped. The tobacco complements the honey, making the sweetness deeper and stronger. It is unisex, elegant and easy to wear. It smells like someone wealthy and classy, very versatile and delicious.
It is one of the few perfumes that seemed different from what I expected based on reviews and videos. Like many I expected a Tobacco Vanille but not in the slightest. Everyone talks about it being hyper-sweet and cloyingly honey-like and while the honey is present and realistic there is much more to it. It’s not just a honey perfume. It is a gentleman’s perfume a pillar of modern perfumery with stellar performance and a very pleasing scent. It doesn’t come across as cloying; it smells of honey in all its chromatic richness almost like honey without the sweet molecules with notes of date and sesame. The tobacco is subtle almost taming that sweetness. It smells good but very strong and intense; I find it super attractive but when I tried it it cloyed me a bit not due to sweetness but intensity. I think it has something like oud typical of the niche so it doesn’t suit my tastes but objectively it is spectacular especially if you are a lover of winter perfumes opulent and oriental for the Western market.
It’s like opening a jar of honey with a touch of tobacco cloves and wood. I like that the honey isn’t cloying as it balances well with the wood and clove while the tobacco base makes it elegant. On my skin it lasted over 12 hours with the honey and wood standing out the most. In my opinion it’s good if you like sweet things but not cloying ones and the important thing is that it smells of pure honey not synthetic. I recommend it for fresh rainy or cold climates day or night. In my case I wear it all year round.
It’s like opening a jar of honey with a touch of tobacco, clove and wood. The honey isn’t cloying because it balances perfectly with the wood and clove, leaving an elegant tobacco trail in the background. On my skin, it lasts over 12 hours, highlighting the honey and wood. Ideal if you like sweet scents but not excessive; it smells of pure honey, not synthetic. I recommend it for fresh, rainy or cold days, although I wear it all year round.
What a spectacular perfume, I was gifted a 2ml decant and wow. It has ingredients of the highest quality, leaves no one indifferent and has a unique personality. The honey is the protagonist, accompanied by a rich tobacco with a creamy and woody base; on my skin that creamy vanilla and honey stand out throughout its entire lifespan. It results in a warm perfume that envelops you with all its nuances and has prolonged longevity. The first time I smelled it on someone else I liked it, but now that I know it better, I’ve fallen in love. The price in Mexico is high, the small version comes to $400, but I think it’s worth it as it lasts a long time with few sprays. Highly recommended, perfume bomb.
Guerlain never misses: it is pure niche, sweet and bright with a strong identity. It smells of realistic honey, rich tobacco and spices over a very wearable oud base. It doesn’t imitate anyone; it is original. P.S.: It smells nothing like Tobacco Vanille.
Magnificent and spectacular, Guerlain never disappoints and this is niche in the truest sense. It’s a beautiful, sweet and superbly balanced fragrance with lots of identity; it doesn’t try to imitate anything and they are always at the forefront. Realistic and bright honey, rich and aromatic tobacco, many spices and a very easy-to-wear oud base. Simply beautiful. PS: it doesn’t resemble Tobacco Vanille in the slightest, check your olfactory senses.
A very realistic honey note that as it dries down evokes sweat… but not dirty sweat, skin scent, like the one Francesca Bianchi uses. A totally sensual and sexual perfume. On my husband the tobacco stands out more, while on me it’s the honey. What a spectacular perfume! It’s a safe blind buy if yours is the sexy side.
What a perfume bomb. The scent is addictive: honey to the max, a light and elegant tobacco, a spiced base and a domesticated oud to make everything fit. I can’t stop smelling it; it has personality and its own brilliance, nothing smells alike. However, I have the same problem as with Tobacco Vanille: it ends up suffocating me, too much strength and intensity that saturates my head. It’s an insurmountable drawback. With TV I hated it until I felt sick, with this one not so much, but the sensation is similar. I love smelling it, but it doesn’t suit wearing it. Unisex, for very special occasions, as it loses versatility and stays living on the skin. Cold nights, a 10. Perfume bomb yes, but not for me.
It’s a masterpiece, though not for me. The honey is hyper-realistic, sticky and sweet, mixed with soft spices and a pipe tobacco that overwhelms me. For the first few hours it’s a beast: I only notice those two ingredients and nothing else. As it dries down, they fade significantly, revealing a warm, vanilla-woody base that becomes friendly. The quality is extreme, but initially it’s so potent and sweet that it feels suffocating. It’s unisex if you like this style, but only for cold weather, semi-formal events and open spaces, as it can be overpowering. The performance is among the best I’ve tried. If the above doesn’t scare you, try it without hesitation.
