I’ve fallen deeply in love with this giant called Noa; I feel it will be an eternal love. I also adore its siblings. The most beautiful thing about Cacharel, and what other houses should copy, is that their special editions always maintain a very faithful relationship with the original; the variation is subtle and elegant. With Noa L’Eau, curiously, I don’t feel it as fresh at the start; I barely notice the apple, but I do detect the peony in the mid-stage, giving it a pinkish touch, before the musk enters and transforms it into that mystical oriental love. Perhaps L’Eau de Flamingo is fresher and more summery. The truth is, Noa is difficult to analyse: the notes dance and blend so well that it’s impossible not to get drunk on it. About three hours after I tested it, it now smells fresher and the longevity is good.
It smells fresh; the green apple is very noticeable with a sweet blackcurrant touch, ending with peony. Ideal for summer, though nothing more.
You sense the classic Noa in the musk, very oriental. After a while, a powdery or earthy note appears. It’s warm.
