  I don’t like it at all. It smells odd, like a strong perfume from an older lady trying to attract attention.

  A delicate white and pink bottle that fits perfectly with its bouquet of flowers and spices. It’s sophisticated, romantic and feminine. An exquisite, innocent harmony that lasts for hours, honouring the classic but with a subtlety that makes it very current. On the skin, hyacinth and orange blossom blend quickly with roses, lilies of the valley and jasmine, which lingers until the end on cedar. The frankincense and sandalwood are subtle, but enough for that simple, special elegance that defines an Anais. I won’t put an age on it, you just need to know how to wear it without overdoing it. In short: absolutely recommended.

  One of the few times a reinterpretation doesn’t betray the original but updates it without losing its essence. It’s the same Anais Anais from my childhood, but without that balsamic/sour dry-down, with richer nuances. It starts sparkling, almost aldehydic, then moves into a pure, innocent floral. Lily of the valley, hyacinth and what I think is artemisia according to the box. Congratulations to Cacharel for this respect in the reformulation.

  It’s a powdery, clean floral, slightly mature. Hyacinth, white flowers, frankincense and wood dominate. A classic 90s floral.

  Come on, it smells like pure Cacharel: jasmine included, but I wouldn’t buy it as it’s too powdery and serious.
