Descripción

La Nuit Trésor by Lancôme is a vanilla oriental fragrance for women. Launched in 2015, this composition was created by Christophe Raynaud and Amandine Clerc-Marie. The top notes highlight the freshness of pear, tangerine orange, and bergamot. The heart of the fragrance reveals a combination of strawberry, black rose, vanilla orchid, and passion fruit. Meanwhile, the base notes offer a warm and enveloping foundation with praline, caramel, vanilla, lychee, patchouli, incense, coffee, licorice, coumarin, and Egyptian papyrus.

  • This perfume smells very well; it is sweet, dark, elegant, and mature. Very good for wearing at night. I liked it, it has a different scent.

There is a short story called ‘Miss Baudelaire’ by an independent writer, Diego Minero. If that vampire had a scent, it would be this perfume. It is exquisite, sweet, dark, sexy, mysterious, addictive, alluring, elegant, and delicious. It was love at first sniff and I finally have it in my hands. I do not know why they say it is for a mature woman; not at all, although it is certainly a perfume with personality. If you do not like to attract attention, it is not for you. Ideal for cold and especially rainy climates, for afternoon and evening, with red lipstick, black eyeliner, and free, happy hair.

What a delight, what quality, what elegant, what mysterious. Among designer perfumes, this and every flanker are spectacular. It reminds me of a tipsy bonbon, dark with bitter chocolate.

This is a perfume that when it runs out, I systematically replace it. Sexy, sweet, elegant, and evening scent. Every time I wear it, someone asks or says they like how I smell. The longer you keep this perfume, the better it smells, as the fragrance macerates over time. I must warn that it is not a scent for teenagers, but for adult women, as it has certain tints of maturity.

What has happened here and why is no one talking about it? This perfume does not smell as before… not the notes, not the potency, nothing. 80€ for 100ml at Primor and it has been a maximum disappointment.

For those who say it no longer smells as before: indeed, it is discontinued, and what is sold in shops and on the Lancôme website is the 2019 reformulation, which also has an entry on Fragrantica. Many comment on the LNT EDP in this version because it is the first one that appears when you search, but it has been discontinued since 2019. The new version smells very different, nothing like the enigmatic and dark original. I still have a miniature of this version and I treasure it like a jewel.

It is a work of art: the sexiest, darkest, most mysterious strawberry I have ever heard of. It is one of the few perfumes to be appreciated in layers: first a sweet, juicy layer of passion fruit with barely acidic strawberry, then the rose which adds seriousness and elegance. In the base, a spiced and mentholated sweetness (papyrus) accompanies it timidly until, upon drying, it becomes a tender, charming sweetness. It is a bomb for cold climates and evenings, with an incredible trail and longevity.

Tresor La Nuit is a deep, gourmand, sweet, penetrating, sharp, and extremely long-lasting perfume. It enters the mind and stays there. I have been wearing it since 2016. I have only one drawback: as it is so invasive, it gives me headaches, so it must be used with caution. It has replaced my favourite and discontinued perfume, the Essence Pure by S.T. Dupont.

I save this for nights and parties; it’s a sexy bombshell that suits a mature, mysterious woman perfectly. The scent is exquisite. I’ve had the 100ml bottle for some time now, and a few drops go a long way—the longevity and trail are outstanding.

  • karenzapata

Strong. Dark. Intense. Gourmand. Elegant. Sexy. It is a perfume to stand out. I see it more for winter. It is really very potent and unique.

The best thing about maturing is returning to smell scents with a more clinical eye and giving another chance to this perfume that I did not like before, probably due to the patchouli which I now value more. It is one of the best patchoulis I have ever experienced; every note is noticeable. Here the pear only gives a touch, unlike in J’Adoré where I smell too much pear. It is rare that I like the dry down more than the opening, but it is a great timeless perfume, a jewel that never goes out of style ✨️. And that coffee… uff, it gives character and all the darkness I love.

  • I was drawn to it by the notes. Yesterday I tried it on blotter and then on skin: the opening is strong and at first impression I did not like it, but as minutes passed it changed into something sweet and floral. I still did not like it. Twelve hours passed and it is still very present, sweeter without being cloying. The vanilla and caramel are very noticeable. I did not like the beginning, but the dry down is marvellous. I recommend it for cold climates, autumn/winter and for the evening; its sillage is enormous and lasts more than 12 hours, even if I shower the scent remains.

  • I bought it for the notes and it did not disappoint at all. It is exquisite, potent and has presence. Sweet and caramelised, I love it!

  • A sweet scent: a juicy yet dark pear with woods, covered in caramel and vanilla, surrounded by juicy flowers and fruits, neither too fruity nor cloying, perfectly balanced. With this I feel femme fatale; for a night date at any time of year, it kills. It stands out within Lancôme: it is dark but sweet, elegant yet with youthful and playful touches. I love it and always recommend it when I can. Note: 20/10.

  • I sense too much of the Lancôme DNA here, and that, combined with my previous experiences with LVEB, means I do not enjoy it. I needed to give it more time, although I did and it disappointed me because I cannot find anything to make me love it. I don’t know… Edit: I gave it plenty of time and nothing changed. It remains a perfume without a joke, neither lasting nor projecting. Just another sweet Lancôme.

  • I tried it in a decant before buying. On my skin it smells like incense or something bitter; it lacks that caramel sweetness the notes suggest. Perhaps it’s just my skin. The longevity and sillage are good, but nothing extraordinary.

  • Valentina24

Divine! My boyfriend gifted it to me and it is super sweet with an eternal longevity on clothes 😍. Very elegant, perfect for going out at night.

  • When I first tried it, it smelled like my mum: so sweet and elegant that I love the opening, where the patchouli (my favourite note) is absolutely dominant.

  • It’s simply exquisite. Sweet, intense, and soft at the same time; warm and special. Definitely a fragrance to enjoy on autumnal and winter days. That base of vanilla, coffee, praline, caramel, licorice… with that raspberry and passion fruit. A foking work of art! I hope they never discontinue it. Scent: 10/10 Longevity: 10/10 Versatility: 5/10. Perfection: 100/10.

  • I tried it in a perfumery and loved how it smelled! Sweet and warm 🥰 very comforting. I got the impression it might stain a little, though 😅 I showed it to my boyfriend and he gave it a non-negligible 7.3 🙈 He said it smelled to him like cotton candy and incense 😯

  • It’s a delicious perfume; on my skin, the caramelised passion fruit note with lots of patchouli is very noticeable. It’s long-lasting with a wide trail. I like it a lot; without a doubt, I’ll order a refill 🫶🏻

  • Valentinapd99

What I love most about this perfume has no name. It’s sweet, fruity yet dark, with a very sexy note. I wear it at night, and since I live in a cold place, it suits me perfectly. An excellent blind buy for those who love strong fragrances!

  • It was my first perfume and I will keep buying and recommending it for life; without a doubt, it’s a 10. The only downside is that I only wear it at night and in cold weather because its notes can become overpowering, but all things considered, it’s something safe that most people will like. When I wear it, I receive many compliments 😊

  • It’s delicious, sweet, sensual, and elegant. I see it as ideal for autumn/winter nights. Honestly, it seemed too similar to La Vie Est Belle. I’m not sure if it’s been reformulated, but just smelling it made me recall the scent of LVEB.

  • Brisaymiel

Smells fantastic; it’s sweet but with an acidic twist that reminds me of plums. It’s elegant, sensual, and soft. It doesn’t project much and after three hours it’s just skin scent, though it lasts quite a while like that.

  • A perfume with a strong presence and dark vanilla; absolutely delicious, just like all the Nuit scents. I wear it at night for going out or a date, and it leaves a REGIO impression <3

  • It’s super strong. The first time I wore it, I couldn’t stand it; I can’t explain why, I hated it. But when I wore it again, I noticed the fruity and gourmand aspects (which I love) and the incense (which I also love) perfectly. A colleague said: ‘you smell like a wealthy lady from the hills’. I like to wear it for going to the theatre, evening events or places with air conditioning, because in cold environments it can be a bit overpowering.

  • juliaguilera

One of the juiciest perfumes I’ve tried. Very suitable for special occasions and for winter. The scent is a 10; I still need to test the performance as I had other perfumes in priority, but it smells very rich.

  • I don’t like it; I tried it for a month. It smells of strong patchouli and incense all the time, combined with a bit of chocolate and caramel. It’s a winter scent, for night and parties.

  • Super sweet, very noticeable in the room. I was impressed by the longevity on both skin and clothes. Some might say that because it’s so sweet it’s only for winter, but with the lychee note I feel it’s for all year round.

  • I don’t like the opening; I smell lots of roses. But after 40 minutes, I notice the fruits and the wonderful sweetness of the praline, caramel and coffee. I love the scent after those 40 minutes. I think it’s for autumn-winter, although it could be worn in summer with fewer sprays so as not to give a headache, or for night. I’ve received compliments: on a flight, a girl asked me what perfume I was wearing because she felt a delicious smell.

  • Let’s be honest, no lies to impress. It’s not worth the price. It smells like an old lady, nothing more or less. The patchouli is too noticeable and it smells awful. Don’t spend money on this; it’s sweet… sweetly disgusting.

  • joaquindalessio

If you’re looking for something sweet, go for the original La Nuit de Tresor, without a doubt. I detect a caramelised pear with extra sweetness, which I suppose is the praline. Two things I don’t like: it’s linear and doesn’t evolve much like La Vie Est Belle; and for me, it hardly lasts half an hour. The incredible thing is that it’s a compliment bomb and projects massively. In fact, two of my students (I’m a high school teacher) told me they could smell it down the corridor while I was in class!

  • thesongofhecate

I’ve been wearing it since 2016 and it remains one of the best. I call it ‘Sensuality in a bottle’. If you want to reflect your sexy side, it’s ideal: it lasts and projects massively, literally leaving a trail wherever you go. It works day or night, but I think it looks better for autumn and winter. It’s oriental, sweet but not overwhelming, vanilla, woody and fruity. On my nose, the main notes are: coffee, black rose, patchouli, vanilla and perhaps licorice. The bottle is beautiful and very sensual; the name and the bottle go hand in hand. For me, it’s the best of the brand.

  • Extremely sweet, super sexy and perfect for night. It’s one of my favourites: on my skin the patchouli goes unnoticed, and I only detect the fruits, caramel and praline. Without a doubt, a 10/10.

  • A friend gave it to me and it just didn’t suit me, although I don’t hate it. I’ve worn it a few times and I’m sure now it’s not for me. The blend of coffee, chocolate, patchouli and citrus always sounds strange to me. It projects well and lasts for hours, surrounding you completely. I see it as a perfume for older women or for evening wear; it’s the opposite of a fresh scent despite the acidic fruits. I’ve received compliments, so I recommend trying it in a shop before buying.
