I love it, it smells wonderful. Lasts quite a while on clothes and has a good trail. A good perfume.
My opinion is based on paper testing only; I haven’t tried it on skin. I liked it more than the original because it smells of fruit rather than detergent. It reminded me of an Oriflame perfume with raspberry, strawberry and white chocolate. It’s delicious, yet lacks personality and distinction; ideal as a gift for a teenage girl.
I bought it at Christmas alongside the original; I found it more youthful. It smells sweet without being cloying. The downside is that, as an EDP, it lasts nothing on skin: not even with reapplications from the bag does it leave a trail, and within minutes you can’t smell it. It’s fantastic, but I use it for sleeping. Edit: in summer the heat highlights the bergamot and jasmine, and as it dries, caramel and vanilla appear. I love that evolution, even though the projection remains almost non-existent.
The scent is top-notch, but I was generous and it faded in under an hour…
The scent is top-notch, but I was generous and it didn’t last even an hour. What a pity.
The only difference from the original is the pear note that emerges after 20 minutes. As I like that blend, I use it happily.
Sweet and delicious, but the longevity and projection are minimal. For the price, there are better options out there.
Delicious fragrance and all-rounder, pity it doesn’t last. On clothes 5-6 hours if you linger, on trail the first hour the room smells miles away with 10 sprays. On skin it’s a sigh, perhaps an hour or skin-deep two. It’s rich for reapplying, I picked it up on offer so it doesn’t hurt to put it on 2-3 times a day. Overall very feminine, rich and sweet without being cloying.
Delicious and versatile, but the battery life fails: lasted 5–6 hours on clothes and filled the room with its trail for the first hour, but on skin it’s a mere two-hour sigh. At the sale price, reapplying it 2–3 times a day doesn’t hurt. Sweet, feminine and not cloying.
I bought it for the bottle and loved it; I had hope it would last longer. Perfumes usually last a long time on me, but not this one. At most 3 hours. I’m not good at describing scents, but it smells lovely and isn’t cloying. The price-to-longevity ratio isn’t worth it; it’s too expensive and doesn’t last anything.
Fresh and youthful. The raspberry stands out at the start with a milky base. It’s neither too sweet nor acidic. Balanced and pleasant. The downside is the trail is very short and the fragrance a bit boring, though not so simple. It can be bought blind and gifted to any girl or woman.
Unfortunately, the reviews are true. This Yes I Am flanker doesn’t last at all, or at least not as much as its sisters. The original is my favourite: creamy, spiced, sweet, and long-lasting. With Pink First, I expected something as potent as Anaïs Anaïs Premier Delice, but it’s not. If the pear in Premier is a slap of sweetness, here it’s a gentle whisper. The opening is similar to the original: raspberry, white flowers, and a hint of milk. It settles quickly, feeling relaxed and fruity. And that’s it. There’s no dry down; once it fades, the scent disappears. I thought ambroxan would help, but it didn’t. Not even with a heavy hand on clothes or sprayed in the hair made much difference. It only lasted longer when combined with Premier Delice, but even then, the notes didn’t stand out. What a shame. I don’t recommend it. Stick with the original, other flankers, Premier Delice, or L’Amour.
Simply put: this flanker is absolutely not worth it. It’s the softest and, being so soft, lacks character. Zero.
I’m here to confirm this flanker is absolutely not worth it. It’s the softest and, being so soft, has no character. Zero.
Honestly, I don’t understand its bad reputation; this flanker is adorable. A lovely, feminine, and super-sweet scent, like being hugged by a raspberry. It lasted 5 hours on me with moderate projection and another hour closer to the skin. It’s not the most long-lasting, but good layering with a body mist fixes it. I wore it during the day, and with the wind, the scent rose to my hair: a delight. Perhaps I speak well because I got it at a good price; it’s not rubbish, but there are better fruity options. I’ll keep testing it.
It has a good scent, but something doesn’t convince me: the ginger flower. I feel it doesn’t fit with the other notes and gives it a strange mentholated touch. It’s not bad, but in my opinion, it makes it less pleasant. It’s strong and a bit suffocating, so I recommend wearing it in winter. I don’t know much about its longevity, but on my skin it lasted about 4 hours once.
I don’t understand the bad reputation; this flanker is adorable. A lovely, feminine and super-sweet aroma, like a raspberry hug. On me, it lasted 5 hours with moderate projection and another hour close to the skin. It’s not eternal, but a good layering with body mist fixes it. I wore it during the day and the wind lifted the scent from my hair; a delight. Perhaps I’m speaking well because I got it at a good price; it’s not rubbish, but there are better fruity options. I’ll keep testing it and will return to review it.
It’s tender and seductive. Very fruity at first; the pear and raspberry together make me feel like juicy orange, though I detect a faint lavender note (perhaps from the ginger). I don’t love the opening, but the dry down is very lovely. The flowers and sandalwood give it maturity, the raspberry persists, making it seductive and tender. Very pink. 7/10. The trail is weak, lasting 2-3 hours, so you need to reapply.
If you already own the first Yes I Am version, do not buy this. It is identical, dries down the same, and behaves the same; the only change is swapping the orange for raspberry. If you don’t know it yet and Yes I Am Pink First catches your eye, buy it: it’s rich and long-lasting. It smells of milk with a ginger and raspberry infusion.
My perfume for rainy days. On those cold, windy days, it comforts me; I’d love to feel it in the embrace of someone I care about. It smells of mentholated raspberry (fresh as the weather) mixed with spices (warmth). It has an interesting balance. The first minutes are intense, then it softens but remains persistent.
On first spray, it reminds me of a cherry-flavoured Halls lozenge; it smells exactly like that, but in perfume form. It’s sweet without being cloying and has a mentholated touch. I wear it for anything: day, night, or casual events. It smells lovely, but the longevity is short, lasting only about 3-4 hours depending on your skin.
