I have the EDT; it fades quickly, but it’s very special. Delicate and very feminine, it’s a combination of notes you rarely find… I wish it lasted longer; I’m not sure if there’s an EDP version. It’s a unique classic.
I remember it was a birthday gift, and since then it’s become one of my favourites. I’ve always liked it more as it develops in autumn and winter. Despite being an EDT, it’s always had excellent longevity on me. Although it’s a little sweet, it’s nothing aggressive; I think the orange gives it a perfect balance.
I’ve been wearing it since school. Despite being citrusy and fruity (which I usually don’t like), I consider it perfect for all year round. It was my signature scent during those key years… the affection I have for it is indescribable; I can never go without a bottle.
I think it’s a well-crafted perfume thanks to that balance of sweetness and freshness. Very wearable for any occasion and season. Its longevity on my skin is good, and it’s reasonably priced. I believe it should be a staple in every woman’s vanity, regardless of age.
I just discovered it in the trail of a work colleague. I’d been smelling it for ages without knowing what it was until she told me it was Amor Amor. What I encountered in the trail was a soapy scent, like a lovely, clean bar of soap, then something creamy, gourmand, with vanilla. What struck me most was that the earlier part was fruity, like mango, a gentle sweetness, not strong, which gave it character. I was super curious. It reminded me of Rihanna’s Riri but creamier, or the Black Rouge lipstick by Cacharel, that kind of fruity vibe. Now, surprised by the notes, though it all makes sense. Very pretty trail. To me, it smells like someone who is super clean and yet delicious, creamy. Something like a peach soap with juicy cream.
Excellent longevity, very youthful, and I loved it the moment I put it on my skin. It’s not cloying; I felt it had a citrusy touch.
It’s a classic that always receives compliments. It opens with red fruits and then blends into soft florals. It’s beautiful. In my case, I’ve never been passionate about it, but it’s easy to wear and everyone likes it.
It’s a classic that I don’t know what has me so smitten. I dare say it’s my absolute favourite of all 😍. It can be worn day or night, at any time, without annoying anyone.
It caught me by surprise. Without reading the notes and just looking at the bottle, I thought it would be sweet and musky, but no, it’s genuinely citrusy. You can really smell the bergamot and roses. It reminded me a bit of a lemon footie. Very nice and fresh.
Classic, fresh and timeless. I wore it at 15 and have now brought it back. It’s fruity at first, then the rose really comes through. People always give me a compliment.
Great perfume delicious. It was my signature in secondary school and my first love reminds me of it to this day because it seemed irresistible to him. I still have a bottle I use daily at the office this autumn and always receive compliments. I’ll be buying it again. It’s excellent as a signature; it doesn’t smell like a girl but like a young adult feminine and sexy. There are bad reviews but I think it depends on your pH. It’s sweet fruity and floral.
I love it: citrusy and sweet perfect for summer or the shoulder seasons. It doesn’t just smell of lemon; it’s a lovely blend that highlights the floral notes over time. I recommend it if you can get it cheap; it’s not expensive considering the quality and longevity. It’s not invasive but you notice it when you move or sweat leaving a skin trail afterwards. It’s French. I wanted it since 2013-14 because of a Spanish YouTuber but I never dared until I tried it. It’s like Kenzo Flower Tag or Nina but less invasive. Ideal for daily wear work or quiet outings (not for parties or staying in alone). The bottle is pretty it comes without a cap and the 100ml is small ideal for travel. I don’t recommend buying just 30 or 50ml for travel. It will soon be my signature. It suits almost all ages especially 14 to 30: youthful but not childish.
Amour Amour is innocence with character: intense feminine strong and delicate all at once. Intoxicating; I’ve owned it twice and I believe it has pheromones; between those two bottles I got pregnant with my second daughter. Haha! It never fails it’s adorable.
Cacharel’s Amor Amor brings back school memories; they gave it to me by mistake as a boy’s fragrance and I used it without knowing. I received many compliments even from a French teacher. Now after trying it out of curiosity I see it smells good but is less fresh and distinctive than before. Still I’ve seen it at a good price online.
I’ve had it since my teens and the truth is it has never ceased to please me; it’s one of my all-time favourites and I keep buying it over and over again.
Thank goodness it smells good and the bottle is gorgeous although it doesn’t last long. I love that touch of blackcurrant; very romantic and pleasant.
For now I only have 10 feminine fragrances and this is one of my favourites. It’s not extremely surprising but it’s a very pleasant aroma a sweet citrus floral that’s hard to get tired of. Yes at least to my nose it doesn’t have much sillage but it’s worth it for the smell.
A lovely perfume; I detect fruity notes but it’s well-sweetened by the vanilla. I see it as super versatile suitable for any season (except summer) day or night. It seems sweet feminine and innocent.
Reminds me of the now-discontinued Natura Faces Intensa. It smells sweet feminine and youthful but without any surprises. The longevity is short it’s not impactful and it’s one of those scents you’ve probably heard a thousand times. Do I use it? Yes because it’s light and not annoying. Would I recommend it? Maybe not; its price and longevity don’t work in its favour.
It’s my go-to fragrance; I’ve had it since a friend recommended it and I fell in love at first sniff. It’s super feminine without being heavy and it still smells lovely even when dry down; delicate and subtle without changing completely like others do.
To me it’s for autumn or spring, neither winter nor summer. Fresh, not tiring, rich, juicy and citrusy. It projects nothing, never complimented me, doesn’t fill enclosed spaces. It’s fine for going to the office; if you want to stand out, don’t expect much. Honestly, buy it during a hot sale or with a good offer.
I perceive it as a lemon granita with rose petals, giving a chilly sensation. Good for spring or summer. I don’t usually like roses but here it’s very balanced and youthful. It makes me feel feminine.
Classic and elegant, it never fails. I tried the perfume; it has different notes but similar longevity. Amor Amor is classic, rich, versatile and doesn’t fall behind despite its age. I bought it at a good price for my collection and have no regrets.
Does the dry-down smell like old rags?
My second favourite.
In primary school, a friend’s mum had a perfume that went crazy in me when I hugged her: slightly sweet but cut with fruit, not cloying, giving warmth like a mother’s hug. Due to my shyness I didn’t ask, until in the bathroom I reached for the bottles on the shelf and there it was: Cacharel’s Amor Amor. Today, nearly 15 years later, I bought my first bottle for those memories and to give warm hugs. At first it was sharp, the citrus very present, but the dry-down is the fruity, amber vanilla I remembered, with eternal longevity. Moderate trail for 4 or 5 hours, then skin-scent only, very intimate but still noticeable the next day. What a beautiful fragrance and memories.
One of my favourites: subtle, feminine, sweet without being cloying. The musk adds a sensual touch that I love. People say it doesn’t last, but on my skin it makes a good combination and lasts all day. The price is super accessible.
The longevity is spectacular, over 8 hours, with a moderate trail noticeable when moving the arms, but the scent didn’t convince me. It’s citrusy with powder, sounding like a mature woman.
Not much of a fragrance, it smells sweet and common and doesn’t last at all, just a personal bubble. It’s not worth the price; here in Argentina, with that money you could buy two very good Arabes. I wouldn’t buy it again.
Cacharel at its best with fragrances. It smells strong, I perceive it that way. Sweet, nostalgic and youthful. Cloying yet fresh, citrusy but not sour. I don’t feel it’s romantic or anything like that. There are more sensual and floral perfumes than this.
Nothing special to report; my mum gifted it to me in exchange for a Cartier I hated. Citrusy at first, then rose; I imagine smelling a bouquet by the river. Fresh and floral, yet with no projection, it’s intimate and perfect for hot weather. It doesn’t kill me, it’s not bad, and has charm because it’s from 20 years ago. I’d recommend it from age 18 upwards; it smells good but not old-lady-ish; I wouldn’t give it to a 15 or 16-year-old.
I’m fascinated by it. I had several flankers and finally tried the original. It’s crazy how rich and addictive it is: citrusy, sparkling, youthful and coquettish. I feel it’s the perfect gift for teenagers. It’s a classic; the only downside is that it doesn’t last long. 9/10.
I don’t know which note it is, but both this perfume and Armani Sí give me nausea and seem cloying. I think it’s my nose, but I’d like to know which component causes that reaction.
To me, it’s already too common and the scent has fallen behind other perfumes with similar notes.
If you’re looking for something citrusy, fresh and summery, it’s a great option. The citrus notes are noticeable without being overly sweet. However, after hours on the skin, it smells synthetic, which I don’t like, so I avoid it.
Pleasant citrus-sweet. For the price, it has good longevity. Unfortunately, it smells like plasticine when it dries. The more you try it, the more details emerge. It’s good for anyone who just wants to smell nice.
My perfume from 4th year of secondary school right through to the end of A-levels. I already had a boyfriend and was looking for sweet, coquettish fragrances to match my nature, which is quite chavvy. Why did I start wearing Scandal for work? It all began with this one. A studious chav, well-deserved. It’s perfect for young, affectionate, approachable and bold girls. Be careful! It’s like honey to bees; you attract a lot of attention. Ideal for starting to flirt and explore romance. I also had Forbidden Kiss; this Cacharel line reminds me a lot of Interdit, both the bottle and the longevity. For the coquettes.
It’s enchanting; I used to smell it on my mum when I was little and would go wild over the advert, dreaming of owning it. Now that I have it, I love it and it’s one of my favourites: it smells modern, hasn’t gone out of fashion, and lasts for ages. Notes of sweet blackcurrants with a floral touch. Very youthful and pretty.
A perfume that used to belong to my mum until I ‘stole’ it in 2018-19. For the price, it’s one of the richest and most accessible. Although it’s not quite my style now, I remember all the compliments; I recommend it for those over 20, as it smells more mature and refined for a teenager. Very versatile, it shines in autumn and spring.
Smells incredible: citrusy without being sour, sweet without being cloying. Easy to use, a blind buy that never lets you down.
