Of all the flankers of ‘Amour Amour’ I’ve tried, this is the one I like the least; probably due to the caramel, which feels very cloying and sweet, even giving me a headache.
A totally different take on ‘Amour Amour’. It’s the fourth one I own and my favourite, alongside ‘Forbidden Kiss’. The original gives me headaches (just like ‘Tentation’) and feels boring; plus, so many people wear it, so I’m looking for something distinct. Within the gourmands, if you don’t like sweet things, stay away; if you do, you’ll adore it. It opens with a fruity blend of apple and cinnamon, making it unique compared to the generic ‘Be Delicius’. Then comes vanilla, and as it dries down, a spiced caramel reminiscent of ‘Prada Candy’. It’s like eating a caramel apple on a starry summer night. It evolves quickly, isn’t intrusive or heavy. The downside is that, like the other ‘Amour Amour’ scents, it has poor projection and longevity. It’s a shame because it’s an original, youthful gourmand that older women with attitude can wear without looking ridiculous.
Smelled like the original ‘Amour Amour’ but with caramel and vanilla. Not very soft at all.
A good perfume, ideal for those who love sweet scents. It reminds me of Loverdose but softer and lighter. Cheers.
A lovely EDT with a soft cinnamon and fruity notes that make it very pleasant; if it were available in Eau de Parfum, I’d definitely take it home.
Have you noticed the scent is practically identical to Juicy Couture? They smell virtually the same.
OMG, delicious! Girls must have this because a man would die if you smelled like this. Caramelised apple and vanilla. A very delicious gourmand combination! If you like sweets, you must try this.
I tested it on my skin today; the first thing you smell is caramel, vanilla and popcorn 🙂 After some time, it becomes like the original Amor Amor but with a caramelised and summery touch. Like the original, it has good fixation.
I tested this perfume today, looking for an affordable alternative to Vie Est Belle, and they are very similar. However, the Lancôme version is much better in terms of sillage and longevity, and a bit richer.
I tried it on my skin today. Upon application, the first thing you smell is caramel, vanilla and popcorn. After a while, it becomes like the original ‘Amour Amour’ but with a caramelised and summery touch. Like the original, it has good staying power.
A sweet, playful and very pleasant perfume. On my skin, the first thing that stands out is the cinnamon, which becomes softer with each passing moment, giving way to a rich fruity and caramelised fragrance… I like it, however, I haven’t purchased it because I have the impression it resembles many other perfumes. Although I am addicted to sweet notes, I almost always wait for something with a slightly more ‘mysterious’ note… In any case, perhaps one day I will succumb to this Cacharel. On my skin, the longevity is medium and the trail is very soft. I suppose it suits almost any woman (provided they enjoy gourmand aromas) and any age.

It is long-lasting and smells quite strong. After a while, its most noticeable note is caramel, but without being heavy, very sweet.
I thought I would find a truly delicious fragrance, but no. It is so sweet it’s cloying, very heavy and not original at all; it feels like a generic perfume. Perhaps those who enjoy gourmand scents might like it, but not me. I wouldn’t buy it for anything in the world.
A rather uncomplicated perfume: apples, caramel and loads of cinnamon. I’m not sure how well that combination works, but in any case I bought the largest bottle; it seems like a good option for summer. The cinnamon and the little citrus touch give a certain sense of freshness. Super sweet! Good longevity and moderate sillage. I don’t use it much; I would use it more if it weren’t for the high dose of cinnamon which sometimes overwhelms me and the caramel which skews slightly towards synthetic. Nevertheless, I like having it in my collection.
Amor Amor is my favourite perfume, so when In a Flash launched, I didn’t hesitate for a second and went to buy it almost without smelling it. I asked the sales assistant to test it on my skin, and within five seconds I decided to take it home. To my surprise, that same night I could still smell it on my arm and couldn’t bear it. It has something spicy about it; I don’t know how to explain it. I tried wearing it several times until the last occasion made me nearly ill. I eventually gave it to my sister and asked her not to wear it when I see her, as I literally cannot stand the scent, not even to smell it. A real disappointment…
This is the one I like the least!
It was the first sweet fragrance I bought two years ago and I love it. I wore it every day until I finished the bottle; it has that super-sweet little scent that doesn’t go unnoticed. As I like to try new fragrances, I didn’t buy it again, but as soon as I have the opportunity, it will be back in my collection.
Well, it was my first perfume; it’s a delight and smells very nice on my skin. After Valentina Pink, it’s my second favourite. Sweet and youthful. I bought the small bottle the first time and this second time I bought the large one.
Lovely… very sweet… But I admit it can tire some people out. Quite good longevity. I love it but wouldn’t buy it again. I took advantage of a promotion at a very good price and am enjoying it a lot, but I could live without it.
The best gourmand perfume that exists. You can sense the fruits, but what stands out most is the sweetness. Some might find it cloying, but I adore it. Besides, its trail is excellent. A good variation of the classic Amor Amor.
It’s clear that for dry skins, those that sweat the least, sweet perfumes or heavy-trailing ones work very well, just as florals suit those who sweat more. Hence the variable of longevity according to pH. I tested this myself: my skin is as dry as a lizard’s and I find it hard to sweat. Gourmands have always suited me very well, and Amor Amor In a Flash is no exception. It opens with a delicious, vanilla-infused apple, then moves to warm, delicious caramel. Finally, over time, it stays true to jasmine with cinnamon and caramel, a description of Snow White.
The first time I smelled it, it seemed excessively sweet, even burning my nose. Over time, it became one of my favourites: it smells of cinnamon, apple, caramel and vanilla… it’s a sweet bomb and I love it. I’m not sure if I’ll repurchase just to try new fragrances, but its scent is totally worth it and it lasts all day.
A fragrance with a strong trail and an acceptable medium longevity. Very sweet; you can detect the cinnamon and a fairground-style caramelised apple. Very heavy for hot days; I see it as suitable for daytime use, especially for informal and fun outings.
To me, the opening smells just like the original Amor Amor; there isn’t much difference and I don’t love it as much, but once it dries down it’s another world. I adore that caramel and vanilla scent it leaves on the skin. It just takes a little while for the original-like smell to fade. I’d love to have it in my collection, but since I already own the original, I’m not sure if it’s nearly the same. The dry down, as I said, is wonderful. Sweet without being cloying.
A colleague wore it and I bought it because it suited her, but after a few months I grew bored with it. It’s cloying and extremely long-lasting. I wouldn’t buy it again.
It’s a super lovely perfume, sweet but not overpowering, a great gourmand. I adore how it smells on my skin; it lasts well and suits me perfectly. I wear it almost daily.
It has nothing unfamiliar but its aroma is very pretty. A very lovely perfume—sweet but not cloying and very appealing. Medium longevity. I rate it as balanced because it’s neither invasive nor loud. Of the L’Amour line it’s the best.
A very lovely perfume that smells great. Sweet without being cloying and not at all intrusive. The notes that stand out most are caramel and cinnamon. It has good longevity on the skin a moderate sillage and is very versatile suitable for both autumn and spring. I would repurchase without hesitation.
I loved this perfume; one day my mum brought a sample and it fascinated me. Months later I went to try the ‘L’Amour’ because my mum had mentioned that name but I didn’t like it at all. Then I discovered it was the In a Flash version. How delicious! Very sweet and cosy. The notes I detect most are caramel vanilla and cinnamon. At first I sensed a spiciness clearly from the cinnamon. It’s too delicious and I plan to buy it again.
Like it quite a bit. Reminds me of macarons—sweet but not cloying or heavy. Nothing artificial though it does feel a little composed. Ideal for winter and autumn. It doesn’t last long on my skin and I feel it lasts even less in the heat but I still like it quite a lot. Recommended only if you enjoy sweet scents; otherwise abstain. It’s not fresh or citrusy for me but it’s excellent.
Like it quite a bit; I’ve had it for some time and only recently started paying it more attention. Smells similar but not identical to Guerlain Le Petit Robe Noire Intense (the blue one) yet it still retains the essence of the classic L’Amour. Fun fact: I have the 30ml bottle and the packaging is super comfortable to carry in my handbag.
I LOVED IT! It’s very similar to Viktor Rolf’s Bon Bon but at a lower price. I’m fascinated by its citrus mandarin scent that finishes with milky caramel; it has good longevity and is worth it if you like gourmand perfumes. I hope they don’t discontinue it!!
Not one of my favourites; it smells like something you could chew, like a dessert. I’ll give it another try in winter because in the middle of June, I just don’t feel like it. Smells great though! If you like gourmand scents, don’t miss out ❤️
I tried it in 2016 and loved it; I was absolutely blown away because the regular Amor Amor usually doesn’t take my fancy. I regret not buying a bottle 😔. The downside is I can’t find it anywhere around here.
Smells like sweet caramel, fruit, and freshness; it lasts forever and is super feminine and energetic. I’m a fan of Amor Amor, but this one blows it out of the water. I’ve received countless compliments and everyone wants to smell it all day. Out of the whole line, this is the undisputed queen.
Sweet caramel, fruity and fresh aroma. It’s super long-lasting, feminine and energetic. I’m a huge fan of ‘Amour Amour’ and this one surpasses it. I’ve been praised for it thousands of times and it invites you to feel fragrant all day. Among the editions, this is by far the best.
Listen, please bring it back! It’s my absolute favourite perfume and, despite their attempts to compare it, nothing else comes close. I’ve tried everything to find a substitute and it’s impossible! 🙁
