The absolute favourite, unbeatable. I still have the last drop saved in the bottle. Does anyone know of a dupe that resembles it? I simply cannot get over this scent.
What a delightful fragrance! What a pity it’s discontinued. I still have the bottle (with a few drops left to preserve its aroma) and the pink leather pouch that came with it, as I bought the set with cream. This would undoubtedly have been my signature scent. Exquisite, long-lasting, with an incredible trail. I will never forget it.
Exquisite perfume. I’ve been wearing it since 11 o’clock and it’s still projecting like little explosions. It’s exactly as I remember. It has a sharp edge, as if it’s saying ‘hey, I’m here’. It hits you like a bouquet of orchids in the face, with a hint of violet and a strong, sweet jasmine note at the end. If I had to define it in one word: cheeky or cheerful.

It was one of my first perfumes, during my mid-teens… I remember falling in love with it the first time I smelled it, bought it, and it didn’t disappoint. I don’t understand why they’ve discontinued it; it was sweet, very different, smelled of ‘strawberry’ but with class, violet or something similar. It could be worn day or night. If anyone knows of a similar perfume, please let me know.
Promesse de Cacharel, if I were to describe it very briefly for myself: a candied violet with very noticeable raspberry accents and dusted touches of musk. As always, they discontinue fragrances that convey diversity and originality. It feels very youthful, fun, and somewhat original.
Girls, I spent a long time searching for a perfume similar to Promesse after it was discontinued, and my search led me to Joy by Dior; they are remarkably similar. 100% recommended for those of us mourning the loss of our beloved Promesse.

It was lovely: fresh, cheerful, and youthful yet sophisticated. The blackberry scent won me over because my own perfume at the time was Doubleje Eau Jeune. That one transported you to a pine forest picking blackberries and raspberries, while this did so in a fresher, more elegant, and refined way. I have a vivid memory of smelling it on my wrist while studying. Alongside Anaïs Anaïs, this was my favourite Cacharel. I think if it were released again, it would be a hit. As a perfume for teenagers, it feels much less childish than Amor Amor.

Back then, luxury perfumery was starting to gain ground over cheap colognes, and I was head over heels for Cacharel; this was my crown jewel. I managed to get a sample from Sephora for special occasions, but it was so expensive I could never afford the bottle. Over the years, I found out it was discontinued and now there’s no way to get it at a reasonable price. I don’t understand why they discontinued it; it had such a following. I hope they bring it back, as other brands have done with other perfumes. If anyone has it in good condition or knows of a similar scent, please get in touch.
This perfume was a jewel; I don’t understand why they discontinued it. It was very soft yet intense at the same time; that blend of blackberry, mandarin and flowers was simply divine. One of my favourites, I’ve tried to track it down but it’s an impossible mission. It’s sold on eBay at outrageous prices, and I’ve searched for its scent in other perfumes without finding anything that resembles it. I love Cacharel but I don’t get why they discontinue their successes. What a shame.
Ah! My perfume from 2005, the year I fell in love for the first time at the age of 16. It was a gift from my parents; I think I used three bottles that year (I still keep the last one with a little liquid left, along with the body cream). It was a delicious scent, one of those that would still be relevant today and I would probably still be wearing it. Fruity, tender and youthful. The performance was a bit poor, but you forgive it for being so delicious.
I’ve just managed to get a 30ml bottle with about 15ml remaining, as I didn’t want to pay the price without smelling it first, and I must say… I loved it. It’s a delicate and refined scent, very much my style, but I must highlight the short longevity; on my skin, it lasts barely two hours. At least it got rid of my urge to try it. Best wishes.

I still have half the bottle left; I haven’t worn it in a long time but I’ll give it another chance. It’s a very youthful, citrus-floral scent with a sour touch, with a strong and very long-lasting presence thanks to being an EDT. It smells of innocence, that feeling one has before a mutual promise and declaration of love when young and still believing in love, perhaps the first or second. It smells of young, innocent, pure and faithful love, where that person is everything and there are no jealousies or third parties, something that hardly exists today, unfortunately. It smells of idealised love; it’s a fragrance that will make you feel that emotion and joy. It’s worth smelling; even though they’ve discontinued it, they always do the same with the best fragrances.

Soft and uncomplicated. I’d recommend it for anyone under 25, as every young person who asked about the scent absolutely loved it. It has a sweet note that I enjoy, but it’s not a cure-all.
I was gifted this years ago, right when it launched, without even hearing about it beforehand. I liked the advert and the bottle, so I ordered one. I still have some left. A little goes a long way, but too much becomes heavy and gives me a headache. Definitely not my style now that I’m older, hehe.
