  1. I fell in love at first sniff 😍. It’s supremely elegant, dark and sexy. To me, it is the very essence of a WOMAN, and I’m not talking about age (perfumes don’t have one), but rather that when you wear it, you’re shouting ‘I’m here!’. It has attitude, mystery and femininity… I bought it blind based on the notes and the DNA, and wow, I was absolutely blown away. It is exactly the sweet, dark and sexy scent I was looking for for the evening. Just a clarification: I’m describing it on its own merits, without comparing it to La Nuit Trésor. What it is: a deep and voluptuous aroma, ideal for the night (though the name already says it all). It’s sweet, very sweet, but nothing cloying. On my skin, I smell a sweet orchid and rose, intoxicating (a bit like Flowerbomb), but darker due to the coffee and incense. The licorice adds a sweet and earthy touch (just like the patchouli). The vibe reminds me a lot of Givenchy’s Very Irresistible Sensual, which was always my favourite of all time (and sadly discontinued). It has that intense floral-with-patchouli feel, but more elegant and spiced than a Flowerbomb. I don’t detect much caramel on my skin (the licorice is more prominent). In that sense, it does convey the DNA of the most powerful perfumes of the past (nowadays everything is edible gourmand or watery classics), but it is not vintage at all. What it is not: it’s not for the shy, nor for those seeking something fresh or girly. If you want a light gourmand, this isn’t it. If you want to smell like a ‘typical 20-year-old girl’, neither. This perfume demands character and personality. And I assure you, you won’t smell like everyone else. If it were a person, she would be a seductive woman in a black dress, smoky makeup, supremely elegant. Everyone looks when she passes, but if they lack confidence, she might even intimidate a little. Final notes: I’m writing this review before it has fully mellowed. I’ll update it in a few months! But even from the start, it seems incredible to me.
